  1. LiNK works through the Freestyle plugin. The plugin is used in both Aurora and FSD... For now. There's a post about LiNK's successor that's being worked on called Nova, check it out to get up to date. Once Nova is released, I believe LiNK will no longer work in FSD. NOVA - The Future of LiNK
  2. Nice score! That ought to take up a few rainy days, lolz. That combo console is something else, I didn't really hear him say how he got all three running at the same time, didn't seem like there was a switch or anything. I guess whatever cart/CD is in loads up the display to the monitor output. Probably why he didn't load a CD while his cart was in, lmao. I'd search for more info on it, but i'm currently setting up my movie library on Xbox One... Plex was taken off PlexPass today so free for all. I don't like using Plex, but It's the best option for DLNA on the One at the moment. Really wish M$ would just give us a Samba server...
  3. Yeah, i'll sit on it for a while unless I hear more. If they don't come back i'll make a new post and share it. I just don't like to post their stuff that's hidden from GP and only for registered users.
  4. I have the original trainer template as well as AxR's Search Tool Beta (AxR360 64bit and 64bit debug). Trainer tutorial videos 1-5 with readme's, XYZ engine and Aurora trainer dat tool. Not sure if it would be OK to post up any of that stuff though without permission. After all, they might be coming back... don't know. edit: Screenshot of files
  5. Not sure how determined you are to play your media on the 360, but if you had a dual nand, you could install the plex app on the retail side. It's probably as close to xbmc/Kodi as you'll get. Biggest difference with Plex is that you have to serve your library from another computer, that's why I don't like it.
  6. You're not going to be able to get XBMC or Kodi running on the 360. Sorry to say. I'm partial to raspberry Pi 2 for running Kodi. It has a 1GHz Processor and 1GB of RAM to handle some of the most taxing skins out there... AeonMQ6, Aeon Nox etc. I can usually put one together for about $70-80 USD, including case, hdmi, SD card, power supply etc. Not bad for a $35 credit card sized Linux computer. I run it with OSMC and it handles all my media in full 1080p glory. They also have a $5 model available called Raspberry Pi Zero, just less memory (512MB) and ports, but half the size. Pi's are a little more DIY, so don't expect an Apple TV that just works when you plug it in. But if you want Kodi, then you already want something beyond what ATV can offer (except Netflix, lolz). It's not too hard to set up, but if you're not up to it, just get a Roku, Chromecast, Amazon Firestick, newer ATV, etc. For your cover, Unity shows 2 covers available for Sega Bass Fishing, maybe go to the site and push it to your Xbox. Or try to download missing assets from the content section in Aurora. If all else fails use Swizzy's asset editor and manually upload it to your box.
  7. Yep, and I wasn't even a big tech geek back then, I was out skateboarding pools/halfpipes. But Late 80's I was into C64/VIC32, and we even had a friend build us a custom made from scratch Quantel PC with our first modem. Can you say "Choose your own adventure." Didn't even touch a computer again till mid 90's when it seemed to me like modems were magically transformed from a cradle to PCI card.
  8. Hey man, it's still better than having to rent a VCR tape or buy a magazine for your fix, lmao. Kids these days don't know how good they have it.
  9. Might be an Avatar update, it says current 17489, required 17497, so... I'm assuming you're stealth, your kv was probably registered in the beta program. RMS does't support stealth though.
  10. In before people start ripping you a new one for not searching... At all Read this thread COD ADVANCED WARFARE MULTIPLAYER PROBLEM :'(
  11. I generally didn't have too many issues with trainers from XPG or 360Haven, etc. But there's a few things to be aware of... Not all trainers are created equal. There are so many different trainers out there on the "other" sites, made by so many different trainer dev's, that it can be confusing how to launch/use them, unless you jotted down some notes or remember how they worked, lmao. Aurora made all this so much much smoother by sticking with the trainer engine that I believe AxR and Paracrypt put together. Nothing is stopping people from using the older trainers, but the Aurora one's take the confusion out of it all. But if you insist on using the other trainers, make sure you read the release threads for them to understand any quirks with using them.
