ok thanks for the reply. thats a good start. been locked out of xyz today due to server maint. start there when i can. I havent had much luck with the xpg trainers. seems like im doing everything right, must be the trainers, like i said they appear to work, so unless the XPG guys contact me im not going to mess much with it anymore. unless i have the same problem with xyz, but i dont think ive been there yet.

i cant seem to figure this out. i understand each trainer is different, but most seem to say "install in game folder" which I assume is the actual game folder (eg:hd/games/fallout 3) and not my game directory (eg:hd/games). either way ive tried both. I also tried installing the 2 files in the TRAINERS folder of aurora. I also tried a combo between the game folder and trainer. so i dont know. i watched a guy on youtube, he disabled "fsd plugin" and all of a sudden his trainer shows in aurora autolaunch feature, i cant get any trainers to show up, tried a few dif ones too. i know to restart when i try a new trainer, is a reboot needed too? either way that doesnt help my case for trainers that dont work. ive had tons of problems getting trainers to work. 2/6 so far i think. kind of seems like ever since the first one, no others work. that trainer didnt show up in autolauncher either but it worked. one thing ive noticed is it seems like trainers maybe dont work with the new kernal update i just did? who knows. if i can get the trainers to show up in aurora, that would make me feel better. right now i dont know where to start on trouble shooting since they dont even show up in the launcher pane. all of my trainers act like they are working but they dont do the cheat just the notifications. most of them are xpgamesave trainers i think. going to try a dif traineer site when they load and see if it works better. BUT MAINLY HOW DO I GET TRAINERS TO SHOW UP IN AURORA "Autolaunch feature" which is inside the game details option? if i can figure that out maybe i can get all my trainers working! ive disabled the screenshot, disabled fsd plugin, disabled link, combos nothing. and i renamed the trainer folder to title id, still doesnt show up, this is the way i think it should be installed so far but doesnt work Aurora \\\ Trainers \\\ TitleId(eg:425307D5) \\\ trainer.xex and launcher.xex

Makes sense, i actually had gta v on disc when i installed that now that i think obout it, and adv warfare may have required something special i remember i had trouble but think it was kernal. ill try the disk with a dvdr. that should work probably. as far the contents go, it was like 6007zip files. i think sometimes winrar works for me, anyways had to get 7zip for this one. got it unzipped with that finally. normal iso etc. then i extracted it with mpgui.

did you evr fond a solution to this? ive had the same problem. multiple games all appear to work but dont. the only 2 trainers i got working were black ops 3 for tu1, tu3 never worked for me i also got black ops1 working i think and both were xpgamesave archives. thinking maybe the kernal update or something. pretty sure all my trainers have been from the same source.

i could try installing from disc, might have one laying around. ive done a few other games like gta v and c0d adv warfare and they install content fine from extracted disc 2. one reason im sketch about the disk 2, is because 360mpgui doesnt bring up info for it etc. it says fallout disk 1 i think. idk just seems wierd. im going to try a different disk 2 before anything, i had alot of trouble unzipping it, took forever, and had to use 7zip. mustve been an old 7zip file. regardless i dont trust the source too much, considering that the 2 discs were different archives. could be ps3 or pc format dlc who knows man.. im going to start there. i know u said to talk to the devolpers of trainers but most trainers install in game folder. but the never show up in aurora feature

SO i finally decided to replay this game while i wait for fallout 4. Im pretty sure i had the goty disc before, but got it again, this time both discs. well 2nd disc extracted wierd. it didnt say disc 2 it says disc 1 etc. but i extracted it. got an xex, content folder installer.ini which says nothing really cept tu3 which i have. when i launch the xex get an error about content. was thinking of using the licensecleaner to see if that fixes the content. but like u say using the content probably wont work, and explains why all 5 dlcs are 2gbs. swizzy, the licensecleaner doesnt seem to work in xp, tried several computers, i know it worked in win10, i have win7 i can use if needed. any idea why it doesnt work on xp tho?

maybe double check that the games are not archived(zipped) or anything.

