  1. I'll summarize the answer to this as best I can from other similar posts and the replys that followed. The program will be released when it is needed , the tools your talking about using can run just fine on any older dash/dashlaunch setup, the only reason requiring the updated version would be to use the latest kernel (which has no official release yet either) to go online ,which to my knowledge the staff here nor the program creators do not endorse in anyway Quoted from the XeBuild 1.12 release notes
  2. one correction that should be made here that may help is.. this is posted in FSD support, and titled "FSD launch.ini" however FSD does not use a .ini file. the file you refer to belongs to the dashlaunch program, that being said along with your description I would guess that maybe you have not installed the actual dashlaunch program?? if not install it by running the program xex and allowing it to apply the patches to your system when it prompts you to do so latest dashlaunch available here http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/3228-dashlaunch-312/ also I have always used "Default =" myself
  3. A lot of newer RGH owners really need to remember the purpose of having a Jtag or RGH console, it is not to browse the web, or an array of other things I see being asked all to often these days,, the intended purpose behind these console modifications is to allow homebrew development via the ability to run unsigned code. With that being said the idea of a homebrew web browser is great, but why would any dev spend their time making a program that would be outdone by any smartphone or tablet, game console browsers are just terrible imo, the one on ps3 has always been terrible, and from what I hear IE on xbl is not much better. Point is if you have to browse the web on your console keep a dual nand or retail console for that, it is not what a Jtag or RGH is for
  4. Yes I am sorry I think my statement may have been worded wrongly for what I was trying to get across, I know that many skinners will have skin releases for this, yourself included (which by your preview screens looks great I might say!) however since it is skinned with all visuals this does cut a lot of work time out, but a good many who have made FSD skins may not have dug into things enough to utilize the skin visuals the way the devs have done on this application.
  5. Very nice roundup of fixes in this update, keep up the great work guys, and thank you
  6. Thank you for the comment, it's greatly appreciated! yes due to this app being skinned primarily with visuals I doubt you will see very many "Custom" skins aside of some picture changes etc, I spent hours changing the buttons and text shades, and though it's not perfect and there are some areas that are not as visible as I'd like them to have been , nearly every button ,every text field , and every scene in this skin is altered from the orig to better suit the "beach" background components,, and tbh so far I really don't see any need for layout changes as the app is very well presented
  7. You need to learn some respect kid, yay you can use other devs mod tools, and get online,, who feking cares?? I'm an admin on XPG and I've never even heard of you, likely because you use a dif name to troll every forum all the while acting like you know something,,compared to the staff on this site (whom which the core group has given the scene most of the software we use to run our consoles) your a nothing in the scene, and should be offering these guys your kudo's and respect,, not bashing them. also the stuff doesnt work because your using a hacked up, half ass mock up of an update, simple.. wait for the official as stated.. end of story no reason to be prick about it. Those of us that have some common decency have much respect for you, and all the top level devs that provide us the tools we need to keep our consoles going, please dont let clowns like this kid discourage this progress, or hinder future offerings.. and even though I am on a modding team, and admin a modding site,, tbh If I were in team XeBuild I wouldnt release updates until disc games start to require them ,, just my opinion
  8. Thank you for the kind comment, and for the huge amount of work that has been put into the development of this project, much respect to you all Today I have added my first public released skin for this great dash alternative! (see original post for info and download) "CarbonBeach" enjoy

  10. Very nice to see something new coming from the camp here, I have always had mad respect for you guys and your work! thank you for the great new app and for giving me a reason to make some skins again http://gyazo.com/c0fdf60dfda1129d5f33b93635c039fc PS: thank you , thank you, much easier now that I can use UI audition for some of the skin work
  11. Thank you very much for this,,for an old skin maker like me this is huge in evolving my skills and knowledge about the UI ,,on that note I know any of the material that the team is willing to share (if even only to select people capable of furthering the work if needed) will be greatly appreciated by many of us, and ultimately by everyone who owns a modded console, thanks again for this and for everything TeamFSD has ever done for the 360 scene
  12. Great release , thank you to the xeBuild team and all involved in this programs continued support, please know there are a great many of us that truly appreciate all the effort put in to make this program what it is today
  13. Great release as always , thank you once again to c0z and anyone involved in this project
  14. This is absolutely amazing guys !!! Huge props to XeBuild Team and JPizzle top notch tutorial ! for those of us that will be updating multiple consoles , I did manage to cut out a few steps by creating a .bat file using the command line JPizzle provided in this tutorial so it is a one click process to update the console on the network with updserv on
  15. Very sad to read this, huge respect and tons of thanks to everyone ever involved in TeamFSD!
  16. Hey guys , great updates on the TU selection etc, as always amazing work Everything updates and installed fine here on these 3 boxes XDK xenon - Xenon Jtag RGloader - Jasper SB RGH1(freeboot) Just one note on all 3 of my consoles the update shows up as r775 & r801 They will need some slight updating ..Note to skin makers , so far I have found only the TU manager needs updating
  17. Hey Guys back again to say wonderful job I can't say enough about F3 ,,It's great!! I did notice one little thing dealing with the skin, in the new coverflow lists, the reflection is cut off on the lower part of the screen I wasn't sure if this was intentional or not, I figured i wasn't because it doesn't line up with the status bar when open,I did noticed that when lowered it also moved the angle of the covers themselves (this doesn't seem to alter side to side coverflow look, and is less noticeable there because only the box in focus has it's reflection cut off at the top) Thanks again to everyone involved ,great release!!
  18. I had this exact same thing happen,,but I rebooted, it resumed and finished fine and didn't occur in any other section. Great Release guys, it's beautiful (installed and working perfectly on a Xenon RGLoader 3.05 launching from start button shortcut w/ 2tb internalHDD and 2tb externalUSB storage)
  19. Beautiful release guys, the game list scenes are outstanding!!
