    Tittle Update

Maximum you can use for Savegames, DLC and TU's is 32GB without special tools that cost you money... Having a internal HDD means you can store more savegames and DLC there, you also have better performance on the internal harddrive then you have on a USB harddrive/stick

    Tittle Update

Then perhaps get yourself a bigger internal harddrive?
  3. Did you have any USB Memory or any other USB Device connected? if so, it's probably the cause of your problem... i checked the error code and it says that you are experiencing a USB related error... more specifically a null pointer (not that this helps you any i guess... but i'll look into maybe adding a way to catch this error instead of crashing)
  4. Once you have your nand and key, build a new image using xeBuild GUI or whatever NAND Builder you prefer... the output file (updflash.bin) you need to put on a USB memory/harddrive formatted in FAT32 like so:x:updflash.binwhere x: = the letter of your device in windows... once you've done this just boot XeLL with this memory in the console and it'll flash your nand and thus fix it...all of this is in the first post of this thread

    Launch.ini

For content like that you need to configure your USB external memory in the Xbox 360 dashboard so you get a 32GB virtual memory, once you have that you can add stuff to it using etheir FSD or a PC app like Party Buffalo...However, you CANNOT get it to read stuff directly from the external harddrive (content and title updates)Games can be read from USB with XEXMenu and FSD without any problems... but... not DLC/XBLA/TU
  6. It's not https, it's http... other then that, if you can't fix it using XeLL you'll need to get a hardware flasher in order to fix it (NAND-X or similar...)

    Launch.ini

What do you mean? the xbox 360 dashboard doesn't read the contents of an external harddrive in a way that you can see it or launch games/apps from it, you'll need F3, XEXMenu or similar... an alternative dashboard that is...

    Xbox network IP

Or by setting static IP settings... (the recommended way is the router)
  9. xeBuild is the tool you use to update your hacked dashboard/kernel (it builds the Xbox 360 NAND with the newer versions) there are multipile programs that do this, all of which use xeBuild commandline tool in the background (xeBuild GUI [which i make btw], JRunner, AutoGG and a bunch of others...)
  10. You don't, ever formatted a hdd/memory in windows? then you have an option to select cluster size... this is exactly the same thing as that
  11. Well, removing the DVD drive should solve the problem... if it doesn't you'll need to figure out what the heck is the cause of the issue...If you want to repair the DVD Drive you'll need to look at what is the cause of the problem, it's likely not something you'll be able to fix on your own at home... but... you might be able to, it's one of those things that nobody is going to be able to give you a straight answer without seeing what the cause of the problem is (most likely one needs to see the drive in person rather then looking at pictures) but, seeing as you don't use the DVD drive... just remove it... it'll work without the dvd (hopefully also without the issue) however, the led will still be blinking, this can be disabled with one additional SMC patch when you build a new image using xeBuild... or with a simple jumper over the correct points of the dvd power connector... [the recommended path is to go with the software method as it simply disables the function to blink when the drive is opening/closing or not present]
  12. it's the size of the sectors used for the data storage, can't explain it closer then that... The HDD maximum size is the same for both JTAG and RGH tho The only thing that differs between JTAG and RGH is the method to which you reach the modified dashboard
  13. What happens if you remove the DVD Drive? (the console will work without it aswell) i still believe there is a hardware problem with the dvd drive as it may be stuck (not opening) but it tells the console that it is opening...
  14. Many ppl call the installer "Dashlauch" when infact it's not, dashlaunch you cannot really see anywhere (unless you look in flash where you should touch NOTHING)The installer is both installing and configuring Dashlaunch
  15. If the tray opens on it's own it's likely caused by broken mechanical parts in your drive (it can't tell if it's open or closed properly) This have nothing to do with the NAND, it can however also be caused by a bad kamikaze attempt on a slim drive...
  16. This isn't in dashlaunch itself, it's in the installer... also, it's not wrong as it's what cOz wrote in the changelog... a change he made... also he wrote "should" which means it's not garantueed to solve the problem...
  17. You probably missed the part where you set the environment rules or something, etheir way... here's the last one i compiled: http://www.sendspace.com/file/617gmo it should work with hitachi's without freezing according to some reports i've had, but i've also had reports saying it doesn't solve the problem on phat hitachi's which also have the same problem... homebrew doesn't work etheir if they're trying to use the DVD so those needs to be recompiled aswellTo fix that part you'll need to do this: sudo bash -c "printf "export DEVKITXENON="/usr/local/xenon"nexport PATH="$PATH:$DEVKITXENON/bin:$DEVKITXENON/usr/bin"" >> /etc/profile.d/devkitxenon.sh"sudo chmod +x /etc/profile.d/devkitxenon.shexport DEVKITXENON="/usr/local/xenon"export PATH="$PATH:$DEVKITXENON/bin:$DEVKITXENON/usr/bin" you could also use my complete script (it's geared towards debian systems tho): http://xeupd.com/.downloads/install_libxenon.sh

