I talked to the active developers about this, and they plan on putting this feature in the next release. Who knows when that will be, as from what I understand most of what they are planning on working on will be UI stuff.

I've seen this pic on Aurora Releases/Update Information - Aurora 0.5b, http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/4848-update-information-aurora-05b/ (Top Right Corner) Can we have an FPS Counter with highest, lowest and average FPS? That would be very cool!

Hello I have just installed 1TB HDD and decided to do fresh install of Aurora for the first time, because I read that FSD doesn't support covers anymore (too bad loved that Dash) I'm having a lot of issues trying to figure out how this thing even works. Unlike FSD tutorials for Aurora seem to be limited (at least that has been my experience). I can't even figure out how to switch how covers are presented from the default view to like angled or something. But most important I can't for the live of me figure out how to make Indie games work. I read that fakelive and autofake should be enabled, but once cancels the other. People keep on saying to enable TU or something, I'm still not sure what that is and where it's located. When I select Indie game I get: "Gathering Information" followed by "Applying title updates" and then ...nothing. It stays in the menu. I have read many topic and they never had a complete solution. Or at least perhaps I can't fully comprehend what it's being said. Is there any simple step by step, preferably video or with screenshot tutorial anywhere? TIA! EDIT: I have also moved all the content to folder: HDD1/Content/000000000000000/584E07D2/00000002/gameID I don't know if I'm setting the depth correctly, but it finds them no matter what depth I set.

Well lemme say it like this.. if ran on xshell it works alright, if ran in game.. could be ok, but when the system swaps stuff.. then it really errors out stuff.. haha.. meaning screen gets all messed up and everything else.. audio is crap, ect.. so yeah you are better off buying an adapter or capture card.. as the internal xb360 stuff is crap.. lol.. even on xb1, their game dvr stuff has its problems too.. lol..

Is it possible to create a plugin that streams the Xbox 360 across the network and view the stream on a PC? Which ports should be opened? Can the stream be viewed from a browser?

What good would this be? I cant see any use for knowing the framerate of a game, when there is nothing you can do to make it better. Just my thoughts. The debug builds of aurora have this, but that is because the developers can use this to fix issues. eg if a thread is messing with rendering, it will allow them to see that easier. even if it is only by a couple of frames per second. With a game, I am sure the debug builds have a similar feature, but good luck getting those, as the only people who have them are the developers, and Microsoft, who do extensive testing on the game before they allow a final release.

Yes, use 360 content manager to ftp everything in correct location..And all those guides still work.. you need tu, fakelive is on in dashlaunch, and then you run the game.. Also the indie titles have to be in the correct location.. so use 360 content manager to ftp those also

Hi If you have an iso file for disk 2, you can extract the data to xex format as opposed to GOD format. I use a program called Exiso_GUI to do this. Unfortunately I have had trouble running EXISO on some newer PC's, but it works well on my old Windows XP PC. Anyway if you extract disk 2 to XEX format instead of GOD format you will be able to access the individual DLC items separately. You can copy these to the Content/00000000000/Game_title_Id folder individually. Use XM360 directly on your JTAG to unlock any locked DLC or alternatively try Yaris Swap on a PC to unlock the DLC before you copy it over to the Content/000000000 folder. Hope this helps...

Note: that this problem seems to not happen in auroa 0.6b build so far from my testing.

You need the indie title update, which is easily found on google... And you do need fakelive on in dashlaunch for indie games to work, just like fsd.. Nothing has changed for aurora in that aspect.. And not use the freestyle plugin, as it causes problems

Probably not, as it uses the same ripping function that is in the kernel, and I dont think that ignores it either. Creating an extracted rip script is on my list of to do things, and it will give you the option to remove the $systemupdate, and og xbox system update files. I am going to finish my content downloader/uploader script first. Almost done with the XUI part(Have a couple of final touches, and then the skin part) Then I will get started on the script. Probably be a couple of days, but I figure I will have the first version out by the end of the week. Still have to figure out where I am going to upload the data.

WOW! This update looks very good! Some of the new functions are: Passcode Security You can now set a profile specific passcode and special permissions for different types of actions in Aurora. Cover Downloader A new menu entry in the Game Details allows you to select a specific Cover from XboxUnity. Game Wallpapers Many of you probably know that while you are in the game details for a specific game, you can press the 'BACK' button to view the background with no UI blocking your view; however, we have now added the ability to set that artwork as your dash background. Asset Importer Assets (Covers, Backgrounds, Descriptions, etc) can now be imported from the import folder on the Xbox360 harddriveWe have added a method to import assets from an import folder on your Xbox360 harddrive, allowing you to update, replace or add images and text to your games library and fill out your game details without relying on an internet connection. Screen Captures Another menu entry in the Game Details allows you to view your Freestyle Plugin screen captures from within Aurora. From this menu you can even set your screen capture as your default Aurora background. Plugin Settings Plugin settings are now in one menu entry in the Settings Menu. The settings are also rearranged to make it more user friendly. Utility Scripts The biggest feature added to 0.6b is the possibility to create "Utility Scripts". Utility scripts are self-contained LUA applications that can be launched from within Aurora. A repo browser is included that lets you download some scripts from GitHub, including a Disc to GOD script and a Weather script.

Well, I didn't give up. I was going to download the DLCs separately but decided to attack this first from another angle I want to share this in case that anyone here has the same problem. This procedure applies to games like GOTY versions or Complete editions where the DLCs are released as an additional disk separated from the main game. Here is what I did to make it work: 1. Use ISO2GOD to convert Disk 1 (the main game) to GOD format and transfer to the XBox 360 as usual. 2. Use Xbox Backup Creator or any other tool like it to extract disk 2. Do not convert it to GOD. Look into the extracted files and find the folder CONTENT\0000000000000000\FFED2000\FFFFFFFF\. This folder contains all the DLCs. 3. Transfer all the contents from this FFFFFFFF folder to the Xbox into HDD1\CONTENT\0000000000000000\(GAME_TITLE_ID)\00000002\ 4. Play your DLCs The problem in my case was that at the beginning I had converted Disk 2 to GOD. I got also confused by the FFED2000 folder when I later decided to use Xbox Backup Creator and I was just using it instead of 00000002. That folder structure must be totally ignored. The option to play the DLCs got finally enabled on the main menu. I hope this help others.