  12. Your XPG trainers aren't going to show up in Aurora, only trainers that are actually for Aurora. Non-Aurora trainers usually work one of two ways. Put them in the actual game's folder or put them anywhere else (like a Trainer folder you create). When you launch the trainer (using file manager and selecting launcher.xex) one of two things will happen. Either the game will launch after the trainer loads (if you put the trainer in the game's folder along side the game's default.xex) or it will return you to the dashboard so that you may launch the game manually (if the trainer is not next to the game's default.xex), since you just loaded the trainer into memory. But to make it easy, just go to XYZmods and browse the Aurora specific trainers. These are the only ones that will show up in Aurora trainer section, as long as you put them in the Aurora/Trainers/ folder. Obviously check that they match your TitleID and MediaID and TU#.
  13. S.H.I.E.L.D. DEEP BLUE SKIN (AURORA 0.5B) BY SM0K3 TR4C3R (BASED ON DARKSIDE BY MATTEITA) I also shared a quick video of it on my setup here... http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/6092-seamless-audio-loop-question/?p=51631 and my custom coverflow here... http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/6092-seamless-audio-loop-question/?p=51674
  14. I don't think there's a built in way like FSD had where it displayed it on the main screen, but with only 2 button presses, "Back" then "A" to select the file manager, it will display all that info... You can view it over FTP too, but you probably have to specifically tell your FTP app to calculate it. From what I hear, it sounds like 0.6b will have the ability to display it with its utility scripts.
  15. Sorry, I've been through threads in 3 or 4 different languages and can't see a resolution jump out. I mentioned before that maybe you should try to find a different version of the game (different MediaID). Not sure what else you can try.
  16. Ok, thanks, i'll remember that. Never even looked in the cache folder to see the difference before, haha.
  17. Weird, when opening the page the first one looked ok, but the second one was expanded. After tapping the second spoiler, it collapsed properly, but then wouldn't show anything when expanded again. Maybe it's an issue with Tapatalk... It's far from perfect.
  18. Maybe upgrade from FSD to Aurora too, then you could pull one of the 2 TU's from Unity directly from the game info screen. If you still want to do it manually, maybe try putting TU in HDD1:/Content/000.../<TitleID>/000B0000/ instead of cache.
  19. Wow, nice work jackhulk. BTW Swizzy, whatever you did to the spoiler tags, it doesn't collapse on Tapatalk, leaving a very long page to scroll.
  20. Did you attempt to enable the TU since you can see it listed now? Pressing "A" should enable/disable it.
  21. If Aurora already detected it, maybe you already installed it to the internal HDD. My understanding is that Aurora won't have the ability to read from Content/000... on the external until 0.6b is released, but the console will still look there since the path is supported by the kernel. Might want to check for 45410997 in both internal and external Content/000... locations. No need to have it duplicated taking up space. I just don't see how Aurora would list it if it's in a path that Aurora doesn't look in. But if you do see the TU listed, does that mean you tried enabling it?
  22. I think you made the right OS choice for a new Linux user coming from Windows. Ubuntu would have been a good choice coming from Mac. Make the transition to something more advanced when you're ready, or just install Virtual machines to play with more advanced systems as you get bolder. I found that most of what I do on my Mac is quite manageable from VM's, if I need something that only Linux can provide, I can just create a new VM.
  23. Press start, then tab over to plugin. Select unload to make a temporary unload or untick the box to make sure it doesn't load through a reboot. You can always check if its loaded in Aurora, by pressing the back button on the main screen, it will show the loaded modules on the left. edit: I had another read of this thread, and noticed that post #3 you said you used Horizon to install it to your external HDD. If I'm not mistaken, Aurora doesn't look there yet, since it's a newer kernel feature that was released after Aurora 0.5b came out. You might want to try to move the TU and any other DLC to the internal. Since the MediaID doesn't match, it still might not find it, but it's something else to try.