Perfect. I was thinking something like that. Im sure thats the problem, net framework out of order etc. Also, i had to "insert guest adfitions cd image" to get shared folders or usb working within the virtual machine. Its an option on the top of the vm screen. Ctrl (rightside ctrl)+C will exit scaled mode to show the menu. Extracting a game now. USing the VM did work so that makes my goal easier esp since i already have the software and knowledge with windiws etc. im still messing around trying a few other options but I think this is my only way since i cant/wont compile my own programs. i tried using "ripper" couldnt get it going with my os, and tried "iso master" but couldnt figure out how to use that program, only thing it tries to extract is a read me.

I found the software manager, so that makes everything pretty simple on linux. i also installed wine using commandline, so that does work, but software manager is the way to go. it was right in front of my face the whole time lol. i also installed a virtual machine, with windows xp, took a while. when using a virtual machine, make sure you DO NOT use more than half of your ram for the vm. I havent used any programs i need yet, but i need to put a few games back on my internal tonight. im sure the VM will work just fine for everything, unless windows xp is the culprit. pretty sure all of my current xbox programs work on xp just fine. maybe run into problems with net4.0 not sure why but i have trouble getting horizonmb and godspeed etc to work last time i tried due to something to do with net framework. i had a few of them, esp 4.0 and reinstalled etc. maybe i need all of them, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4 etc

thanks, looks good, installing now. yeah I think your right. Either needs to run a bit and load the covers into memory or it doesnt show them all 100%. still looks cool. You should have a cover for every game app etc. if not make one, but evrything has a cover. so if the covers are just slow loading, who knows... mine are slow loading on the outside of "walls" but the middle is fine etc

Im somewhat clueless as to SCripts also... I understand the basic concept of what a script is (automated "actions") from a computer angle. SO im guessing its like a trainer? I assumed they were the same thing? Or what kind of scripts are available?

I would assume this statement is true, I had to play on TU1 for a long time, but I didnt get the game working til end of november too. maybe the CP included that kind of stuff, I think I had camo on TU1 but im not sure of that. I still have to use TU1 for trainers, so next time ill check.

yeah maybe down the road i can look into a more advanced linux os. but for now this is a good learner os esp with all of this info and links.

Im positive on this. And I double checked. Press Triangle and you can choose from camo's, and special zombie camo's as well. Both my guns have camo on each class. Possibly you might have to unlock them, or unlock more, by playing, esp if on live. Me, all guns and maybe all camos are already unlocked by default. Im not too sure what all the nextgen versions have, but i know they include a campaign and the der riese remake zombie map pack. kinda bummed i dont have that map. but i do have a ps4 so i can get it eventually.

Good to know, i actually used ubuntu a few years ago just to try and read the drive from my laptop. im going to give it a shot again since im on a linux desktop now. That would make sense about your theory regarding the water damage. I cant remember what she said if it was on, but I would imagine its damaged. I rememebr when i first got my ps4 tried it again (my previous BackwordsCompatabilePS3 played the drive), sure enough it worked. i watched a few movies or something then it died but was able to read again. was a bummer to lose it tho cuz i consolidated my other 2 drives and organized everything, esp the movies and music.

i know you can change the camo like previous games, but thats about it. to do this just press triangle i think, while looking at your actual gun in create a class.

Is there any way to change the default logo? I kind of dislike the white background. that is all. would prefer a dark background for the boot logo so its not such a transition from fakeanim to aurora.

So this is a wierd hardware type of mystery.... i have a 2tb western digital external hard drive. usb 3 etc. supposibly my ex wife dropped water on it or something... no burn smells. of course computers and everything else dont "read" it BUT PS3 and PS4 BOTH PLAY MOST FILES, but cant copy them usually maybe the small files. So im wondering why the PS systems can detect and somewhat use the drive and others refuse or freeze. im pretty sure the drive is useless, but someday i might rip it open and try to use it as an internal...but find it hard to believe a "case transfer" will fix the problem, even with a format. the files are media so no biggie, but still.

i havent ran this for a while, but i think theres an option somewhere. but i remember that using the default screen size worked the best.

ive wondered this also! personally i didnt like AW much BO3 I like. Bo2 was cool but i prefer 3, thats just me. mainly cuz i like the zombie mode. blacks ops 2 zombies i didnt play a whole lot but it seemed off. i like the multiplayer too but still... i love playing zombies with other players!
