Thanks for the fix. I thought the whole project had been abandonned. Now i can be hopeful again to see Netiso coming one day !

Just saw that the dev stopped... too bad i must admit i was waiting patiently for NetISO (i use a NAS for iso loading through connectx atm but ye SMB version is full of vulnerabilities, tho it’s just a home server so as long as no one breaches in my network i’m safe)

I have never been part of the translation team but if you have trouble getting ahold of someone to translate to french, i would be more than happy to do so.

As someone already said, it will come out when it comes out, so far i'm enjoying aurora 0.6. As my thanks it was more of a general "you" not only to you of course. Last but not least, since you seem to know some stuff, i just realized i forgot some question for the network features : - What about xbla games ? As those are not iso at all and they all work with connectx. (Maybe connectx will be able to live along netbios ? don't know what are the plans there, maybe configure netbios path but also connectx would be possible ?) - And also, do you happen to know if with iso format, the installer discs will work or do we still need to copy the content manually to the inner drive (it's already done for me but just in case one of my xbox dies and have to replace it without having to do that or if some people might be interested to know :p) Thanks to the free work of all involved, don't matter the time it takes, we all have lives and we are all growing older so family and stuff

Anyway knowing that there is work ongoing on a better network solution for those of us (which are i guess not so numerous) currently using connectx to not be bothered by some external hard drive or copying internal each and every game is a very good thing to hear. Thanks again for your free work

I do use connectx too as i have 2 modded xbox (1 in living room 1 in the room) but both are connected with rj45 and my xpenology NAS as well. Most of the games do work upon LAN for me but the speed is about 4MB/sec (32 Mb) so i get some lag sometimes. Some games just go directly to black screen and i have to copy them internally (south park, shadow of the mordor,..). I have no idea if it is linked to the speed performance issue but if it is I also would love to see an improvement to 11MB or so which is the 100 Mb theoritically available.

It will come out but if people keeps commenting with things such as « it is useless to release it, the console is dead, etc. » it might result in them reconsidering releasing it. As said by another one meanwhile you can still enjoy aurora 0.6 which is already way better than FSD (at least to me as FSD kept crashing due to my number of games) or you can play on another piece of hardware or even better enjoy life maybe.

Just dropping by, I actually thought 0.6b was the last version ever to be released. I’m glad to see I was wrong I’m looking forward for proper dvd support (as i confess I have some original games and my legit xbox died) and for save games management. Thanks for all your hard & free work.

1) You can edit a filter to add hide multi disk and then save that filter as default view for next reboot.

Maybe if you still have your old content.db you could find a way with SQL to Update the column displaying the name with the old name when the adress of the executable is the same in both old and new content.db

Ok so I've played a bit with it and it definitly is worth the donation I was planning A bit fastidious to do some of my filter (like when you want game that are rly only RPG you have to exclude all others with an AND NOT, would have been nice to have some = condition like genre = 'RPG', I'm guessing your filter are more like genre LIKE '%RPG%' AND NOT LIKE '%SHOOTER%'.... but I might be wrong as I don't know at all how aurora is coded) but once it is done it works perfect. The cover flow on 1200+ title is perfect (flowless) And yes I know why have so much I will never play them all, I'm a bit of a collector I guess. With connectx the initial loading of a game goes even faster than in FSD (before I had sometimes 10 seconds latency between the push on A button and the start of the game, now it is about 1 sec and the loading bar when installing title update but it is normal and in total takes anyway 5 seconds maximum) I only miss the fact that you have only one view for the cover flow but I guess some themes might change that (like in FSD some added new type of views) but I didn't take the time to look into it. Same if I want to do my filter in a faster way on a computer I dunno if it's possible, didn't check that yet or add some more icons (so far all my game genre filter are using the xbox360 default icon) I'm also wondering, is it possible to edit the cover of a title (or its title ID maybe with some xex editor ?), because some of my emulators have a default titleid like 000000 and so when I want to choose a cover from unity the titleID doesn't match so the xbox won't pick them up Also two bugs I noticed but I'm pretty sure you already know about it : When you create a filter if you add your conditions and save, the icon associated is gone, so you have to open the filter again then change icon and save, and the icon is back. But any change on a filter seems to reset icon to the "ugly cross". I dunno if it is normal or it's linked to the fact my profile is on a memory unit, but the http is not able to load the achievments of my profile. (error 404)

Yeah I know, was mostly a joke. I don't think I would be efficient anyway, lack of time, lack of development related knowledge, my only strong suit is SQL so not really handy for Aurora and too common of a knowledge as it is quite easy to manipulate. Anyway when it is done downloading and everything I will start using it when I play on week-ends, and if it is more stable than FSD I think it would be worth a small donation. So far I like the quite simple interface with the multiple possibilites offered on the game details view (TU, DLC, successes, saves, ...)

It is currently scanning and downloading for a lot of games, I will try it again tomorrow, maybe nothing will happen and it could also be linked to collection being empty. If I can reproduce it I will do a video (with sound ofc) PS : Also wasn't a one time thing, when collection was empty I did it 2 or 3 times and always frozen screen and the little sound just before and then nothing happens

Could be just me then, for information it is a jtag jasper 16 MB and when I did it collection was empty, I will do it again now that I have some games to see if it does it still (Also when I do it i hear the usual xbox sound)

I waited about 2 minutes. I will copy connectx and connectx patch to plugin from aurora and try again (I don't have any plugin activated on the launch.ini) I anyway edited my fsd settings swith sql after reentering my connectx credentials so i could have my game collections again without rescanning everything in case it wouldn't work for aurora. Seems everytime you change the connectx settings it created a new ScanPathDeviceID ending with _CONX Edit : Ok It worked, I guess I didn't take the time to read, i thought somehow the plugin was in the package but I had forgotten this connectx file isn't so legal to distribute...

I have an issue, I was on FSD before using connectx plugin (with the patch for the plugin) when i logged in aurora, everything was already set up on the connectx tab (computer name, share name, user and password), is it normal ? I've resetted all the fields and typed them again but i still don't see any connectx path to add for the scan content... PS : I don't know if it is a bug or supposed to be your famous easter egg, but system complete crashes when you push both LT and RT at the same time PS2 : Back on FSD my connectx is now f*ed up, i can't see any path even in FSD... dunno what i will have to do , need to find again the puling with the patch and the tutorial