    RGLoader ask

You'll need to get a unbanned proper kv (from a working console) then you simply replace it with the builder of your choice (i recommend using xeBuild GUI...) If you need specific instructions on how to do it, let me know and i'll tell you... however, i find it BAD to go online with a JTAG/RGH on Xbox LiVE due to the fact that it grants you unfair advantages over others, messing up the game for everyone else...

    DashLaunch 3.10

Are you starting the game with F3? if so; disable the F3 plugin and it'll work fine...
  20. When the center LED turns RED it's the same as what happens when you get RROD on a "phat" console [old Xbox 360], this indicates that there's a problem somewhere... If you press and hold the "sync" button [small one you press to connect wireless controllers] and press the eject button you'll get an error code (check how many leds are blinking in the ring) this error code will tell you what went wrong... if you get no error code it could be a MFG error in which case you need to make sure to have networking connected or wait like 5-10 minutes for an error to show up... Of course, sometimes you'll also see an error on the TV (E##) with a message telling you to call the customer support blabla... if that's the case just post the error you see there (no need to go with the secondary error code as it'll tell you the exact same thing anyways)
  21. It's likely a connection problem with your 3G router... 3G isn't very fast most of the time, and if you have poor signal strength it's likely one of many possible causes for the problems you're having... also, when you switch sim cards you probably switch between different operators? that'd cause the signal strength/speed limits may change... LiNK Works best with a broadband connection, but i guess you can't get that where you live maybe? it's the same with ALL online gaming services... not just LiNK or Xbox 360, PC's will have similar issues aswell, it all depends on the game as it'll send/receive different ammounts of data depending on how the game developer made it, some games use less network bandwidth then others, the less bandwidth required to more likely you are to be able to play using a 3G router/modem
  22. This could be caused by the codec... there is no way anyone can help troubleshoot it without knowing more about the file mkv is just a container, inside it is the video/audio data encoded using a codec... when it's run on the console it needs to be decoded into something that the console can use natively, and if your codec isn't optimized enough or if there's to much data to process at any given time it'll not be compatible...A Somewhat common problem is ppl trying to play movies that have source data is 1080p, the maximum that have been tested without laggs and such is 720p... and even then not all will work flawlessly... if you're trying to play 1080p videos, then that is the source of the issue, otherwise if it's lower then 720p (scene releases tend to have names that specify if it's 720p or above, so if yours doesn't have any such info let's assume it's lower)

    FSD Won't update

If you follow my guide you'll be running xeBuild GUI, you'll see a dropdown list with the various versions it can create, select a lower version then the preset one (default for latest version: 2.0.16537.0)
  24. It could be many things, most commonly is that your computer is full of crap (old temporary internet files, adware, spyware, viruses etc. etc.) try clearing out temporary internet files... personally i use CCleaner for that... (you can find it for free on www.piriform.com) If this doesn't help, try checking for viruses using your antivirus software, and perhaps also malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/
