  1. Make sure you have xhttp enabled in dashlaunch. If that is the case, the issue could be on the server side of things. I dont know if others are having this issue, but if it is a server issue, then all you can do is wait for it to be fixed, as I dont have the same access to the unity server as I do on this site.
  2. It is google.... I just googled it for you. It is meant to be ironic to show people that if they use the right search terms they will find what they are looking for.
  3. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Avatar+items+rgh
  4. I am assuming that is a script, in which case, it just pulls the last named title from the DB, but probably wasnt written to change coverflow.
  5. You can, but it is an involved process, and only works on accounts that are created for live, even if they arent ever used for live, as you have to patch the users live key into the avatar data. There are plenty of guides for this online, so I am not going to go into all the details here.
  6. Probably turned off automatic content scanning, to speed things up, and didnt scan for new content after adding the games.
  7. I take it that fixed the issue?
  8. Try writing the file with the advanced menus demon/fusion write option. Most ecc images are not created with the nand anymore, or since the 15574 update, so all that is done is the KV is injected into the bin file when you create the ecc. It doesnt remap the bad blocks. The demon/fusion write option forces remapping while flashing the image. Also, make sure your console has a jtaggable CB version.
  9. Any of the admins on this forum should be able to get that sorted for you. I dont have that kind of access to the server. This is a known issue, it just hasnt been fixed properly yet.
  10. No problem..... If your kernel was that old, then your drive firmware probably needs to be updated as well, or else it wont read XDG3 discs, and since it is a modded console, the update process doesnt update that.
  11. You can get the kernel version from the system settings about console. At the bottom there is a line that looks something like K:2.0.xxxx. the XXXX number is what matters here. If I remember correctly Aurora needs at least 15574, but in reality, I would suggest updating to 17511, which is the latest kernel for the 360. You can do that fairly easily with xebuild updserv option. I really dont feel like explaining it all again, as I just explained how to do this in another thread yesterday. lol. Here is a link to that post, but you should read to the end of the page:
  12. You could look at modifying Swizzy's Asset Editor. It was made so people could use custom covers, before there was an option to put images in a folder on the xbox. It doesnt currently update the DB for things like titles, but most of the work is done already, and that feature wouldnt be hard to add. The code for that can be found here: https://github.com/Swizzy/AuroraAssetEditor A few simple mods to the code, and you should be able to use it to modify other data in the DB as well, such as titles.
  13. Get a nand-x or JR-PRogrammer. You need to make sure the console boots stock. As far as the chip goes, all you have to do is disconnect the post out wire, and the chip will be deactivated. If there is an issue with the console, it wont go to RROD because the smc will keep reseting when the hash check fails on an RGH console.
  14. The game titles come from the header in the XEX file. This is why if you put a game in a retail xbox, without an internet connection it will ask if you want to play <insert game name here>
  15. I do, but I am not going to tell you, because we dont support piracy on this site.
  16. Just because you want something on your console does not make it our responsibility to port it to the console for you. So weather he watches the video, or not, that isnt going to help him create a console version of this, or you for that matter. Help comes to those that help themselves. Meaning if you have more than an idea of what you want and need help with a specific coding issue, or console issue, we will help you, but if you are asking us to do the work for you, then all I can do is laugh at you, and tell you to experiment, and ask questions, when you have a specific question to ask. On top of that any code patches for the PC would have to be revised for the xbox, as it is a completely different processor architecture. What you are requesting is no easy task, and as developers, moderators, etc in this scene, we have other things we are working on such as Aurora 0.7b, Nova, etc.
  17. I believe the option is in a menu called configurator..... Could be wrong about that though. So find the updserv option in the dashlaunch installer, and enable it(Should have a green circle). Leave the dashlaunch installer open, as this is an option for the installer, and then run the command on the computer. If the console is on the same network segment, then it should work. Dashlaunch installer is a seperate app, that you will need to run on the console, as most people build their nand image with the latest dashlaunch installed by default. You can find that app here.
