Thanks for taking the time to respond and I understand things are getting a little long in the tooth, I could do this line by line and add them in to a SS this way. Don't know how to do this my self, just not as talented as most folks on here..I've spent most of the school holidays rebuilding a HDD for the kids console, just wanted a better way to manage the titles and I only recently looked at Asset Editor as I have some indie games with no covers which I am trying to see if I can make one, but like I said I ain't that talented PEACE Kosti

Happy New 2018 RMS teams! Finally sorted this HDD transfer over, was the damn China copy version of the MS cable, after I bought one online, I was able to backed up my drive, transfer content via XBOX and off it went. One thing the XBOX didn't transfer was any mulitdisc games I had an a unique folder, apart from that seems to be ok as I tested and play some random games and it doesn't look like that after a fresh format and a image restore anything is broken although I came across Minecraft Story Mode Black Screens now, apart from that, it all seems ok I know Xplorer360-1tb is old and probably no longer used or supported but I found it doesn't state restore was completed, its just hangs or zombies, so after leaving for about 30 minutes after the progress bar had completed I just hit cancelled and it appears it actually restored from the backup image perfectly. (make sure you run it in admin mode) I did find some useful comments about XBOX and MS OS regarding Xplorer, so I've linked it here for future references How to Fix Xbox HDD PEACE Kosti

Hey All Bit of an update..not going so well I used Xplorer360-1tb to back a backup image of my current 1TB drive from my JTAG 360, all good their as its about 900MB+ is the image size I then powered up my new RGH and had installed a new 1TB HDD and formatted this in the xbox360, then used my xbox transfer cable to connect up my JTAG360 HDD and waited for the transfer message to pop up, but nothing..I go to the storage and it shows 2 devices yet the JTAG HDD is showing up as unformatted..WTF? I tried a number of different combinations, with the transfer cable but no dice!, i read on a few threads here and there suggesting the HDD is shot, but I plug this back into the original XBox and all games profiles etc are fine..what gives? I'm going to try and buy another transfer cable, and will also buy a couple of new 1TB HDD as mine have been kicking around for a few years now, but I am confused why I was simply just going to use the transfer cable to "move" the content on to the new HDD in the RGH box and then restore the wiped HDD from the back up image.. I'm losing my mind...Any idea chaps? PEACE Kosti

I've been doing a look around and came across FATXplorer, just don't know much about it and I am hoping the 7 day trial will be enough just not sure if it will clone the HDD. I was thinking of using a raspi and use linux command dd to make a simple clone device, but my raspi is only usb2 so that would be slower than FTP I may just try and build it from scratch and Filzilla to FTP, I'm pretty sure 1TB of data will take forever! Greeting and Happy Holidays RMS Crew and Peeps! Another year, wow how time flys and now with school holidays again and I'm at it once more trying to keep the kids under control during the school holidays. I recently acquired an RGH Black Japser and wanting to know the best method to clone the drive from my current JTAG HDD over to the newly acquired RGH with the same size internal HDD. I have a 1TB in my white 360 and was hoping I could simply clone the entire drive over to another 1TB HDD for use in the black 360. I was going to try an use a clone app in windows, but not sure which is ideal for an Xbox formatted drive as I was planing on using easeus partition to clone? Should I perhaps use xplorer360 1TB version to back up each partition then add this to the new HDD, or alternatively I could just use fileziller and FTP across each file which would take forever. Ideally I don't want to sit and watch this for the next 30+ hours it could potentially take to move each file across so wondering if there is a better smoother and faster option? I do have the old transfer xbox cable, but I read up this actually moves the content across and wipes the old drive, if only MS allowed to keep the content it would be less painful So looking for advise to either [1] Use Partition tool in windows to clone everything or use the APP to only copy what has been used on the drive [2] Use xplorer360 to comply image to a storage drive then use the restore option on the new drive [3] FTP all content from one drive to the new [4] Backup main drive via either step 1-3 then use transfer cable to move content to new drive, then restore backup to wiped drive (original HDD) after transfer completes Please let me know as only 4 days until XMAS where I plan to give them the RGH box PEACE Kosti

