I shall be sticking with FSD until I get rid of RGH's Christ they only have about 2 more years shelf life anyway so waste of time as it will take all that time to get it 100%

This Aurora really worries me, I feel its a MASSIVE step backwards from what we have on FSD, while I do like the look of it I feel its just basically FSD stripped of all important highly used features with a new skin. If basically this is being developed by some if not most of the guys that brought us FSD why not just carry on developing what I and most feel is the best thing we have ever had for a RGH/JTAG. While using Aurora I just feel like its xexmenu with coverflow, no essential features exc title updates, but isn't it still just using FSD core looking into it seems just as I said FSD stripped and basic. When you click the xbox home button it still says Freestyle Home? If completely built up new from the core wouldn't it not say Aurora again just seems like a naked feature-less FSD Having everything thrown into one for me is awful I hate having everything mixed up. FSD felt smooth and fast when going through all you games say like holding the LT button flipped through them fast and smooth, Aurora feels slow and looks dark on some of the layouts the default one esspecially, I was able to change a CLayout.xml file on FSD and have 29 I think or more layouts and really miss the ones I had liek the one that flipped the box over as you when through them spinned it Fsd is amazing its a fully featured Dash everything setup how you would want it. Having everything in its own section is what made it so great and FSD was going in the right direction making it better and better everytime and more advanced. Why make it basic we are all technical and advanced I'd say else you wouldn't have a JTAG/RGH (wouldn't be able to use one) so having something so basic really dissapoints me highly, I was really happy with FSD and the way it was going and now I feel left, well quite sad if this is what we now have and have to look forward to. I appreciate all that you do I wouldn't be able to do it, but please give us a option gives us a better faster working FSD with new and more features with the option to lets say "DUMB" it down to what Aurora is. I have so much stuff on my RGH on so many different devices and not having a FILE MANAGER is bad we need that, and loosing things like the weather app on it was nice to have and also when Aurora is loaded it is simply a list of games we need to have sections where we can have our xbox360 games/xbla games/homebrew/emulators and xbox original games and maybe add a faviourte section or a custom section. I do love the new look but why not just keep all the features of FSD with the new look, I miss not having the temps and HOW MUCH SPACE IS ON EACH OF MY DEVICES ON THE TOP. I dont kno what to say just if you are the same guys that brought us FSD why not just revamp it keep all the features and give us a option to load direct into coverflow but please please I beg you don't get rid of all the stuff, christ my 8 year old son uses FSD and finds it easier and better to use that Aurora. Also it doesn't fit on my screen correctly and theres no fan speed support we now have to use other stuff to do all this making it in the end just more annouying and more time consuming yes it may run quicker and better (I personally have been using FSD for years and never had a issue) but in the long run becuase Aurora doesn't have all the features we are used to we have to find other ways and other programs to do these things in turn doesn't make it better or faster or even more reliable. I kno its in Alpha stage and its great you have put this out here for everyone to try and test couple things that I have noticed for some reason there are lots and lots of covers not downloading but when I run FSD it finds these covers and downloads them now slightly wierd as its getting them from the same place correct? as a example my son wanted me to put Bakugan DOTC on my RGH which i did but Aurora wouldn't download a cover I check unity.net and theres no cover on there but when I ran FSD it found one and downloaded it. Also seem a lot of these new covers its downloading covers people have made personal ones not official ones which I don't like on FSD all the covers are the official xbox360 ones but 30% or more of the 300+ xbox360/xbla games I have are poorly made covers so to have the option would be nice, also same with all my homebrew and emulators on Aurora they have no covers but on FSD they do also being able to connect to FSD through FTP and the Webgui app is great Im sure you'll bring this to Aurora as well (I hope) also when using the filters seems to be a bug having two selected just makes all the games go and shows 0 games I'd just like to say please in no way take any offence to my kind of rant you guys are amazing and what you have done for the modded console community has been amazing and as I have said a few times I love the new look of Aurora I just don't want to have a basic dumbed down version of FSD there's even more features on FSD which I forgot that's not here I just really don't want to basic feature-less dash else I might as well just go back to using xexmenu. FSD will continue to work great for a long time I hope and if this is the way the new dash is going to be then I have to say I will not be using it, what we needed was for a updated fresh new look FSD packed with more features and more advanced stuff please we need these features, While everyone is saying oh cool amazing looks great, I have to say that's how anyone feels when there getting some new stuff for there console but once you use it and realise how basic it is most say they won't be using it unless it has more features So again no haters I just wanted to say how I felt and again take no offence to what I say I love what you do guys and keep it up, just give use more not less, Thank you

