  1. They dont look like zombies as much as they look like aliens now though.
  2. Then M$ goes and retracts a bunch of crap... There's two more videos he did on this also which I'm actually going to spend around 1 1/2 hours of watching because this man has some really valid points!
  3. This guys pretty awesome and succinct in all his points that he's making.
  4. So after doing some further research I found out a really awesome workaround for lousy graphics with HD TV's. Scart to HDMI conversion for all retro consoles (Almost all retro consoles) Basically all the consoles were RGB but it was downmixed to composite here in the United State and just about every NTSC system. One awesome thing though is that European SCART cables which were primarily used for PAL systems are compatible with NTSC and even more so they don't downmix to lower grade 240p resolutions on consoles like Sega Genesis, Snes, and so forth. Basically it will take RGB and upscale it to 720p and 1080p and convert to HDMI. All you need is the converter, I'd think a multi-SCART adapter, and the specific SCART cable for the specific system in question. So for like a 70 dollar investment you can have full RGB on HD resolution. the different platform SCART cables range from $5.00- $24.00 depending on what system you want to use one with but it seems like a pretty awesome workaround!
  5. Here's a TuT from AT&T on setting up port forwarding for their Uverse routers. Between the OP TuT and this AT&T TuT, any uverse subscriber shouldnt have any problem getting LiNK going. http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB413180&cv=803
  6. Found a sneak peak of the Zombies for CoD BOPS 3 Reading all these comments made me chuckle. lol
  7. So yeah.. Juggernog minifridge with the special edition purchase of CoD Black Ops 3 http://www.rantgamer.com/2015/07/10/call-of-duty-black-ops-3-juggernog-edition-including-a-working-fridge-is-out-of-control/?utm_campaign=RantGamerFB&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=referral
  8. Thanks for the info, I'll look into replacing the cable with the one you suggested. That SATA adapter kit looks pretty epic but the drive will have issues with the ps2 if its over 1TB, I was reading on the psx forum and found some really good info on the subject here: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f98/what-ismax-ps2-hd-size-93120/
  9. Yeah I see the TOSLINK connector, as far as video goes though, I'm just using the standard component y/w/r cable that came with it. Had to lower the screen size on my 48" HDLED TV to 4:3 and create a custom brightness/sharpness/backlight profile to lower the chunkiness.
  10. Its a damn shame I can't just get a firmware upgrade for my ps2 that will allow for at least 480p resolutions.
  11. I used to run emulator with pcsx2 using Kodi as a frontend with Angelscry Advance Program launcher for it, MESS, MAME, and anything else under the sun that I wanted but in the end I wound up just only using my computer for my GNS3 and server stuff. Setting up that Kodi frontend in Linux was actually a bit of a challenege and I had Wine and DOSbox integration with it also.
  12. Thats cool but the cost in liquid nitrogen to keep the damned thing supercooled is insane.
  13. So I went and trade a JTAG Xenon yesterday for a Xbox Classic and a Fat PS2 with bad dvd laser BUT it came with the Network Adapter / Hard Drive module. How effin SWEET is that??!!?? Anyhoo, After doing some research and trying a TuT by some guy in Eastern Europe I was a bit miffed until I came across this youtube TuT. ONCE AGAIN: This is not my TuT, just a repost and all credit on this particular TuT goes to Project Pheonix Media Published on Feb 17, 2014 ***Read Below*** FHDB 1.93 Noobie Package essentially is the FMCB (Free McBoot), but running off a Fat PS2 hard drive. This is an awesome mod for those who want to do something cool with their PS2 hard drive. Did I mention this is the first video tutorial on Youtube ever on this subject? (as of 02/17/14). Important tip: When formatting the hard drive with winhiip, make sure that any drive over 128GB is using 48 bit hd loader when formatting and you must always (regardless of size) set erase mode to full. ---------------------------------------- --- *Links For the Video* FHDB main thread: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f153/unofficial-fhdb-1-93-noobie-package-obt-119562/ Useful links: WinHIIP 1.7.6: http://www39.zippyshare.com/v/9mwrggPY/file.html HDD Raw Copy Tool: http://www.hddguru.com/software/HDD-Raw-Copy-Tool/ -------------------------------------------
  14. Easiest way to rip a game is just put it in your RGH and copy it to your hard drive in its own folder then direct aurora to scan it.
  15. Could this explain some of the LiNK timeouts I've been having? I have a UPNP router and before I did the kernel update it had no problem seeing that, afterwards I've been intermittently having LiNK issues with connecting to lobbies and Unity connectivity tests. I was thinking maybe it was a server sided issue thinking that having the Nova test server was causing a bottleneck with the LiNK bandwidth. Just a guess really. Really looking forward to the next update that you guys release as each update makes what you guys work so hard on even better.
  16. Oh okay, maybe one day it could be exploited? Maybe not like something like LiNK but possibly for people who have multi-gpu gaming rigs or openstack servers.
  17. Even if a hack is made won't it still have issues with dealing with the cloud assisted rendering that the XBone does? Not sure as I don't have one but doesn't that mean a internet connection has to always be present for the device to function properly?
  18. Thats pretty epic taking in keyboard and mouse into a controller game. lol I could see a lot of people getting pissed of getting sniped with a high dpi optical mouse.
  19. 1.Dump your nand. 2. On the 360 dashboard, scroll over to the "System" tab. 3. On the System tab, click "Console Settings". 4. Scroll down in console settings and click "System Info". 5. When the system info box comes up type in this sequence LT RT X Y LB RB plus the combination shown on your nand dump in the smc editor.
  20. I'm beginning to understand the general demeanor with support for people who want instant solutions and do no learning. I really hope they read them too. There's a ton of good info that you guys churn out.
  21. That jump stomp attack is pretty epic too! Multiplayer is gona pwn so much! It'll be available for XB1 and PS4 also but honestly nothing holds a candle to good old keyboard and mouse aiming for FPS gaming like this. I know all the clan gaming is going to go insane.
  22. I sure wish this TuT was a sticky so that people could find it easier as its so hard to look down two posts from the last sticky..... You know what else would be nice? That people actually read said TuT's before requesting help on them.