Just on the subject of JRunner is it correct to assume without going the oldskool way of cmd line (no offense Swizzy) that Jrunner is to update the nand via programing it by using say a matrix board and glitch board for a un modded console? As JR is not talking to any servers to update xeBuild and Dashlaunch can one just add in the files to jrunner in the correct folders? If I update the files in the folders of JR for xebuild and Dashlaunch files, would that still work? If so would I expect to see the proper version being displayed in the bottom of JR?

@ Juanii, nice, not sure I how to get SQL lite or really know where to find TU or the latested DLC, I would love that too, so if you want me to test stuff out happy to try em

For me it's was a possibly simply / easier way to catalogue them and I can build a spreadsheet to know if I get certain larger title updates is available to know what title id it goes in etc, was just something I was thinking could be useful to add, Its not a must have but hey I thought I'd ask Appreciate the feedback Thanks again team! Hi Aurora Team Apology in advance if this has already been posted or requested, but I wanted to know if it is possible to get a text file or extract a list of titles via the file manager to a csv file or similar? I like that in File Manager it shows the titles names and the ID of each, I should have started a spreadsheet with them before I transferred them all to the HDD so hoping there is a way instead of a manual typing them out... Feel free to delete this if it's not the correct place to ask for such feature or if it's been covered already, Thanks! Cheers Kosti

Hi Team I would like to see something like this and also perhaps title lock out for certain titles as I found my 10yr old playing and 15+ game when I was out...So yes it's patially may fault, but is there are way to lock these other than hide the titles which they have worked out how to unhide them, LOL Cheers Kosti

Oh no I hope they don't get deleted...damn, they took ages to dwnld from my crappy ISP.... So I found a Avatar package that contained about 2GB of what I think are Avatars, they all seem to be GOD type structure folder for example there is a Bruce Lee folder (413607D7/00009000/00000008CAAC0232C4B90861413607D7) where should I be putting these should I just FTP them into content folder or add them to a USB stick and just move them from the USB to the console? I went through and performed title updates on the titles I have backed up on my xboxHDD, and not sure if this is normal, but if I change profiles are these still using the same TU or must I do this for all profiles I ask as I noticed in Aurora, when I change profile, titles that are hidden show up when these were marked as hidden in Aurora menu, is this a bug in Aurora or how is' supposed to work? So I was a little bored due to the crappy whether and while the kids were out I took the console and gave it a clean and tried to make it cooler since temps where sitting around 70oC with about 10 degrees different between cpu and gpu I removed the motherboard from the console and cleaned up all the thermal paste above, I then added some copper shims .05mm and .3mm on cpu and gpu below added a touch of thermal paste on both sides added back HSF and installed back into console You can see the temps below after about 10min of gaming below, I forgot to take a picture prior to this quikc mod but it did help a lot dropped about 10oC-20oC with no change in Fan speeds - I may tweak the fan upto about 50% in dashlaunch just to be safe since it lived in the kids room.. Caution though since these shims are conductive you have to be careful how you replace the heatsinks otherwise you could short this out and blow up your console. Its probably an over kill and just a fresh coat of thermal paste would probably be enough to bring down temps, but as copper is a better thermal conductor and I had them from another mod I done on a few tablets, so I figured why not give it a go Now to play around and find a cool skin to use in Aurora! OK, this is what I done I pick a title say minecraft then select Y scroll down to Title Updates, then right bumper and download a TU, in this case I grabbed #35 for minecraft then left bumper and enable that TU..ok that's fine I can do this but always assumes it grabbed the latest TU without my choosing a title and drilling down to getting them manually and I am not sure about base version since I am only now starting to figure all this out.. What's the tip for changing title covers and I can see them and can download them to my HDD but can I choose different covers in Aurora? On another side note, I ran into an issue with a title that was in a folder so the title was already extracted from an iso or ripped form disc, when I used createISO and then iso2GOD. However when I launch the title in my console the game it doesn't load at all and so I tried the process again a few times with the same issue. I did get the title working just by FTP the whole folder to the console and pointed a path to it in Aurora and the title works fine...So I am not sure now why this occurred and now starting to worry I have converted almost all my titles to GOD and fear I may have to reverse some due to this issue, so far two titles didn't work when converted to GOD.. On a final note, Hey Swizzy did u end up finishing off XISO extractor GUI? maybe I can try this or xbox backup creator still good enough Cheers Kosti