I'm really disappointed that FSD is no longer going to be updated and worked on, I have to say I do appreciate what you guys are doing for the community and all the hard work that goes into doing this. But without (I'm sure) people having a go at me, I have to say I don't like it (Aurora). I personally never had a issue with FSD and I feel that by now we should have more better and also advanced features I personally feel like this is a massive step backwards. I understand its in Alpha phase but you can see where its going and primary features of Aurora. Having the sections tabs and full featured dash on FSD is what made it so great. It feels like FSD stripped down to its bare essentials with new skins. I will say I love the look of it though you guys have done great there the win 8 metro kind of feel is really nice feels like your on xbox.com website so I commend you guys for that which is a great improvement. But please consider possibly having a full dash like FSD had with menu's and tabs with a option where you can have it boot directly into coverflow, to satisfy everyone, as I'm sure the reason you have made that choice to boot directly into coverflow and not have sections is a 50/50 some will love it and some won't. That what I'm seeing on a couple of the most popular moding sites online that have made a thread about this. To take the advantages and features that FSD had and just get rid of them for me a many others feels like a huge step back and in a sense its just xexmenu with covers and TU's. So I hope and really like to see a possible option to either have the full experience of a dash with sections/menu's/tabs or have it boost directly into coverflow Please don't take any offence to this I couldn't do what you do and I thank the people like you guys everyday for making my RGH/Moding experiences I have everyday great fun and enjoyable and for that I can't thank and admire the work you guys do, but as I said my only issue is it feels like a massive step backwards, if I was to loose having the full menu system and only boot into coverflow with everything all in that I'd be really gutted. One other thing I would like to ask on FSD and Aurora there are different ways you can set your covers (Game Boxes) different views, on FSD there was a file you could replace that gave you about 20+ different views that was widley used and some of them which aren't in Aurora although most are the same as from FSD with the added couple new ones (the full game layout looks cool) you would change this file> CLayout 3 it had+29 All 100% TESTED new layouts its a 16KB XML file which I'm sure you know but just in-case can this be used at all to add all of the extra box layouts? if not could these be added some are very popular and would be a great ad continue with the great work your work gives us so much joy

Hey I too used to have this problem as I have so many devices I have a 4GB IntMU and a Internal HDD1 and 1TB external HD with a 32GB Xbox Configured parttion, and a 32GB Xbox Config USB so yeah lol, I had the same issue, I'll put a link below for you its the latest xm360v2.0d and I have updates the dlc and xbla titles as of the 29Nov13 which took hours and I have manually edited the config file so it now has extra search paramiters now it will search all your usb devices for xbla and dlc this will fix your proble mate enjoy. Just download and extract to your homebrew folder delete your old xm360 folder extract mine and then run it to see it now searches all devices I also have put a text file inside called Extra Searches for you to see how to manually change the config file to add searches like searching your external HD specific folder for xbla games Download> https://www.mediafire.com/?553664dd846ay4i

So I have the lastest FSD everything is at its lastest and I have no issues with anything I've been using my RGH Trinity over a year without any problems, I have a 4GB Trinity RGHv2 16537 FSD3 775 (latest) Dashlaunch 3.10 etc. I have to say I'm loving all the new features but as I do a lot of modding creating and testing RTE's and Trainers I need to be able to use different TU's. Now as a example Black Ops 2 I have all the TU's 1-15. The issue I'm having is I want to select and activate TU14 to use and test some stuff but the game alsways runs with TU15 even though this TU is not selected even after a re boot and check the only TU selected is TU14 but when I run the game I check LiNK and instead of it saying TU14 selected and that 15 is available it always runs with TU15 when 14 is selected. This is the same with all games again example Diablo I have all TU's 1,2,3. If I select TU1 and play the game it should only use TU1 but it doesn't it always runs with the latest even though its not selected same goes for if I de-select all TU's for a game it will automatically use the newest, this is causing me some issues and really annoying as I have to manually delete all the TU's after the one I want to use just so I can use it. No to bad if the TU is only say 5MB but when they are 100MB each it can be very annoying can anyone help with a fix or is it just a bug that hopefully will be rectified as this never used to do this before. (Also I know this has nothing to do with FSD but I was hoping someone may be able to answer if not its no problem I will go to the relevant place but as I said above my RGHv2 16537 all latest everything is up to date. Since I updated to 16537 I cannot use the zenon.elf to run mupen64 anymore I have read all over people are saying it gets stuck on fat mount uda0 on xell because its not compatiaible with Hitachi drives, well that's rubbish because since the day I got my RGH I've always used it but since the 16537 update I did its not working xell gets stuck on fat mount uda0, even with everything disconnected and only using a Fat32 32GB USB stick (note this is the same one I've always used and it was fine before) I have tried all version of the mupen64 including the latest one Again I understand if I can't get help on this one just wanted to throw this question out there at the same time as these are the two big issues I'm having and it would make me very happy if I can fix them, cheers guy's I know you are the greatest so I hope I can get the help ) I wish someone would make a .xex format n64 emu

Loving the Family Guy and Star Wars, only thing I would like to ask is the Family guy Open Tray picture being the same as the main background pic is the only thing I would change I've linked you to a picture would you change the open tray picture to this picture below would be amazing, the star wars one looks good both being the same on the open tray and background just to me a different pic would make it even better I love these though some of the best skins I've seen great work. Hi, like others are saying you really should change to a static IP it will stop a lot of problems now and in the future, but it totally depends on your ISP and router. Myself in the UK on top spec Virgin Media broadband upnp I can change my IP and switch between dynamic and static if I wanted to. I've been a telecoms engineer for 11+ years so I should be able to help you and I will as much as I can.
