  1. I understand. Well, i guess i'll have to wait until you have the time to work on it... thanks anyway. Regarding the Dashlaunch issue, when i try to open the 3.16 Installer, it throws me off to the Microsoft dash and shows up this error message : "The game couldn't start, try downloading the game again, for more help visit www.xbox.com/support". Tried with FSD, Aurora and Xex Menu and got the same result. I don't know what unofficial kernel you are referring to, as far as i know my kernel is official, i just downloaded the proper NXE version and updated my kernel to it. I don't have any dashlaunch plugins running, you looked at my launch.ini log yourself, there were no plugins loaded. I browsed your tutorial, when i updated my kernel i did exactly as it says, incluiding Simple Nand Flasher, only with J-Runner, which is integrated with xeBuild as far as i know.
  2. Oh, i understand. Anyway, you still haven't answered my question, is there anyway to make the plugin work, other than looking at the offset, and if not, is there an option to use a replacement plugin in the meantime, which will function the same, or is the "default" freestyle plugin the only plugin availible ? It's unfortunate you don't have the time to work on it right now, i'll try and figure things out by myself for the meantime, any suggestions would be appreciated. I'd be happy if you could check this out for me when you're availible, and update me on what you found, maybe you could PM me or something... thanks. On another note, i'm still not able to run the 3.16 Dashlaunch Installer, as i stated in one of my previous posts, still getting an error message. Do you know of any way to fix this issue ? Anyway, thanks for all the help, i really appreciate it.
  3. Got it, thanks for the explaination. Is LINK the current online method or is there a different one used in Aurora ? Anyway, i would still like to play online and take screenshots from time to time, and stuff like that, so isn't there anyway to make the plugin work ? and if not, isn't there any other plugin i could use to replace the "default" freestyle plugin, that will function the same as it does ? Anyway, i would still like to try and figure out what the crash is caused by, if it's ok with you, for the plugin and in order to prevent future problems that may occur because of it. Thanks. P.S - when you said the top of the files, you meant the top of the text in the files right ? because it does look about the same. Anyway, thanks for all the help, it is really appreciated.
  4. I checked it and the top of the filles does look the same. Anyway, i think we've managed to locate the problem, i deleted the freestyle plugin from the plugin directories of both FSD and Aurora, rebooted my console and it stopped freezing up. It seems to be working fine now. I tried to work with it for about a day and other than one forced reboot during a game encountered no problems. I noticed in Aurora that when i check the dash info in the plugin line it says ???... is it ok ? is it safe to work with it that way ? Also when i browsed the settings there was one setting that defines the freestyle plugin to launch at startup, should i undo that setting or leave it as it is ? Furthermore, what is this plugin for ? is it really needed ? is it safe to work without it in FSD and Aurora ? and if it is needed, is there any workaround we can try to make it work ? If not, can i replace it with another plugin that will fulfill its functions ? Sorry but i'm not really an expert on these kind of stuff, my knowledge is kind of lacking, an explaination would be appreciated. Thanks.
  5. It freezes up when i'm trying to access the "Settings" option. I deleted the files and tried to repeat the same action and it indeed created these files. Anyway, thanks, i'll be waiting for your update. MaesterRowen - thanks for the tip, i'll give it a try.
  6. Sorry for my earlier posts, i didn't know how to use the tags correctly. Anyway, here are the files : Callstack 1) Callstack 2) Callstack 3) I also found a last file, i don't know what it means, i'm pretty sure it's related to the debug log, but anyway, maybe you could look into it :
  7. When i updated my kernel the lastest dashlaunch version availible was 3.15, but it's pretty current, so is my kernel version, so like Swizzy said, i don't think the problem i'm having is related. Anyway, waiting for updates. Thanks.
  8. OK, i'll fix the stuff you suggested. I hope i'm posting the right info, this is what i found : Crash Log 1) Crash Log 2) Crash Log 3) Debug Log)
  9. Not that i know of, i haven't defined anything anyway. Here is the launch.ini log, maybe you could recognize if something is wrong :
  10. Oh, you meant that i should change the path in the launch.ini file and define Aurora as the default dash ? i know how to do that. Anyway i downloaded the latest installer, uploaded it to my console and tried opening it, but it threw me off to the Microsoft dash and popped up an error message saying "The game couldn't start, try downloading the game again, for more help visit www.xbox.com/support". I tried putting the Aurora folder in my root like you suggested with only the one folder which is containing the system files and tried launching it and got the same result. I also managed to understand how to get Xex Menu working on my console, opened it and tried launching Aurura thorugh it but got the same result - it just keeps freezing up when i'm trying to access the "Settings" option. I'm at a loss here guys, please help me find a solution. Thanks.
  11. I tried to transfer it using FTP and manually with a disk on key, both methods concluded with the same result. I Haven't tried booting it from a source other than FSD, i'm not really an expert on outer file managers like Xex Menu, etc... a guide would be appriciated, thanks. Same, i don't know how to do that, a guide would be appriciated, thanks.
  12. Tried it, same result, even through a disk on key. :\
  13. Hi to all. I'm new to this site, and i have an issue in which i need assistance. I've been using an rgh'd console for a few years now, been using FSD wIth little to no issues. Yesterday i uploaded the Aurora dashboard to my hdd, latest version - 0.5b, put it on my root and launched it. The dash seemingly works fine except from the "Settings" option, when i try to access it the console freezes up and i have to shut it down and turn it back on. I tried to change the folder's path, no luck, tried to change the folder's name, no luck, tried to disconnect my ethernet cable, same result, it just keeps freezing up. What am i doing wrong ? i don't understand. I should mention that i'm launching the dash through my old FSD dash, Microsoft dash is current. Any help would be appriciated, thanks in advance.
