GTA V issue ('Try downloading the game again' error)
Swizzy replied to Fellype Nascimento's topic in Games
Sure, don't use the TU... and maybe doublecheck the game data... the TU might be cause of the problem, that's why i recommend not using it... sure, it contains bugfixes but it can also cause other bugs, it also don't really add anything to offline playing -
Do you have a huge ammount of movies in there? that could be the cause...
-
Are you trying to access it while in a game? are you using the latest version of F3?
-
Check your settings, did you read the tutorial to set it up?: http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/439-how-to-set-up-f3-and-link/If not, do it!
-
Then i recommend you reformat it in your computer to FAT32... then format it in the xbox again and install everything again, that should hopefully solve it...
-
Check the health status of your new harddrive, if you don't... i won't help you any more on the matter... it's most likely a harddrive issue... etheir something wrong with the hardware itself or a write error at some point...
-
could be, could also be that your new harddrive isn't all that healthy, even new hdd's fresh from the factory may contain errors, so don't rule it out as the cause of your problems...
-
That's easy, you put it in the consoles HDD port (SATA) then you enter the settings menu, followed by finding the "storage" or "memory" menu, there you see the harddrive as unformatted (when it's wrong) then you simply press the button to format it and follow the on screen instructions... (you'll need your serial number)If you want to check the HDD status i suggest you download http://crystalmark.info/download/index-e.html this tool and connect your HDD to any available SATA port, it'll not be shown in windows... but you'll see which drive it is anyways...
-
It's probably the harddrive that is causing all your issues... try replacing it, or checking the S.M.A.R.T status with a PC
-
This problem can be caused by numerous things: 1. Bad (corrupt) data 2. Bad harddrive 3. Old/Corrupt dashboard file(s) 4. Bad Dashlaunch plugin to name a few
-
in that case, double check your ip, and of course make sure you are in the same local network =)
-
Filezilla works for sure, try setting it to active, that's how i get it to work... also check that the FTP server is enabled in FSD (you can disable it!)
-
Not sure if it saves the data, i don't really remember... my recommendation is that you backup the current data before formatting (configuring) the harddrive... that way you don't lose anything... Once you've formatted/oonfigured it for USBMU you can use the remaining space for whatever without a problem =)
-
1. Yes and No, you can use it from an external harddrive if it's "USBMU" (formatted by the box) this adds a maximum of 32GB of space... the TU needs to also be in USBMU or the internal memory's cache/content folder, depending on the type of TU... 2. doesn't matter much... best is to have like you do... so you know what games are what... 3. Not sure, i think it doesn't work with manually added ones, however... you most likely didn't place them in the correct path anyways...

That makes no sense, pF = Capacitor value... maybe he mentioned some components on your motherboard were broken? for instance, when you install a RGH chip to a slim you need a 220pF capacitor between CPU_RST and GND in order for it to work (for the original cpld and such)...
-
DMZ is more useful if you cannot connect to anyone, it's mostly for troubleshooting portforwarding issues... like i said tho, it's highly unlikely that it'll solve your problem
-
It could actually be a connection problem between your isp's, or your router... it's quite difficult to say
-
that is not likely the issue to begin with, it's more likely that one of you might not have the pingpatch active, it's very important...
-
dunno if it makes a difference, or if it really works all and all, but the method i used was remove the layout files and place the files from disc 2 over disc 1, replacing all files that are the same... there were 4 files beeing different (apart from the missing ones of course) those are: default.xex, uplay.xex (not sure about the exact name right now... but... these aren't that important, it's most likely just media id different in the xex's) and the 2 layout filesWhat i mean with not knowing if it works all and all is that i don't know if it works when it's about to switch discs... what i do know is that it'll atleast start the game and you can start playing it...
-
Depends alot on the settings or firmware of the router, some routers sucks, others don't... most issues are related to user errors with the settings but... it's always easier to use a router that is known to work to begin with, that way you'll know it's likely your own fault if it doesn't work...
-
You have already done the "dangerous part", when you followed the update guide before for the dashboard is when you did the stuff that can mess upp your console to the point where it doesn't start properly [if using the wrong settings or so]what may happen is that your F3 doesn't autolaunch anymore... if that happens just use a usb memory with a launch.ini pointing to a usb installation or so, then you can use this to fix the hdd installation personally i use XEXMenu from external usb memories for installing everything
-
if they don't find eachother and both run LiNK that's not the cause of the issue ;)Of course, for this to be valid they have to use different ports...
-
Any harddrive connected to the SATA port (HDD slot) will be 100% Xbox 360...
-
How does that help if the console can't find the damn harddrive? if it cannot find the harddrive, there is nothing to configure...
-
I suppose R-JTAG has "easier" points, however... it can be a bit of a hazzle to get working... if you do go that way, i recommend NOT using the JTAG QSB included, and instead go for the "old-school" method (diodes)