Yes, I've tried TU update in Aurora, it scans but but no files are downloaded and no TU show up anywhere so I must be doing something wrong? Do I need to be logged into xboxunity, as my credentials are in the fields and API key from memory Is it good practice to have all files in GOD or leave them as ISO as I thought GOD reduced the foot print of the game by padding where required, or is it still the same size? Not that it matters in terms of size as I am now using a 1TB drive. Mmm, I've going to just manually try a few for now Cheers Kosti

All this time I had no idea there was TU updates just covers on xboxunity... OK so I need to understand why they don't get updated on my console since I have an account on xboxunity - is it because most of my titles are in GOD / XBLA format and dumped in the HDD1:Content/0000000000000000/ location? I've tried to use Aurora to search for TU update, but it doesn't add anything and so something is not right with my configurations.. For example I was trying to get minecraft DLC's working and this came with a TU.19 that I grabbed a while back. So I pushed to the console as per Horizon using the above method in my previous post.. So last night I checked xboxunity and saw there are more TU for minecraft like up in the 30's for same title, so why Aurora doesn't seem to update them on my console or is this a manual process? Side note - I did fix one issue with my PATHs in Aurora configuration and that was I was entering a path for every title I had and although this worked ok, it was a pain to manage all these paths, so I then tried to just point the path to the following HDD1:Content/0000000000000000/ and selected a depth of 7 and all my covers redownloaed and fixed my missing cover for Bass Fishing, but some cover came up blank again.. I've almost got this thing licked but still learning and now that I know I can download TU via unity I will just pushed them vie the USB method PEACE Kosti

Thanks again all for the feedback and guidance chaps! Well I managed to get this TU sorted for this title by using horizon to push the TU to a USB stick and then move it from the USB stick via the nxe 360 dash and it put it where it should go . This created a 3rd folder HDD1:Content/0000000000000000/<gametitleID>/0000B000 from memory and I had created the 00000002 folder for thebunch of files as the DLC wasn't just one file it was a bunch of files. I somehow buggered it up and I just deleted the title and reinstalled it, pushed the TU via USB and the game finally saw the DLC, kids were happy and I was a super dad once again I honestly thought TU was performed by Aurora? So does that mean I need to do this for all my other titles? PEACE Kosti

Hey All I would like to say thank you for all the hard work across all aspects of the 360 scene. Not sure why all the push as people keep saying there is nothing left to be done and the scene is dead, why keep asking for updates? For me it's not "dead" as when you have young kids, they don't care that pacman was out in the 80's as long as I can get it to work so for me its important to be able to keep my kids entertained while away from school and we're stuck inside because the weather is crap and too cold at the same time given them the experience of how a console should work Without Aurora, n00bs like me wouldn't have a clue on how to do this and that, I never really played with FSD as this is how late I got my RGH. I do hope this is not dead and I look forward to testing any beta releases as 0.5b has been rock solid for me now nearly for 12mths on.. I still don't do half as much as people on here with there console and it's great to be able to trial titles that would sometimes be out of reach for people like me who try to run a large family So again, thanks heaps DEVS and other contributors, u guys truly ROCK and I'm sure we'll enjoy what comes next..
