  1. Yes-- same deal. Same goes for any game you find in .7z format (split or single file). Though .rar is by far more common... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The better method is definitely DVD Extract as it only rips the raw game data. According to Swizzy, NXE Install method does this too except it adds a bunch of "security crap" lol. However, NXE Install + nxe2god is a decent alternative if DVD Extract fails. Here's how to do it: 1) Insert game disc 2) Load official Xbox dashboard (NXE) 3) Hover over your game disc and press X 4) Install game 5) Load nxe2god and follow the prompts to convert your NXE installed games to games on demand (GOD) Usually when you install games via NXE it requires you to have the disc in the drive while you play. nxe2god simply removes this limitation.
  3. Ah. I asked because JRunner and Nandhealer don't automatically remap the first 50 blocks (MUST be done manually). Be thankful it's not in that area, lol Out of curiosity, why did you use noremap? Was this done in a tutorial you found or something? From the sounds of what you described, seems Xecuter Fusion noticed the noremap and remapped anyway. If it boots properly and you don't experience any errors, I would say there's no issue here. 4. What's the file size of the .dvd file? I find it strange there would be a .dvd and no .iso. They usually come in pairs... Also, how are you ripping your games? Via FSD DVD Extract, or via NXE install feature? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I don't believe you can "erase" a bad block. If you see something like this: "Bad block found at ... Remapped to ..." ...Then this is the best you can do to "fix" it. Until someone else can confirm my understanding is correct, I highly recommend you DO NOT try to "erase" them. Remember, messing with your NAND can cause serious damage if you're not careful. Does JRunner not remap them for you? If JRunner isn't automatically remapping, then are the bad blocks in the first 50 blocks of your NAND?
  6. Typically I just install my games to HDD (via official dash) then run nxe2god. Does DVD Extract in FSD save HDD space, or is it the same?In any case, FSD's DVD Extract feature fondly reminds me of the original Xbox homebrew, DVD2Xbox. Maybe more closely compared to UnleashX's DVD ripping feature though. Fun times for the Xbox scene. I think I still have 4 modded original Xboxes laying around here, lol. 7. Doesn't look like it :/. My guess is he's taking the achievement boosting angle... Which doesn't exactly "sort" the problem for everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. 360Haven does have *some* Aurora trainers, but it's true that most are generic trainers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Well... After much googling, I have some bad news for everyone hunting for XeRemote. It seems the author (teh1337) had only uploaded it to his own personal website, http://cf.gy .... Archive.org indexed other pages from the site, such as some other coding projects he had, but no archives of XeRemote.zip. Furthermore, I found people on xpsgamesaves offering money to anyone with a new upload with no result. Some have reached out to teh1337 on YouTube, also with no result. What this means: There is a slim to none chance you'll ever find an upload of XeRemote. It seems very few people downloaded it, so it's down to either teh1337 reuploading it (unlikely) or someone who downloaded from http://cf.gy to reupload (even more unlikely). To say the least, this is extremely disappointing. I wish I would have known about this sooner, because I most certainly would have archived it. I don't blame you-- best to stick with what you have. Besides, 360 Lizard is expensive.. It never saw price drops like the X360USB Pro v2 did :/Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Let's take this step by step. First, what exactly do you mean by "connected to my profile"? Is this just a fancy way to say that you signed in to your profile? Because the way you're wording it sounds like there's a lot more going on than just signing in. Second, is Title Update 27 the latest TU? (meaning, latest for even those downloading via Xbox Live) Since it's difficult to recommend a course of action without further information, my current suggestion is to download it from an Xbox Live safe console. I would be more than happy to detail how to do this for you if you can.
  11. tl;dr: LTU2 .bin files ARE on Xbins, but cannot be utilized by 360 Lizard or Lizard Toolbox. Meaning, Lizard users are S.O.L. unless they find the special "fileset" file. My thirst for finding the LTU2 fileset for Maximus' 360 Lizard was fueled by this bolded statement exactly-- however the folks at Team Xecuter's forums don't take kindly to people who use competitor products. The LTU2 "Fileset" is in a file format seemingly only recognized by Lizard Toolbox (I've briefly tried extracting it as an archive (perhaps just a .zip in disguise?) with no luck). If it were possible to use the Xbins .bin files (or relatively simple to recreate the "fileset"), I would have used it in a heartbeat. Without it, there's just no way to generate a LTU2 image in Lizard Toolbox Since all that frantic searching, I eventually bought a X360USB Pro V2: Hey, I gotta have something to hook up my 0800 drive, right? Lol I still prefer Lizard for drive flashing though. (And for those curious, I eventually found the fileset via tossing a dead download link I found into archive.org)
  12. Ooo, sounds spiffy. I managed to find the LTU2 fileset for Maximus Lizard (and promptly uploaded to Eurasia.nu), so chances are I can find this too. Once I get to my PC I'll give it a shot... And upload to Eurasia of course lolSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Out of curiosity, what is XeRemote? My Google-Fu is strong-- maybe I could find it for you. Knowing a bit more about it may help.
  14. I don't see why you wouldn't-- modifying profiles is fairly safe considering they're not core system files. If it were my Xbox? I would use both without worrying about it. Just remember to make backups once in a while. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Best of luck to you-- glad to be of some help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. You're more or less screwed, if I'm going to be honest. But if you want to recover from it and never intend to use Live, you could always create a new profile and use an achievement unlocker for a quick boost. Probably the most well known achievement unlocker is Anarchy. I recommend taking a look at Velocity: it has a built in profile creator and editor. The editor can unlock both achievements and avatar awards. Lastly, I'm unsure how you lost your profile (or corrupted?), but I recommend making regular backups of your profile. Also, always backup before using any editor (even Anarchy and Velocity). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Just wanted to chime in to share my experience. I'm on a tri-nand system, and frequently switch between my retail (untouched) NAND and my hacked NAND. When on hacked NAND, I always launch my games BEFORE signing in (locally only-- I have liveblock on). Whenever I've needed the latest title update for any game, I simply switch to stock retail NAND and download it from XBL (using same account; obviously connected to live). So yes, you can either use Swizzy's suggestion (find a friend with a retail console) or set up dual/tri-nand on your own console... The key is connecting fully retail (retail nand + glitcher disabled). A final option is to back up your hacked NAND, reflash to stock and disable glitcher, then download straight to your own HDD. If you do this, and your retail NAND is not on the latest dash, updating from XBL will change the LDV values. This shouldn't be a problem if you're prepared for it. Here's how I would handle the process: 1) Back up current (hacked) NAND (make sure you have your CPU key saved somewhere safe!) 2) Write retail NAND with same dash revision as your hacked NAND 3) DISABLE/REMOVE YOUR GLITCH CHIP 4) Fully update via XBL 5) Make a backup of fully updated stock NAND 6) Download any and all title updates needed 7) Create a new hacked NAND based on NAND from step 5 (should have same LDV values as retail backup) 8) Write the new hacked NAND back to your system, re-enable or reconnect glitch chip and enjoy EDIT: I just want to emphasize once again... NEVER connect to live with an enabled glitch chip. If you forget to disable your glitcher when you connect on a stock NAND, you're screwed! You've been warned!
  18. Registered to say I'm also disappointed to see xyzmods down... I also would appreciate insight as to why it's down, and when we can hope for it to return. Aurora is great, but with xyz down it's near impossible to get Aurora trainers.
