The virtual device is XTAF aswell i think, but, it's still nothing more then a virtual device stored in data blobs in a hidden folder, it's not at all a partition

It's not a FATX partition, or even XTAF (as it is on Xbox 360) it's a virtual device stored in a hidden folder named "Xbox 360" You can use the USBMU for it, but not the external harddrive as-is, in the early days (pre 2.0.9199.0) we didn't even have USBMU, in those days it didn't work... it should however work from USBMU now a days...

To answer all your questions quickly and easily regarding this: Install the DLC disc from the disc itself (don't copy it to your harddrive with FSD) if it's this type of disc... otherwise, just put them like you mentioned: Game\Disc1 Content... Game\Disc2\Disc2 Content... There's actually 3 types of Multi Disk games tho... there's DLC Installers/Extra Data Installers [most GOTY and for instance GTA V and Forza 3/4] there's the usual one "Story continues on the next disc" [Most multidisc RPG games are like this] and the last type; Single/Multiplayer discs some of these might have a installation on the multiplayer disc required for the single player disc tho...

check settings of your imaging software it should be able to create multiple files of desired size in other words like a rar download which consists of multiple files of say 1gb or whatever,in your case around 3700gb per file minitool partition manager is free as in no money & not shareware if you want to create a primary ntfs partition

@ gonzo so info regarding dlc being played from external is incorrect at link below (op has posted multiple threads instead of 1 large one),or can dlc only be played from external hdd if it doesn't exceed a certain amount of gb there by making 360 think it was an mu,i was under impression an external hdd wasn't capable of using dlc & instead required internal or mu http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/4279-using-dvd-extract-for-multi-disc-games-quick-question-i-think/ @ op you need to link xbox to unity & possibly enable the auto retrieve thingy,,me i just hit scan manually since i don't have it set to auto, any covers missing i use web browser to install,i've only used push to xbox once & that was under the old site install missing covers manually by using web browser by logging into 360 using 360 ip address then type 360 address into web browser, should work if 360 is set up correctly

Just wanted to say I love your signature. And I stand corrected on my last post about title updates. They are enabled by default. I thought it was weird to see them installed but not enabled.... You were right, it was due to the freestyle plugin being reloaded. Because even after booting to fsd, and turning off my system, when I start it again and let it boot to aurora by default all installed title updates are enabled. That made my day a ton brighter.

youtube I can understand, but wouldn't it be simpler to just rig a dual booting console and use the free apps that come with a silver Xbox live membership using apps specifically designed to be used on a console? That being said, the last thing I ever want to do is surf the web on a console using a controller instead of a mouse and keyboard.

I would've opted for that too. There must be some software available to divide a hard drive into several partitions. Good luck.
