also how do you get xuitool to show the actual skin graphics like in your posted image instead of just the box elements?? Do you select a different view ?

thanks for all the help. I tried this but it's still not entirely correct. I had to use a lot of overscan adjustments to get it sort of the way I want it. Now I'm not sure if I need to keep the skin 1280x960 or 1280x720. I'll hit you up on IRC when I see you (perhaps make it the actual resolution of the screen which is 640x480?)

No so I don't understand why it's not centered. Everything is centered in the skin.

Here's what happens. The skin is correct, I even remade it just in case I missed something. For some reason it just doesn't line up right. I would suggest keeping it as simple as possible. I don't see anything that needs to be added imo. Just fix bugs if there are any and that's it.

Alright, I edited the Widescreen value in settings.db which removes the black borders (and stretches the default skin to fullscreen). I made a full screen skin so it wouldn't be stretched out on a 4:3 screen. I figured this would do the trick but it didn't quite work as planned. First, I edited Aurora_Main.xur: I changed properties from 1280x720 to 1280x960 (so from 16:9 to 4:3), then changed all the individual properties of all the elements in the skin to 1280x960. For some reason the whole skin gets shifted to the right. I will post pics of this later. I think is has to do with the widescreen fix, because without editing this value, the skin is nicely centered in the middle of the screen.

only thing it needs is an option to select your default skin. Apart from that, everything works flawlessly.

1) me too but not for long now 3) no idea, but not that much of a hassle, The fact that you can enable/disable them is pretty cool though. If you boot FSD first and then go into Aurora, I think it causes a few issues. You should just never do that imo. 4) I think it has to do with the freestyle plugin? 5) you can edit the default.xzp skin file to change colors.

would love to see the file size limit fixed, but in the meantime I think you can ftp the TU to the cache dir and that way you can activate it. Either that, or pop it in the content folder

fixed the black border issue aswell, default skin is 1280x720. I edited this to 1280x960 which is 4:3, removing black borders on 4:3 screens. Since arcade monitors are 640x480 this scales perfectly.

I even removed the crappy 12v fan mod someone did for me, and just set target temps in dashlaunch to 60. No problems ever since and a lot less noise.

keep it clean without too many extra features please, it's used to launch games, that's all it should do imo.

excellent. Some of the above titles ARE in the xboxunity db, only with japanese lettering/titles. Also, please add the CPX3 emulator aswell, it doesn't have a Title or MediaID

is it possible to make a script that displays the folder name that the game is in , instead of the Title that's downloaded from Marketplace or Xboxunity? Would make it a lot easier to rename games So "string Directory;" instead of Title or something like that
