noob here looking for help with transferring games to hdd
Prayer replied to Extreme4Real36's topic in Games
You have two windows. The left one and the right one. On the left window you should open the USB stick and on the right window your HDD. Select the folder from the USB (don't enter it) then hold RB an press A. That will copy the files from the USB to the HDD. -

What is the path where you're trying to copy the game? -

That's normal. Just copy the folder with the extracted files to your HDD, add the path to that folder and do a manual scan. -

That's a really nice and Noob friendly tutorial. Keep up the good work!

Format a USB to Fat32 partition, copy the game to the USB, plug it in your Xbox, transfer it from the USB to the HDD via FSD's File Manager or Xexmenu. -
Yes.

I'm sorry to hear that. I've been reading about Xkey and it seems it emulates the DVD drive, and since the ISO is incomplete due to the fact that you've ripped it I don't see how it might work with Xkey.
-
I don't know on what principle does the Xkey work but you could compress your game folder to an ISO image with Winrar. You can not burn the game so I'm not sure the ISO will work with Xkey. Give it a try and see what happens.

You can download it via the "Manage Title Updates" option when you press Y on a selected game. After the TU are downloaded activate the latest TU by selecting it and pressing A.
-
You need the latest TU for a DLC to work.
-
Maybe you could install Dashlaunch, set the fans to their default settings and then remove itm

I'm not 100% sure but doesn't this option take care of this?

I have played the first one and it is/was awesome. Now I do love my Xbox but I'm gonna play this one on my Pc simply due to better graphics and since it's a FPS it's way easier to play it on Pc with a mouse then pn a console. P.S. The trailer looks sick!

You need to verify your claim on more then one source lol
-
It does not have a System Link option.
-
I'm glad it all went well. The Indie games I've mentioned also appear in the Homebrew section. If it bothers you you could always move them to another section i.e. XBLA Games.
-
It isn't. But can you run Xexmenu via Metro/Nxe dash?
-
You have a FSD topic on this forum with Download links so you can download it there. You just have to copy the FSD folder to your HDD and set the default path in Dashlaunch so it boots straight into FSD. You will need to install Xexmenu if you want to install FSD via an USB stick.
-
I don't see what's causing this. It could be just a bad FSD install, have you tried installing FSD anew?
-
Owh, you've got it wrong. The 43430824 folder was an example on how the directory should look. You should put your 000B0000 folder in the Folder where your game lays assuming it is converted to a GOD container. The best option would be to place the TU in the Cache folder. I've done that a couple of times and never had any problems.P.S. Why don't you download your TU's via FSD?
-
Yes. If that doesn't work place the TU in the Cache folder on your HDD.
