  1. The reason for the DNS problems is because of a dashlaunch setting... change it and you'll be able to go on live... however... you'll get banned within 24h
  2. Win8 have certain areas which it cannot run applications properly even with admin rights (run as admin)... for instance the root of any device... not sure if it's also with desktop? try putting it in like "My documents"?
  3. Then it's probably a problem with the TU files you've downloaded... try removing all of 'em and re-downloading?
  4. Where are you running it from? try putting it in another place and running it?
  5. Same as 0.0.4 except you download the 0.0.3 package
  6. Latest version of XeLL shouldn't make a difference, however... it might work better with v0.0.3 of XMPlayer, that's the next step in troubleshooting videos freezing... <--- this video says it all
  7. Does it appear no matter what game you active a TU for? (as in, if you put a TU for one game, does another stop working?)
  8. Then i would suggest running F3 from a usb memory and removing the old files in the folder on the internal MU and putting the new ones there...
  9. CSO to ISO? just change the option of direction
  10. No, from what i understand you're running it from USB1? if so, change it to "default = usb:Freestyle 3default.xex", this will make it launch from the usb when it's plugged in when it's in when you start the console...
  11. Probably something with the path for "default = intmu:FSDDefault.xex" On a side note; BUT_X is useless with this configuration, just use RB...
  12. Sorta, i recommend adding a second folder and placing the files there instead... you make it autoboot by editing the default = ... in launch.ini
  13. They? Well, you can download F3 from here, then just unpack it to a folder like "F3" or so on your internal harddrive (over ftp of course) then you just launch that instead of FSD 2.2
  14. Try running it from xell instead of using dashlaunch, that might solve the problem...
  15. If you connect a network cable do you get an error message on the screen? or could you check the secondary error? (secondary error code is checked the same way you check for the RROD error code)
  16. ok, so the dashboard isn't the issue... clearing cache removes leftover files & tu's... Go to the system settings and find storage, then you press Y -> Clear Cache~
  17. "OnboardMU:" is a 256MB, 512MB or 4GB memory on the motherboard, if you have a Jasper or Corona it's built in, if you have a Trinity it's a module connected inside the console to the motherboard "Game:" is the directory which contains the files for the currently running game (not a seperate device, just a mount point)
  18. Ok, have you tried clearing the cache on your console? What dashboard are you currently running?
  19. Then your console doesn't know you have a HDD... verify that it's connected properly You don't need the installer to install it, you can just ftp it over
  20. Music can be played using the built in media player, watching movies while playing a game?! that's not going to happen... In order to listen to music while having a game running start the game, press the guide button and use the Music player here
  21. Try not having ALL title updates enabled at the same time? maybe enable for a few games at a time will solve the problem? i mean you don't play ALL games you have EVERY time you want to play? besides... you don't have to download them again all the time if using F3...

    xell & dash

Yes, the latest xeBuild package includes the latest XeLL aswell, and when you build a new NAND image it always include the XeLL that is included with the package (or whatever file you replaced it with) Well, if there's any benefits depends on what model of machine you have, and what version you have now...
  23. probably not as there's been no reply since april

    xell & dash

What's that "automated updater" you speak of? The closest thing i know of is xeBuild which only updates dash/xell/avatar... not FSD... it is also NOT a tool made by JPizzle
  25. Nobody can tell you that, it's different for each model and depending on if you hacked it or not... Retail consoles lasts longer without any form of issues (hacks generally comes with one or more complications in some form), Older models last shorter time then the newer ones...
