Trying to record AVI to DVD Recorder Through XMplayer
scorpNZ replied to gangrel_1313's topic in LibXenon
laptop should be connected directly to the tv & bypass the rest -
Felida you are correct on 3 Only thing i'll add is for op to read tuts on how to install multi disc games as not all can be installed the same way & be more discrete on where you get games from, mine are all store bought..lol..

If the external is larger than the internal switch them There's no other housings i'd recommend apart from an old one from STLab.I had a look for some black cyclones it appears there are none. However the type of housing is similar to this in link below,it's fully strippable, the difference is black cyclones can take IDE or SATA as i mentioned.....I'm not recommending start spending money on something that may/may not work since the hard drive itself is USB 3.0 interface, supposedly backwards compatible. It would be better to try a friends spare external housing instead. There's also a thread around here that has external drives that work, the latest seagate 2.5" 2tb expansions work fine as do the early one Model SRD00F Part Number 1D6APB-500 these drives seem to work ok as well, this came from a seagate expansion 2.5 Samsung ST2000LM003 2.5 hdd http://st-lab.com/productf.asp

If the drive isn't new i'd plonk it into a usb 2.0 housing like a black cyclone (i use them for testing IDE & SATA drives as they're consistent).Even the seagate usb 3.0 2.5 expansions i have can take more than a minute to be seen by the jasper or falcon,if it all,i've even rebooted while leaving the drive attached,it does eventually show up.

If you can hear the drive spinning it's unlikely to be a power issue

The titles are separated into specific category's only after you hit the b button in the bottom screen shot, then place a tick in the appropriate box,i'm pretty sure that's right ,there maybe other settings there as well, however it's not like fsd which has separate cats so to speak, someone will confirm,i haven't got time right now to muck around on the 360 < edit:i mean my own 360 -
Good to see xyz is up & running, all hope wasn't lost "haha" (in between the quotes was plagiarized from felida). At least that some goods news this year, there's only Bowie's passing to mourn

Another member mentioned logging into your router & enabling dmz for your xbox (place your xbox ip into it,i've opened ports as well in the virtual server like normal).I have yet to attempt to see if it works as i was originally able to pass all before a change of modem/router & type of dsl connection

You'd need mediainfo on a pc to see what codecs & bitrates etc were used on any non playing videos then compare that with the supported formats the default xbox media player uses.then convert accordingly edit:imo it's time to get an external dvd burner & be done with this shenanigans -

I'm wondering who was the idiot who copied protected an avi wtf !,that's worse than a pass worded rar...lol..DVDFAB 8.0 works well on xp,crashes on win 7 64bit. For future reference videohelp.com will pretty much solve any issue or perhaps afterdawn.com member attar at AD knows his stuff (just don't say i said so it'll go to his head..hahaha) -

Boot back to fsd & delete aurora then download another copy from the net by ethernet not wifi on the pc.Once downloaded use a thumb drive to transfer the new copy assuming your thumb drive or any external hdd is any good & doesn't have bad blocks I'd attempt booting aurora from a known good external device,if it works but won't on the 360 internal hdd assume bad hdd- 35 replies

Assuming it can which i doubt unless you have a mac with a matching version of vlc installed 32 or 64bit (unless using an older version),the only way to find out is try it.Plenty of tuts for handbrake on the net or in menu bar under "help".You will most probably need a preset to get it to output avi assuming it even can since it only outputs to mp4/mkv container personally i'd most probably use dvdfab 8,it'll strip & re convert on the fly,any vid converter may do it -
Did you search the site as i recall someone asked about last played game
-
Search site, numerous filters & other stuff have been uploaded over the months. There was a package upload as well but can't remember who did,was most probably swizzy

When setting content & it's location etc you have option boxes that can be ticked to specify manually what that content is,i assume that's what your after as this should separate your hb from your emu & have them show up in the correct section edit: what quattro said about in named folders then set the content as i described -
See if file copy/paste can do it or just put fsd anywhere & use that instead
-
Your post is vague to say the least,so start at the begining -Were burnt games ever working before -What dash were you on & did you update & loose the ability play copied afterwards -who made the iso's -what firmware you running on the dvd drive -what games are being burnt 7gb or 8 -if 7 or 8gb what discs you using & made where -what burn program -what burner & method to burn said 8gb -what speed is burn I think that about covers it

see no reason why linking can't be done between modded & un-modded consoles local system link i think would be done in game,it may/not be necessary to use nxe on both consoles

best way to upgrade to larger internal hard drive in rgh
scorpNZ replied to jrok96's topic in Other topics
Remove the 120 hdd unless you have a minispy. Connect hdd to pc & copy it's contents, wouldn't hurt to create an image with party buffalo as well (360 content manager can be used to extract files). Place 120gb hdd back into it's case & use the 360 to move the profile to flash drive (or get another 360 hdd case). now replace the 120gb hdd with the larger one & format it the rest you can sort out for yourself there's tuts here you should already have read, don't forget the compatibility partition if you intend to play 1st gen xbox games
