I don't understand why people are in such a rush to update. Are you certain it's a system update and not just a game update or something?
-
What are you using to format the drive? Try using this great tool.
-
You can install the game if the hard drive is formatted with the console. You can "Configure" the hard drive to give it 32GB of console storage, but bear in mind that you won't be able to access this data in Windows unless you use a tool such as Party Buffalo Drive Explorer.
-
I am sure you can also disable HTTP authentication .
-
Why don't you just use XeBuild's Update Mode? This will identify the image type, read the image, build a new image and write it back over the LAN. You must make sure UPDSERV is running on the console or this will not work.
-
Use the file manager in FSD to transfer files from a USB stick to the internal HDD. I use FTP with FileZilla to transfer content to my console.
-
As Swizzy said, let the console create a 32GB partition which will be reserved for XBOX 360 storage (gamer profiles, game saves and DLC). You won't be able to access the XBOX partition in Windows directly - you will need to use an application like Party Buffalo Drive Explorer or FATXplorer to get access to those files.

Did you add a path for homebrew? Is the scan depth correct? Have you tried manually adding the cover art using the FSD Web UI?

Does it always take time for rooms to show on system link?
BL4K3Y replied to jeffmangum's topic in Support
You need to join a server/room on your console first (with the LiNK dashboard showing) and then scan for games under "Join Game". Pressing the "X" button on your controller will refresh the list. -
There is no way to flash the DVD-ROM without opening the console. You also need a compatible SATA chipset to do it.

Use the XeBuild Update Mode to update the console to 16547 and it will install this data for you if the 16547 $systemupdate folder is present in XeBuild's 16547 folder.

Build the image with "noremap" enabled in XeBuild options and let Simple NAND Flasher remap those bad blocks for you. If you tell XeBuild to build a "system-only" image for a BB Jasper, your MU data will not be touched.

Make sure you set "hddalive" to true and set a time for "hddtimer" (the default is 210). You also need to create and put an empty text file ("alive.txt") on your hard drive.

The CPU_RST wire will affect glitch times, but this patch takes effect after the console has glitched (when no handshake has taken place between your display and the console). The patch simply allows your console to boot without waiting for the "HDCP" signal from the display. This means your console will boot up with the display off or with the HDMI cable disconnected from the console. I don't use the patch because I don't need it, but it would be useful in a situation where your display does not "handshake" properly (if at all) with the console.

Look on JQE's Marketplace and XBUC. FSD gets it TUs from JQE's marketplace I think.

Error when building ecc file for corona v1
BL4K3Y replied to proteus2's topic in XeBuild & XeBuild GUI
You can not create an ECC image from that NAND image. Write the pre-compiled Corona ECC image to your console's NAND - you can find more details here. -
I'm pretty sure IE on the XBOX 360 requires an XBL Gold account.

Use Party Buffalo Drive Explorer.

iso2god not running with windows8's .net 4.5
BL4K3Y replied to Fellype Nascimento's topic in Software
The application was written for the .NET 3.5 framework which means it won't work on the .NET 4.5 framework. You need to install .NET 3.5 for Windows 8. -
Try reducing the scan depth by 1 so that FSD can locate default.xex. You might need to clear/reset the FSD database first.
-
What Swizzy said applies to XBOX 360 HDDs. I'm sure a PS3 will accept any hard drive whether it's stock or modified.
-
Doesn't a DevKit record gameplay, Swizzy? I'm thinking RGLoader could allow him to do this.

ISO2GOD supports XBOX Classic games, but I have found that it sometimes has issues when extracting and getting information from the game's XBE. However, the games (when converted) seem to play fine.
