I've just got my jtag up and running about 2 weeks ago. I finally got around to trying to set up link successfully. I have a phat xbox and I connected my xbox to my computer via an ethernet cable. I'm using internet connection sharing. I've gone to my router's port forwarding section and decided to set start port at 1000 and end port to 10000 and the IP address the same as my desktop i have my xbox hooked up to, because someone said that it would remedy the issue. The xbox verify link comes up all passed. I can download cover art and FTP to my console. I also set up port forwarding under the advanced settings of internet connection sharing on windows 7. I can see the lobbies and the people to join, but I always get an unable to connect. I've tried GOD version and Disc version. I think i've done all I can do. Any suggestions? Oh I also have the latest kernel, dashlaunch, and avatar data. and I'm on title update 18 for COD: BO2.

Hey guys, First off, great site... Been on here for a few days now and I'm excited to have found such a helpful forum, they are hard to come by. I've never been one to create new threads, but couldn't find an answer to this after hours of searching. I've connected the RGH Slim via FTP and everything is showing up except the drive (3tb WD) labeled /Usb1 with all the games. I would prefer not to have to transfer from /Usb0 > /Usb1 everytime I send a game over. Any ideas? The drive does show up on the xbox itself though, loads games etc. Using Aurora btw.

For example, i can connect to rooms in Black Ops II, but there is no servers in server list in game. What can be wrong?

Since some people seem to like my old dosbox/win95 launcher and myself and some pals are having a retro game night soon, I decided to whip up this little app to make our DOS a bit more fun. This is an application to aid in using the Xbox360 port of DOSBox Anybody that has ever used DOSBox on their Jtag/RGH/XDK know that its kind of a pain to copy each .config file every time you want to launch a game (if you want it to auto execute that is) ,, this app solves the issue Features: -Lists all game folders in the "DOS" directory -On launch, the selected games .config file is copied to app root for proper auto execution. -App auto selects "regular" or "dev" version based on the kernel running on the x360 (only dif is devkits have mouse support, see readme.nfo) Usage: -Add your game folders to the "DosBox 360 BrowserV0.01\DOSXBox360\DOS" directory, ensure your folder includes an edited .config file for proper auto execution *NOTE: Game folders must be 8 characters or less, otherwise you will get errors when loading game!!! Here is a .config example,,edit your games folder name and .exe name [autoexec] # Lines in this section will be run at startup. @ECHO OFF MOUNT C GAME:\DOS -freesize 500 C: cls cd C:\DOOM cls DOOM.exe From now on you can launch the game from the browser without having to copy or edit any more files, or type any boot commands in dosbox! Seeing that I cannot include any game content as examples, if you have any issues getting your games .config files setup, or any other issues please feel free to ask enjoy, begal DosBox 360 BrowserV0.01.rar I take no credit for dosbox or the 360 port of it, credits to the authors of them both, I only made this browser to aid in using the program! Hi, Aurora can't find the TUs for some games. With Hitman Absolution (MediaID equals to 232CAACD) Aurora cannot find the title updates, but on Unity website there are some. Should I install them manually, or this is a bug?

Hello. I know that there is a "mod" in aurora and fsd that lets u play online ia system link and i have that,thats not what im asking. Internet in my country is kind of shitty, so gameplay lags. I have 2 jtags at home. When mu friends come and we want to play cod zombies for example splitscreen supports only 2 players, so i want to play system link. But since my wifi is shit, it would lag. So my question is can i do the normal system link?(plug the ethernet cable in each other and play?) thanks in advance.

Ahh gotcha, until recently playing around with this port of dosbox the last time I had any toying with DOS games was in the late 80's in high school LOL, I'll have to have a poke around and see what I can come up with that may give some more options, thanks for the suggestions on that

What format that should be the file content to burn into cd disk ZIP file or just the folder?

In 20 years you may be able to stream the games through the browser

XBOne games will never work on the 360. Original Xbox games work to a degree. As for games like titan fall, destiny, or the elder scrolls online the have no built in system link option, and require a live connection to play. So you will not get support on these forums for those games on a Jtag/rgh system, as that would require XBLSE, which is not supported on this site.

It's essentially the same thing as a usb wifi dongle, however, it's specially designed for use with Xbox 360, it might work with just about any wifi that has the same chipset, but there are no guarantees...

pingpatch is enabled devlink is disabled. fakelive is disabled as well if that has anything to do with it. i have a full strength signal to my computer and i have a 50mb/s download speed and like 25mb/s upload speed so i know i'm golden there. is it just hard in general to actually join a game with someone? I've tried like 20 different times with different lobbies.

You would get unrestricted access when you hack the machine, otherwise you're restricted by Microsoft in what you can do...

Is it possible to make a xex file (or implement it in Aurora) to change the resolution of your xbox360 within Aurora without the need of switching to NXE everytime? The reason i ask this is because when i play my xbox originals i switch to 480p so i have widescreen (fullscreen) on all games.

Hi All Im fairly new to Jtag and have'nt yet used my console to connect to the internet. All I want to do is use it for streaming videos. How do i go about changing my settings to make sure that my device will connect. The console picks up the wifi and allows me to insert my passwork but then it fails to connect to the internet. Thats as far as ive been able to get. Im not sure what information you will need from me to give me the correct advice. Please note that I am not all clued up with the "scientific" words you all use. Thanks in advance.

Well when I tried to re flash my kernel, I could dump my nand ok but after I had used xellbuild and built a new nand every time I went to press a to flash it, it juSt kicked me out to nxe. I gave it a few tries and it was the same each time. I then did some googling. Sorry if I've offended mate, that wasn't my intention and your help is always appreciated

Yes, a JTAG can do everything a retail console can (except for go on live) the same goes for RGH... There are however cases where the installer messed up and the dvd isn't working the way it should... You can install games with F3 to your hdd, you can also download title updates using the built in TU manager
