  1. Well. The boot time is long. I have 1069 games that scans in the same way,but much faster. Perhaps your drive is dying,it is really slow by default,or it need some defragmentation. SSD would be the best.
  2. "Almost done" it have been forever. That is why so many start to get inpatient too. They or him or whatever should just take the time it takes, and not say something like "almost done" and "soon" ++ This builds a high hype for a very early release.. I think it will be done Q3-Q4 this year,no sooner.Maybe even 2019 for all i know. I may be wrong of course.. I dont even care that much. 06b is still great. An early 07b release will come when it is done. Just dont think "soon" Soon have been since it was announced.
  3. Hi A little more than a month ago i shipped my Trinity 360 to a workshop/modder. (Advertises this kind of mods) The Xbox worked just fine. No Xlive ban,and barely used. I thought this would be a quick fix for him to do. I have been an observer to these kind of mods earlier, but never done it for myself, and dont have the tools for it. Maximum time that i have observed with these kind of mods is 2 days. For 2 weeks ago i mailed him and he said that this console was especially hard to mod for some reason. Something about it was trouble programming it via southbridge,so he would try direct to NAND ?? Can anyone tell me if this is normal, and what the trouble he speak of is? Any tutorial on youtube i could find seems very straight forward, and some may say easy,so i wonder if something has happened to my xbox. Perhaps bricked, and now he just make excuses. Does it seem like something is wrong,or am i just worrying too much? Not that these Xboxes are rare or expensive,so it is not the end of the world i guess, but i am curious though.
  4. Yeah. FSD Crashes for me.I dont use it much though. But the library stay consistant in number of games. Perhaps it is a USB port issue. I dont know if that ever have been an issue with a 360?
  5. It seems most people only got up to 50 games at most on theyr harddrive. I am one of those that have 1200 games + on my harddrives (2x 2tb + 500gb internal) I can totally relate to the issues this person have. Random games dissapear at startup, random changes in Aurora regarding renaming and cover++ reset (and yeah, its totally random) No scan is automated on startup. My thoughts was also to swap the harddrives, and i did that 2 times. The Harddrives are now just a week old now,and the problems will not go away. It seems to me like Aurora cant handle very large libraries. If i reduce my library to 100 games it will stay rock solid consistent. 300 games,it will fuck up from time to time, but not often. 500 games and over its all over the place. At least it will be missing 1 game pr session. But very often up to 10 games is not uncommon. They are all visible in file manager, and they can all be played just fine from there. Its just the visuals Aurora cant handle. This do not happen i FSD for me,.just Aurora. My default boot is Aurora (0.6b) I also prefer Aurora, because it is simplyfied and looks better IMO. I know it will be hard to believe for you that dont get these problems, but like i said: i bet you guys dont have the same size library in there. If you do: i would be very interested to know what kind of xbox you are running (what mods) and what types of harddrives you have. I have tried all from the Xbox official 2tb drives from Seagate to WD,Toshiba and Samsung disks. The disks have all been in good shape. My Xbox is an old phat Jasper with JTAG mod. Latest dash, dashlaunch. Some theories and more input will be welcome to this issue.
  6. The need for background change is really wanted. Also: Game numbers. Perhaps a new more fancy loading screen. Some tech savvy should really modify this theme. It really is one of the best. The background music is also very nice in this.
  7. A FTP "Name editor" for Windows could also be a nice solution. Perhaps a save function could be implemented,so that if (or when) a new scan in Aurora defaults the names, you could just apply the saved data from Windows. A database could be build with all the names for others to use too perhaps. I would not know how to make something like this myself,so i dont know if that is possible. But i know others that would like such a tool. Limitations in a script with only lower case letters is just fine. It would be much better than the xex default titles anyway.
  8. Hi I just wondered if it is possible to make a script that allows every game to use its directory name ? I have a larger library of games (500+) the games is all over the place because of the names the games get automaticly. If they would have the directory name it would look much better. Example: Dir name: Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare Library name: modern warfare 4 The game then goes under the letter M instead of C. This is possible to change manually i know, but with this many games in the library it takes some time. Sorry if this is a stupid request. Sorry for my poor english.
