Ok.. it's hard to explain per say.. But you have to pick an address that is setup within the router.. If your router is setup for 192.168.0.1, then you can't use 10.10.0.1 setup for Xbox.. Now, since you're using a laptop to bridge the connections.. that creates a whole mess off other issues.. and still.. wifi on 360 reaaaaallly sucks.. get you an Ethernet cord.. Edit: Check out portforward.com for guides how to do that.. they have like 98% of routers on there as well

You have to set the static ip on the Xbox itself.. under network settings.. if the settings are set for automatic, then yes your Xbox ip will change every time

Title updates can not be renamed.. Tu and dlc can only go into Content/0000000000000000/titleid/offerid/ Unless the tu is a cache tu, then it will go into the cache location.. Can you rename dlc? I'm gonna say yes as I've done custom Skyrim and custom Minecraft dlc.. And both had regular names

Your wire tips are drastically way to long.. Also.. You should try changing the ohms point.. 10/100.. I had one that wouldnt boot, changed it to 10 and instaboots for ever
