Here is the Optional Media Update that will allow your Xbox 360 to playback MP4, Divx and XviD. this will help some of you having problems with windows media center or watching some movies How to use: Open \Content\0000000000000000 and then copy the \FFFE07DF\00000002 folders inside there. This will not run from a CD / DVD or work on a non jtag hacked console. file added: Xbox 360 Optional Media Update (New in December 2011) Optional-Media-Update-12-12-2011.zip

I never would have thought it really, I have 2 x SSD's set up in a RAID STRIPPED array, for the PC, and boy was I glad I had made a backup.....one failed and it was my own fault for having it set up like that rather than mirrored. As for the 360 and that, then I really wouldn't have thought it would have but you've tried it so, learn summit new everyday

First; don't format in windows... Second; you etheir use FTP (network transfer) or you use something like PartyBuffalo/Horizon or whatever to handle the XTAF partitions...

I've tested a SSD in the past, and no it's not bullshit... if your SSD runs to fast it can cause problems down the line, you can see it on PC's for instance if you have a SSD with to slow processor/ram/gpu you may end up with texture loss in games... it's due to games beeing optimized for running from hdd's not SSD's... On the 360 however you'll end up with a fatal crash if you use a SSD (with some games, not all) for instance, i tested it with Borderlands, i could start the game, start a game and begin loading the map... when it was about to let me start playing the console crashed... this ONLY happened with my SSD... which was working perfectly fine on the PC before/after... On a side note; The original harddrive(s) in a Xbox 360/Xbox 360 S/Xbox 360 E is a 5400 RPM Harddrive, so yeah... any other 5400 should do fine 5200 RPM is also fine, so is 7200 RPM... any harddrive will work just fine really...

The HDD signature check is removed in JTAG/RGH images which means you can use any size hard drive you like. A 5400RPM drive is perfectly fine as read/write times are fine and the HDD will run quiet. I have a 2.5" 500GB Seagate hard drive in my RGH console.

Hello folks I have just registered but have been following the site for a while. The info and help I have found in this community has encouraged me to decide into going the RGH way. Just wanted to leave a small thank you post to every one of you that make the Xbox scene as strong as it is. Without your hard work we could never have the countless hours of fun that we enjoy with our modded systems. This goes to both the developers and the helpful users that hang around this fantastic place. Keep the good work guys. It is really appreciated.

this is what stopped me from playing counter strike all them moons ago, wall hacks, head shot mods, see through walls, floors, hacx the lot...... then there was the controllers for the 360, rapid fire one's etc. there's nothing worse than "online" and knowing that someone could be using a hack, no matter what online game it is.............jtag for jtag, modded lobbies for modded lobbies but actually using it online to gain an advantage is just a bitch and a half. Spoils the community....kills the games......stops the fun and the skills that you gain, acquire......be a true gamer and use your skills.

No you don't need the path in launch.ini. Launch.ini is Dashlaunch's ini file not F3s. Start directly into F3 and the multidisc works.
