  1. It's something with the exact timings
  2. cpu_rst is one likely candidate for a shielded wire, the other could be post_out
  3. If the connections were wrong it wouldn't boot at all, mostly it's related to how the wires were pulled exactly or the chip when it works sometimes and sometimes not Sent from my SM-G903F
  4. You are free to upload whatever you want that isn't copyright protected (or you have permission to do so) and of course within legal bounds, just make sure it's clearly stated that we do not offer support for it, unless you, AxR or others wish to handle that...Sent from my SM-G903F
  5. Would probably be helpful if you would post some information about what you have in the folder scanned for games as something there is likely causing the system to crash...
  6. Sorry, but it's not possible in the current version of Aurora, it will probably be added to the next update tho Sent from my SM-G903F
  7. It's more common with wifi thoSent from my SM-G903F
  8. the B in the versions stands for Beta... Nobody said 0.7b will be over a year out... it's a pita for us to have people beg us for updates too We're not going to release a hotfix, we're far into 0.7b development already...
  9. Well, it's different for each game, these 2 particular games you mentioned both have content installers, they don't work with Aurora the same way others do that just switch to the next disc... (those can be done by putting them with "Disc #" in the name (if memory serves me right))
  10. Use some electrical tape or something to cover the lights on the HDD if they're annoying... There is no way to have the console turn off the power to the USB ports when not in use i'm afraid... :/ The alternative is to just ignore the bad string message...
  11. It's just how it's structured... GTA5 has the data stored on the disc ready to just copy 'n' paste while Forza 3/4 don't, there might be another method to do it, but... honestly... if you like the game(s) you should just buy them... What do you think happens if nobody buys games? you think they'll keep coming for free?
  12. Read what i said one more time and you'll see the solution, it's right there infront of you...
  13. Yes, XBLS stands for "XBox Live Stealth" and is the bullshit that we don't appreciate around here...
  14. That's because Disc 2 is a content installer, and Aurora doesn't know that "F4D2" means "Forza 4 Disc 2" You need to get a retail copy of that particular game in order to install the extra content... GTA 5 is also a content installer on the second disc... that particular one can be installed manually by copying the files from the disc iirc
  15. Not really, it's baseversion that really matters, and... some games can use DLC from other regions just fine...However, if the DLC is a language specific one, there is no way to have it in english unless that's included in the binaries... Sent from my SM-G903F
  16. Yes, it's an issue with the server which i haven't gotten around to fixing yet, the issue is with the host provider for whatever reason only allowing literal webbrowsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE etc.) All others error out with 403...Sent from my SM-G903F
  17. It doesn't matter if you do the avatar update while in freeboot mode or retail mode, as long as they're both on the same kernel version in the end...Sent from my SM-G903F
  18. It means you didn't copy them to the correct one, or you didn't restart the plugin/console after making the changes... it could also be that they never got replaced because they were in use... try unloading the plugin before replacing the files...
  19. Just follow my guide linked in my signature below and update your freeboot kernel first, once done, switch over to your retail nand and you should be good to go... Otherwise, if it don't boot into dash, just rebuild the nand and flash via XeLL with the updated CFLDV... a way to make that permanent is to simply blow all LDV fuses (update 32 times i think it is, this is easy, dump your current nand, update, write back the current nand, repeat... this should of course be done on Retail with a USB stick to avoid getting banned)
  20. They're already there: bool Kernel.SetDate(unsigned Year, unsigned Month, unsigned Day); bool Kernel.SetTime(unsigned Hour, [unsigned Minute, unsigned Second, unsigned Millisecond]);
  21. Try disabling your antivirus, might helpSent from my SM-G903F
  22. Personally i recommend reading the tutorial i wrote myself, and the reason you fail is likely because you attempt to use the CLI tool and not the GUI...Sent from my SM-G903F
  23. Same method as with 0.5b... download the new 0.6b english xml, update your existing one by using the translation tool (load english as original and your existing as translation then save, the saved file now is updated to 0.6b and you can compile it... new strings are in english, old are in your existing language)Sent from my SM-G903F
  24. I wrote a tool that does this some time back, it needs to erase all the license keys for it to workSent from my SM-G903F
