  1. HDD:/Aurora/Plugins/UserData/<titleID>/Screenshots/<some long meta number>.bmp titleID being whatever game/homebrew you had active when you took the screeny
  2. There was another post with a fix for a similar issue http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/4189-aurora-and-kinect/?p=36137. Setting Dashlaunch: nohealth = true fixed the problem for me on Steel Battalion's Kinect game. As far as launching Dashlaunch... If you don't have it scanned into Aurora, you can always go to it with the file manager and launch the xex directly. But yeah, like Swizzy said, it probably doesn't have Avatar Data installed for your RGH side.
  3. I may have jumped the gun on recommending HB. You might have to install libdvd.css in order to remove protection. Like was said, if you have issues getting it to work, just use DVDfab. Totally forgot about that program.
  4. FSD is dead/dying. Aurora would be recommended for ease of downloading covers and TU's etc. you're on your own for downloading games. No one here will help you with that. Installing is just the same as it was in FSD though. Just tell Aurora where it is and it'll scan it to the database. Sign up at xboxunity.net to be able to pull covers and TU's into Aurora. Enter your login details in Aurora and you're good to go.
  5. The simplest way to run handbrake, don't touch anything. Lolz, everything is set up off the get-go and all you have to do do is drag and drop your file onto the face of the gui, then press start. It will spit out a new file right alongside the original. If you want, there are device specific profiles you can use for ATV, iPhone, Windows phone, etc. they should appear in a slide out drawer when you open the proggy. The only adjustment I'd recommend playing with is quality slider. A little goes a long way here, and the adjustment will affect the quality and finished file size. Default settings will usually shrink your file size though right off the bat. Keep in mind that the grainier your source, the bigger the finished file will be. I use HB in conjunction with MakeMKV to rip BR disks and compress all in one swift session. HB should surpass the ease and quality of most programs out there. Edit: DVDfab is a great proggy, I used to use it when Windows was my main OS, and yeah, HB will spit out MP4 unless you choose mkv. I thought they pulled the VLC trick a few years ago, so it might not strip protection anymore. If so just use DVDfab.
  6. Run it through handbrake first. Should remove anything in your way.
  7. Not sure how yours is set up, but I have all my homebrew in a folder called Homebrew, then scanned into Aurora's db using Homebrew as the script data. I know Swizzy always recommends not using infinite scan depth, but mine has it without issue... yet. Where is your homebrew located and how did you add your paths?
  8. Should be Aurora/Data/Databases/content.dbhere's another thread that may be of more help though Database/Tag editor Make sure you back it up before trying to change it.
  9. Could be, lmao. You can do a whois lookup and see that the domain was renewed on Sept. 7th and good till Sept. 4th of next year and status was OK. So it doesn't look like he let it expire. It's anyones guess beyond that as to why it was taken down. Another lookup I did gave conflicting info and said that the status was "Client Hold", but IDK.
  10. Yeah, I just don't want any Bad blood between RMS and XYZ. Thanks for your post felida, it helps. If everyone is OK with the files (I posted a pic of the files in another thread) then I'll upload them. Swizzy gets final call, but I totally understand his reason for not wanting to host without direct consent. Edit: post with files pic http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/6412-xyzmods-website-offline/page__view__findpost__p__54500
  11. Gavin posted an archive he made about a year ago. It's better then nothing. I will post up the trainer making tutorial with videos and tools in a few days. It also wouldn't be too difficult to put together a trainer archive if people wanted to just pm their Aurora/Trainers folder (zipped of course). Not sure if RMS wants to host them here though.
  12. Well, it's not like Mega's still owned by Kim.org or whatever his name is. But it's anyone's guess if the new owners are collecting data like Kim claimed. Personally I think he was crying wolf.
  13. That true does suck then, cause the DVD bezel has green writing while the stock crystal case writing is silver. Also the top cover is taller and has green writing...
  14. The drive trays are all black, but yeah, I was referring to the bezel since it looked like a crystal Xbox from your pic.
  15. Yeah, I think 2.7 was the last official release. The unofficial ones seam to be updated for XBMC and emulators. But I can confirm the 3.2 works fine. I used it for XBMC install back in '13 (from the XBMC4XBox link in Swizzy's last post)
  16. I don't know what's not to trust. I don't think I've heard of any viruses for Xbox, you wouldn't see anything when mounting it on a pc if it's for Xbox. Doubt anyone has gone to the trouble to make a dangerous bios though. I have an X3ce so no reason to change a bios on my system, last official release from tx was ages ago.
  17. I just googled Slayers 3.3, came back with one hit in Spanish. Might not be official, didn't check it. If you can't find the 3.2 let me know and I'll see if I can upload it.
  18. The part that sux is you may have to go to fleabay in Canada or UK to get the crystal cover for the dvd drive bay. Probably have to buy a whole console too. The one on my crystal Xbox says XCM, and I've looked for an OG replacement.
  19. http://xboxdrives.x-pec.com/?p=list Lot's of info there, I personally have a Maxtor 200GB, but recommend a 750GB platter drive for best storage and compatibility. The SATA's (adapters) seem temperamental.
  20. I think you're changing just the Filters and sort, which will hide it for the current session. Maybe to make it stick through a reboot do as Swizzy said and edit the Quick View using the Quick View Builder, then save when done. I personally just hide them individually.
  21. Ok, lolz. Yeah I did a quick search and see superdisc out there since '03, just never used it. I used Slayers in '05 when I first modded my Xbox, but moved on to AID after that since it was updated... I think 4.53 is the latest I have. I think someone might have made another update to slayers though. Thanks for the share though, i'll archive it and check it out one of these days. edit: looks like the Slayers update was an unofficial update to 2.97-2.98 edit2: nope looks like I have a 3.2 version of Slayers, but there's also a 3.3 out there.
  22. Wow, Swizzy and Gavin have definitely worked on more Xbox1's than I have, lolz. I only have the limited experience with my box, so i'm limited to what I've done on it. Never heard of Super Disc before, best i would've suggested is Slayers or AID for the tools needed. (I have those disc if you need them) I may be wrong, but the box might boot fine once you get the DVD drive (and HDD) installed, as I don't think it'll boot without both connected.
  23. @sladezzdragonzz had a modchip in one of his other xboxes, might be able to use that instead of doing the dump with an eeprom reader.
  24. I'm not sure if it will save anything without a profile present. Maybe wait for Swizzy to confirm, or just try out a profile and see if it fixes it. I only mentioned it cause I noticed before that when a profile isn't signed in, all my hidden discs were present.
  25. Did you check that your profile (gamertag) is enabled. Maybe it's not set to auto login your profile in NXE.
