Totally off topic, but from a design perspective, I gotta say that Jpizzle does a fantastic job with this site's layout. The forum's are carefully organized and monitored and every time there is a front page announcement there is always some superb artwork accompanying it. you can not play .elf files inside of freestyle dash, sorry. However, there are some great emulator programs that will run. try retroarch, it's right on the main page.

Another great boot animation! I load these onto customer's boxes and every time they see their console boot for the first time it blows their minds! It immediately shows them that their Xbox is now a different and much better machine than it used to be! If you haven't checked out Garzol's F3 skin, you should give that a look as well!

Hi there Salford! Are you still able to boot into Xell by using the eject button? If so, you may be able to undo your bad flash by using rawflash. If you can not boot to xell, you will need to buy some hardware in order to reflash it.

I've tried multiple USB drives. USB drives that work on a console I know will run Mupen do not work on consoles that will not run mupen.

My consoles are all Xenons, believe it or not, so I can't say for certain if it is related to console type.

Perhaps someone with a little more knowledge and experience than myself can answer this question for me. I have several Jtags that I keep updated for friends and customers of mine. I have all of my Jtags updated to the latest Xebuild, latest dashlaunch and latest F3 as well as Xell Reloaded. So here is the problem: when I try to run the Mupen64 beta, it will work on some of my consoles, but will hang on the loading screen of others. The only discernible difference between the ones that don't work and the ones that do is that the ones that do work were built recently using a clean retail Nand dump while the others were kept updated over time using nands taken from the consoles using nand flasher for xbox 360. It is worth mentioning that the older version of mupen 64, (.96 I believe) would run just fine on all consoles. Devices that work on the consoles that will run Mupen 64 do not work on the consoles that won't run Mupen64. Has anyone out there had a similar problem? Also, does anyone know what the solution might possibly be? Thank you in advance!

Is your nxe dash updated? Are you using the latest version of F3? Are you using the latest version of dashlaunch? (I really should just keep those three questions permanently copied to my clipboard...) 99% of your problems can be solved by asking yourself those 3 questions.

That's a great idea, perhaps you could use the already existing system that FS3 has for displaying games and artwork, except your games are your thumbnails and when you select the "game" it takes you to the a full screen shot of your thumbnail. I have never done anything with xuitool, so perhaps this isn't possible. Just a thought.

Monkeynuts: I'm not sure about the Q2 error, but I'd check and see if I'm using the correct SMC hack when I create the Nand. Some Jtags have an alternate wiring that you have to compensate for when making the nand. TudorBlue: Just make sure you follow the tutorial exactly, that way you shouldn't have any problems!

Now that starts my day out with a big ol' grin!
