  1. Ok, so i've been picking through the retroarch source on swizzy's guithub.. since they will never release another one haha.. i've changed some things like the menu lists, the menu graphics, and such.. also included is a pre-defined cfg file(no more piecing together file for release) and folders. Analog is mapped, shaders are enabled and 1 is pre-applied for you, cheats work, cheat menu re-worked to limit text display(no overlapping text). Menu toggle has also been changed to L3 (left-thumb press) EDIT: right trigger is fast forward; left trigger is toggle cheat(once cheat file is loaded) right analog left/right(once cheat file is loaded) - scroll thru cheats ALSO, A button is accept/B is cancel in the menu.. swapped those as well hahahaha edit 2: ok, so i made an HD version, the sd/hd versions arent coded to display differently, so one change will change both lol.. included cheat files from: https://github.com/libretro/libretro-database/tree/master/cht

  3. I've been trying to work on a few projects with libxenon and SDL, but as soon as I tried to load most ELFs from (for example) IUNIXI libxenon examples repo and lantus sdlquake I either just get returned back to Xell or the xbox simply freezes. I also tried using an external hard drive disk to run the ELFs (since I don't have a USB at the moment) directly with Xell with no luck whatsoever. Here's a list of the programs which do run on with (apparently) no problems: GPU_Rand (sort of, it does when I use aurora to run it) SDLSample cube And a simple hello world test. The rest of the files just crashed, showed weird graphics, returned back to xell, or (in the case of BasicRendering) all of those at the same time.

  5. Earlier today I was using a cloud back up script for CFW on PS3. http://www.tabinda.net/posts/playstation-3-cloud-drive/ It would be amazing if a feature like this was added to Aurora... not only for saves... but for profiles. 10. I just finally updated my PCSX 360 emulator to 2.1.0 and I'm having an issue with the screen not fitting properly, is there a way to change the overscan of PCSXR-360?
  11. Ok so I would just like a point in the right direction in terms of what I need to start developing any form of homebrew apps or games... I have been tryna help myself by googling and from what I've gathered im only seeing stuff bout XNA Studio and i think ive seen something about a UDK, which is either a port of unreal engine specifically for developing for xbox or something another... And also ive been seeing that you will also need a devkit or at least a rgh with a devkit nand which i would pretty much like to avoid seeing as i only have 1 rgh console to play games and would not like to flash a dev nand to it.... So if u guys got anything i would like to hear...... And before you ask: 1) yes i do have some programming experience, im no expert but i would say im competent enough by my standards 2) im just exploring and experimenting for my personal gain, not looking to create any homebrew app to rival any other (cuz lets face it, this would be a bad way to start if i hoping to do something like that)
  12. Hello everyone! I have decided to release Xbox Invaders, a space invaders clone I created using Aurora influenced artwork, as a stand-a-lone game. This game was currently only available as an Easter Egg in Aurora. One reason I wanted to release the game separate from Aurora is because including it in the Aurora package unnecessarily increases the download size of Aurora in the updater and from the site. But the primary reason I wanted to release a stand-a-lone version is so it can be played by people that don't know about the Easter Egg. It will also allow you to add the game to your Aurora game list. I would like to thank everyone involved in the project or sourced assets including artwork and sound. I'd also like to thank play testers who helped to make sure everything was working correctly. Download Link: Xbox Invaders.rar
  13. I'm really curious to see where I start learning to code for 360 homebrew to make apps. I have taken a class in web programming in college (html, css) but somewhat remember some of the stuff but I did retain the ideas behind the element syntax and stuff. Which resources do I need to start? I have a 360 that I can flash rgloader to and vaguely know anything about XNA.
  14. stupid question but how do you let 360 content manager detect storage device other than internal hdd? Does it only detect hdd1? When i open up 360 content manager, only hdd1 is visible when pressing show xbox 360 hard drive. I am sure 360cm is connected to my xbox rgh. Please help
  15. With this tool you can easily mod your Wii with a Homebrew http://modmii.comuf.com/home.html The big deal is that you can still play Multiplayer via the Wiimmfi Network https://wiimmfi.de/
  16. I have begun setting up retroarch on my 360 as it seems to have the most functional emulators available for the 360 to date, a lot of the others got left in beta phase and some things do not seem to function properly or have missing adjustments and things like that. I have begun transferring my rom sets into the roms folder in there respectable folders ( roms/NES ROMS/rom sets here). i opened the retroarch folder and seen a retroarch.cfg which I opened to skim threw and see what options were able to be changed in this file, at this point i ran across this: default_rom_startup_dir = "game:" Now i know i dont run my roms from from the DVD rom which is what i am assuming the game: directory comes into play at they are located in my USB device in the following path USB0:EmulatorsRetroArch-360roms so my question about this is that if i change the "Game:" in the CFG file to "USB0:EmulatorsRetroArch-360roms" will it then take me directly to my rom set sub directory's when i choose to select my roms? Another question is about genesis plus gx and the sega cd emulation. Accordint to the NFO/Readme so as previously stated I have all my systems separated by platform then the sets contained in the appropriate platform folder, but does the BIOS file need to be located in USB0:EmulatorsRetroArch-360roms or in USB0:EmulatorsRetroArch-360romssega cd ? Im aware it say the same location as my image files but i was unsure if retroarch was intended to be set up the way i am going about things and where it would look for the BIOS file. furthermore about the sega cd emulation with retroarch is .zip supported or should they be unzipped? I beleive the last port or version i recall using of genesis plus gx they needed to be un-zipped, further more all the sega cd images i have are in BIN/CUE format which file in particular does the emulator need or does it need both files to function properly?

  20. I'm trying to play Warcraft II - The Dark Saga on PCSXR 360, there when I load a map the characters moving around leave tracers (kinda like a PC when it starts slowing down and windows/mouse leaves trails), I pause the menu and un-pause it and I can see where it was paused on the map, not sure how or if this can be fixed, does anyone have any ideas?