  18. The webUI is leftover from FSD, and is not actually supported with aurora at the moment. The whole thing needs to be rewritten, and the only reason it is included at all is because the server is in the Freestyle Plugin, which was included with aurora so people could still use Link. When Nova is released, there will be a new webUI just for aurora.
  19. Chances are if you had it modded a few years ago, and have never updated it, it is on an older kernel, and should be updated. The easiest way to update everything is with the xebuild updserv option. to do this, download my updated J-runner, which has files for createing all of the dashboards, and a few of the avatar updates, including the latest. You will also need the Dashlaunch installer. For this to work, the console and the computer need to be on the same network. That being said, open the latest dashlaunch installer on the console. Doesnt matter if you update dashlaunch so go ahead and do it if you want. In the configuration menu there is an option called updserv, that needs to be enabled. So do that and leave the app running on the console. Now go back to the PC, and navigate to the xebuild folder within the J-runner folder. hold ctrl+shift and right click, and you should get a new option in the menu that says open command window here. Click that. Now in the command prompt type xebuild update -f 17511 and hit enter. Allow ports on firewall, and wait for the console to reboot. Now your console will be updated to 17511 kernel, and have the avatar/kinect update you wanted.
  20. That wont actually help you, considering the glitch patching forces the system to restart if the glitch doesnt succeed, so there wont be a RROD unless it glitches successfully. This sounds like a glitch timing issue. My Jasper on RGH2 back in the day would boot anywhere from 5 minutes to 20 minutes. With R-JTAG, it takes 30 seconds to a minute tops. Also, if you plugged in a HDD, or a USB device since you first set up the console, it could be throwing off the timing of the glitch. Or the console could actually be suffering from a real RROD, which you wont be able to determine if you dont flash back the stock nand image.
  21. What kernel are you on? did you try loading it from a USB drive? The information you provided doesnt help much, as all I can tell from it is that your console has been successfully RGHed. If the kernel is too old, aurora will crash. If the data on the drive you put it on is corrupt, then it will crash.
  22. You should be able to write a lua script that modifies the DB, and then you could do something like This is not LUA, but it gives an idea if instr(tolower(game_name),"call of duty") then new_game_name=substitute("call of duty", "", tolower(game_name)) end then you can update the DB with new_game_name. Now some of those functions I made up, and others are from other languages, but it gives you an idea of how you could do this. There are ways to do this with regex, and I am sure lua has some similar functions. If that doesnt work, then you could always do it in SQLite browser using SQL queries, which you will need to add to your script anyway. With the script, you can get it to loop through all game names. The only other problem with this script idea, is that when it rewrites the names back to the DB, they will all be in lower case, but that isnt a huge deal for most people.
  23. Easiest way is to use the xebuild updflash method. If you download my version of J-runner, which has all of the required files for the xbox360, you can then load up the dashlaunch installer, enable the updserv option, and leave it running on the xbox, then open the xebuild folder in j-runner, hold ctrl+shift and right click, open command window here, then type xebuild update -f 17511 and hit enter. as long as your xbox and computer are on the same network, it should dump the nand, build a new image, reflash the console, and update the avatar data for the new image.
  24. If that is the case, I would build a new nand image, and flash it.
  25. Use this for a launch.ini [Paths] Default = Usb:\Aurora\Aurora.xex [Plugins] Plugin1= Plugin2= Plugin3= Plugin4= [Externals] ftpserv = false ftpport = 21 updserv = true calaunch = false fahrenheit = false [settings] pingpatch = true contpatch = true fatalfreeze = false fatalreboot = true regionspoof = true region = 0x7fff dvdexitdash = true xblaexitdash = true noupdater = true liveblock = true livestrong = false nonetstore = true nooobe = true autofake = true xhttp=true then put a clean copy of aurora in a folder called aurora on a flash drive, eg d:\aurora\<Aurora Files Here>. Plug this drive into the xbox, and turn it on. It should auto boot the version of aurora on the flash drive, and if it crashes with a clean install, then you know the issue is most likely a corrupted nand image. If not, then you know that the copy of aurora on your hdd is either corrupted, or that your HDD is failing. This isnt really that hard to understand, so I hope you get it now.
