  1. The easy way is to just copy the data to the internal HDD, you'll most likely need to also update your dashlaunch configuration, to do that just run the installer you could also do it with FTP... the internal HDD is "HDD1", that's the "storage" partition... the one commonly reffered to as HDDX is for the Xbox 1 Compatibility stuff...
  2. The easy way is to get yourself a router (even if your modem have a built in router), then disable NAT on the modem... that way, the modem acts as just a modem while the router deals with distributing everything for you to the rest of your network... that's also the best method as you'd have to configure alot of stuff in a router to make it work with your ISP's setup...
  3. The emulator is running at a to low speed it would appear
  4. Make sure you're in a room with other ppl, and make sure that they're actually playing the exact game you are and using the same title updates etc.

    Help XMPlayer 0.0.4

There is a template to request help with this app, please read it and supply more details then just "i can't play this .avi file i have... what's wrong?!" read this post to find the template: http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/2353-xmplayer-v004-a-new-version-of-the-libxenon-media-player/?p=18207 it's like asking a mechanic to fix your car but not explaining the problem other then saying it's not working...
  6. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=XDK+Download <--- tried that? should be able to find it... it's not a legal copy, therefor i will not give you a direct link... there are sites on the net that have them... you'll have to find these on your own...You can use C and C++, you should also be able to use Assembler i think...
  7. It's a bit of both... but... if you have a JTAG or RGH you can run unsigned code (stuff compiled with the XDK) there are also plugins that let you get some of the features of a full devkit... there's also stuff like rgloader which is a hybrid~
  8. Have you tried googling a little on what i mentioned?i found these this morning when googling, i don't have a macintosh machine myself... but... i googled on the same keywords again "mac bridge wifi to ethernet" which is a suggestion by google as you type "mac bridge wifi"http://www.mulle-kybernetik.com/weblog/2013/01/bridging_a_wireless_and_an_eth.htmlhttp://maybeageek.wordpress.com/2013/01/30/bridging-ethernet-interfaces-under-os-x/I'm sure that if you search for a little bit you'll learn exactly how to do it with a mac... it's much easier with windows it seems [ in windows you simply select the devices to bridge then right click and select "bridge" and it'll take care of everything for you... however, you can't allow internet sharing while having the bridge... but... that doesn't matter as when you bridge it'll be connected directly to your router and thus have internet access anyways]
  9. They're using the XDK... the Xbox 360 Development Kit... (XDK is also the name of the hardware and the old "classic" xbox software development kit) If you google you'll find some fairly recent ones... any of 'em should work fine... however, to have the most features use the latest one... for instance, the first XDK's compatible with Xbox 360 don't have any support for kinect (it wasn't even available at the time!)
  10. Idk, personally i use the xbox itself to do that shit... then i run something like XEXMenu or FSD... both have filemanagers, and both also have FTP...Of course, if i don't have that ability... i use Xport360/PartyBuffalo... (the later is what i use most of the time now tho, as i mostly use it to extract system updates from USBMU...)
  11. Yes, anything below 65 should be safe
  12. In windows there's a way to make a "bridge" between the Wifi and Ethernet, you probably need something similar for your Mac... Just having internet sharing doesn't solve the problem, however... if you bridge the connections your computer will become a switch connected to wifi and having only 1 ethernet port xD
  13. Sure, as long as the app you're using have support for 500GB...
  14. Download the appropiate update from here: http://www.homebrew-connection.org/files/xbox/system_updates/Extract the folder "$SystemUpdate" from it to a FAT32 usb memory... if you have JTAG/RGH you may need to disable update blocking or rename the folder to "$$ystemUpdate"
  15. I ussually recommend changing the temps instead of the fanspeed... if you lower the temp values the console will increase the fan speed but not lock it... if you're going to lock it... use 100%
  16. i would recommend not making a backup, but instead extracting all the files...
  17. If there was a valid key generator Microsoft would simply update the future codes, and old ones (which the generator can handle) would stop working anyways
  18. Updating F3 doesn't delete your database/settings...You'll have to read up on your exact router how to do port-forwarding... there's guides how to set up LiNK on this forum
  19. Sorry, the name isn't "port360" it's "xport360", my brain is pulling tricks on me again
  20. You need to update before it'll work, enable BETA updates and search for updates... then you'll have the latest version and it should work as long as you set up your router correctly... There is a way to play on XBL aswell with a JTAG/RGH, however... it costs you quite a bit of money and you may get banned whenever anyways... on top of that a JTAG/RGH have nothing to do on XBL as it'll just f*ck with the game... [lot's of ppl use trainers and shit like that to cheat online]
  21. I Guess, it's not like you shave off 20 years of use or anything like that, the difference isn't huge... you'll likely get another console before you have problems with the fans because you've used them at 100%... of course, having them run 24/7 at full speed will cause serious damage to the fans after a few years (compared to running it in normal speeds)...
  22. There are many alternatives;Port360Partybuffalo to name 2 of 'em atleast that i have in my head right now
  23. One of the dissadvantages of having the fan running at full speed 24/7 is that you'll cause alot more wear on it then you would normally... meaning you're shortening the life span of the fan...
  24. Tried extracting the expansion disc and checking the contents of it (use something like exiso or xbox image browser)? my guess is that it contains a folder named "content" which holds the data that needs to be copied to your internal hdd/whatever other xbox 360 memory you have
  25. This could be caused by many things, among some it could be an issue with your ISP having crappy connections towards the server location... it could also be that your router/modem is getting to old... are you having any other issues with networking? maybe sites loading slowly etc.? A good test would be to check your connection with http://www.speedtest.net and checking your connection towards america/france, iirc the server is in one of these countries... if your connection have a very slow speed or high ping that could be the reason for your problems...
