if worst comes to it you could add your 360 to the DMZ zone of your router but as suggested have you tried playing any games at all?

you need to update your xell, dashlaunch FSD and metro dash (official) here If you get stuck, I'm bored, RAR your nand and cpu key and send me it and I'll build one for you. Important that you RAR it so no data is lost in transition...if you wanna, if not then follow the tuts.

xenon.elf is normally not needed, what colour xell did you have? Black or Blue?

your way over complicating the process. All you want to do is udpate "xell" "dashlaunch" and the stock dash. If you do not have a copy of your nand and cpu key on your pc which you should have as a matter of course then unplug all hard drives, power on the machine using eject and wait for it to show you the IP address of your machine, or go into your router and find it that way.... all your looking for is your IP address of the 360. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A COPY OF YOUR NAND then stick the ip address into chrome or firefox or I.E and then download it that way then follow the tut below. Download xeBuild_GUI_2.091, (this version has dash 16537) then from there you can build your image, it's really straight forward, it will build an image for you that you can then put on a formatted FAT32 usb key. (you would put this file on the root of the USB key and then power your machine on with the eject and it should then update xell) when you open the program, load your source file (your nand) then a little further down you load your CPU key... you should then see all green "ticks" along the bottom of xebuild... (this is the old way to do it but in your case sounds like the best way for now.) if you don't see all green ticks then don't proceed and report back. Generate your image, this will make a file called "updflash.bin" copy this to a fresh formatted usb FAT32 key, stick it in your xbox and power it on with "eject" let it update..... http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/2376-how-to-fix-non-booting-console-after-dashlaunch-update/

if you are on dash 16537 and you have updated your jtag xell, then download the official m$ update from xbox 16573, change the name of it to $$ystemUpdate, put this folder on a freshly formatted USB stick (FAT32) and go to default dashboard, put it in the machine and it will tell you that you have security updates etc. do you want to proceed, click yes and it will update your avatars etc. ONLY DO THE OFFICIAL UPDATE IF YOU ARE SURE YOU HAVE UPDATED YOUR XELL TO 16537 !!!!!! http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/2205-xebuild-108-update-tutorial/page-12

you could help by not posting the same question all over the board, your other thread you say "it worked" and then you say it hasn't so your very confusing. make sure you have formatted your USB key to FAT32. and have placed the updflash.bin on the root of your freshly formatted USB key. (EXFAT32 windows 7 and windows 8 is NOT fat32)

As long as disc one is extracted and put in the folder (as per screen shot) then you can have disk 2 where ever you want as long as you paths in FSD will pick it up, it has been explained loads of times on here bud. Disk one has to be extracted using the said software as mentioned and not using ISO2GOD Disk two, you extract and put where you want using ISO2GOD. have fun

Step 1, right-click both game iso's, click properties and un-check "read only" so can be extracted without the error "access in denied" Step 2, download "xbox image browser v2.9.0.350" or "xbox back up creator" and Disc 1 MUST be extracted to HDD or USB/content/0000000000000000/00000002 directory. (you should have 4 files) Step 2.5, do NOT use ISO2GOD on disc 1, it didn't create the 00000002 folder and caused "cannot read disc" error. etc. Step 3, extract Disc 2 to where you other games are example: HDD/Games/GTAV/Disc 2 (using ISO2GOD etc.) Step 4, make sure FSD is updated to FSD 3.0B REV775 if not, check "beta updates" and restart console. If that doesn't work, update it manually. Step 5, make sure you are running the latest dashboard 16537 and installed the avatar update

nope. get your USB drive formatted using that tool, use another computer, anything to format it FAT32, windows 8 will only give you NTFS and exfat..... EXFAT is not "fat32" try attached...... Fat32FormatterEN.zip

not you mate....... Windows 8 might be formatting it as "exfat32" rather than "true" fat32 download the attached program and try again. Guiformat FAT 32.rar

it's updflash.bin (and I'm sure I asked, how are you formatting the stick) which USB slot are you using on the 360? all other drives un-plugged?

might not be though mate, as have deleted the forum from Tapa, I seem to be getting logged out on the PC all the time. any ideas?
