There is a tool in the SDK for changing / creating an nxeart file. In the documentation it explains how to do that. As for adding covers, In F3 we had custom sections for covers we read from nxeart, I'm not sure if we ever implented that in Aurora as well.

If you have a folder with a lot of titles removed, you can also delete and re-add the scanpath for the folder you cleaned up. This will however also delete all the covers/screenshots/etc and they will have to be downloaded again.

as far as i know it doesnt matter if they are in the same folder. and just to be sure, you are running f3plugin right?

We get the device serial, and if in this case the enclosure provides it, and they are not unique, there is not much we can do. You can't really compare it to xexmenu a Aurora is way more advanced. We use it to detect what titles to show and what not when you have the drive connected or disconnected. I can only advice to replace one of the enclosures with another brand that generates a different serial. The devices should not have the same one, so thats an issue with the device.

The bad string is defined in Aurora, and is used when a locale string is not available. I assume you have a crash before that part even. Best guess is download the complete package and put it on an usb stick with a launch.ini pointing to that new install.

nice layouts! I think something is wrong with v2 though, they contain our default layouts, not the ones you show in the screenshots (matrix, star wars, etc)

That webui is part of freestyle plugin, not aurora. The information it shows is only about the currently launched title. If you launch a game and check the webui then it will show that games achievements. Thnx for all the feedback, we will look into the other issues

you could add a custom script tag to all the scanpaths you want for your kids, and then create a lua filter for that script tag Just to be clear, the webui you see now, is based in the freestyleplugin. It has nothing to do with aurora, but also not with F3. F3 has its own webui that allowed changing covers.In that regard a NOVA webui would be the same as the freestyle plugin webui, it would not have access to the Aurora covers. Aurora would need its own webui for that. We will see what to do about it in a future release. I totally agree! I have been working on a new template that would match Aurora's style (like Aurora's own cover, or the one i made for dashlaunch 3), I have been short on time lately though. I will put this back on my list.

you can also just add DVD as scanpath.... it wont update when you insert a new disc, but during the session you can use it with title updates. when using another disc you ened to delte and re-enter the scan path though

It used to be done through the website, however i don't think it is implemented in the new unity site. I will discuss it with the rest of the team.

for most people it is just getting used to, if you never use F3 anymore, you get used to it pretty quick on the other hand, everybody has his/her preferences, and people making their own skins is the best way to go (we can;t build in every single option ) thanks for this!

Saw it, tnx a bunch! as for your request, dpad up/down is already used in multi row cover layouts. We have had a nifty filter system planned for a while now, it is still being designed. It's a bigger change, but we'll get it in there!

That is because currently we use 'AND' for filters, 'OR' will be available in the future. You can create a custom script that does '360 OR arcade' for now.
