this week playing in public room was imposible... there are too many cheaters... and since there are less than 50 people playing from morning until later in the day its really hard to even find a decent host. and i am not the only one saying this. practically everyone i know is saying this. is there a chance that if more than 10 people or something like that report a cheter that he would get like 2 days ban. and after that if he cheats again he would get 7 days ban and after that he gets banned for ever? is this even possible? or can he just make another account? because there are some cheathers (alcatraz and others) that come everyday and just dont care. u can see on killcam how he is following u o killcam when u are behind the wall and they go 20:0 in search and destroy against great players. 2 days ago alcatraz got 3x warthog in snd .

yesterday while playing bo2 we saw someone cheating and someone said kick him and 10s later the room leader got kicked out of the room and the cheater got the leadership.... i cant wait for nova. because like u guys explained in nova when leader rejoins the room he gets the leadership back. another thing is i am just wondering why those who will use mods will be flagged in nova? i would like to use camo mod (the only mod i ever used because i need my pinky camo ). if they will be flagged they will just use the hacks that they use now and will stay under the radar. and i think people wont use camo trainer with aurora if they will be tagged as moders. so my question is if there is any way that using the camo trainer will not flag you as a modder?

than i would have to sell my xbox and buy a new one... and i would have to buy a used one and so i cant be sure how the previous owner took cre of it

so basically the only difference between link and nova will be that when u will search for a room it will load faster? so if i understan correctly how system link works: - lets say 17 people connect to a host (this goes through unity server) - than every press of the button i make is uploaded directly to the host (so unity server has nothing to do with it) - the host is downloading all the button presses from all 17 players and is uploading 18 (from 17 players + his own) - every console is computing the imput and showing the result MY QUESTIONS: - am i downloading 18 or 17? (probably 17 because it wouldent make much sense to upload and dl my own button pressess... or maybe it is 18 and it has to go this was otherwise there would be lag since u have 0 ping to yourself) - is my assumption even correct? - but when system link is overloaded we all are loosing connection and sometimes when 33 people connect to a room we get thrown out of the room which means that there is some interaction between the consoles and the unity server all the time??? when i refresh the rooms list the unity server is pinging all the players (so one part of the plugin is always listening if the server will ping it?). so when there are a lot of link players and lets say 50 people refesh the room than this means that the unity server pings my xbox 50x or does it ping lets say each seconds and than just displays the result to who ever refreshed at that moment? so the connection itself is handeled by the plugin on each xbox. will you guys rewrite the plugin? is it even possible? sorry if i am being annoying but i am really curious about this stuff and i am really wondering ho system link works and how nova will work

i guess u guys didnt understand what i meant. what is the default sort when i go on www.xboxunity.com? i think that 95% o people that go there want to check who is playing and in which room. so lets say that 100 people go to unity atleast 1x a day and they have to sort first (which is using the servers resources) and then they check who is playing. but if the default sort wuld be: static part: 10 games that link players play (this would be hand picked once because they dont change. cod games + few more) and after those 10 games the list would continoue as it is now if this would be done than those 100 or so players that apply sort few times a day would not sort anymore, since their game woud be at the top anyway and this was just an idea and it takes you only few second to sort anyway so just ignore me

i know this guy from LiNK. yes julian i also cant wait until nova comes out so i can kick you for 6h. he has a shitty connection but thats not stopping him from connecting to us over and over and over.... 2-3 people with similar connection as julian join and than the voice stops working and the game lags

i didnt know where to write this. why arent xbox unity games sorted like on this page where u have link real time top 5? people go to xbox unity to check who and in which room is playing black ops 2 (and maybe 4 other games) and u have to search for it every single time. it would be much more convenient if it would be sorted descending by the field active link players. just a suggestion

i dont want to be a retard but i just cant hold it in... how long until the nova is realeased. i know you wont give me a date but i am just wondering is it days away or weeks away or months away? than go under bandwidth limiter to set the priorityes

it works with no problem. our clan leader has 2 xboxes at home. do what swizzy said. and just a tip: u have to use bandwith control or qos or whatever u have and asign the consol that will host most of the time the highest priority and give the other xbox low priority this will help a lot, since the host needs to be waaaaay faster.

i have checked and only black ops 2 save file is missing. save files from all other games work as before. havent played the campaign so it doesnt matter. i just have to make my old classes and i am good to go

if even more people will come than a clan system is a must! but wont link be overloaded if even more people will come?

i hope there will be an nintendo 64 emulator for aurora. i really enjoy pokemon stadium 2, snowboard kids, mario party, super smash bros.... but sadly with the current emulator half of the games dont even boot on my corona motherboard

regarding bad attitude we have mute button which helps a lot, because those who seek attention hate it when all others mute him so next time they think 3x before they act this way. but a 5min ban is also more than welcome. thanks again for all the work!

i thought that link will die in max 1 year but i guess i was wrong (thank god) now all we need is a good port of black ops 3 for xbox 360

so how can i make that aurora would load its own plugin? and yes i am signed in to the same profile. and someone else also told me he also lost his save files. i mean they re probably not lost but in a different directory that aurora didnt check or something.

I LOVE U GUYS! If the leader comes back to his room and he would be able to regain leadership that would be amazing!!! and please use 6h ban. it would really help. just asking, but why would someone use 5min ban? we ban people only because of bad connection or cheating. we will not warn cheaters, we will kick them. and those with bad connection i feel sorry for them but they are dragging everyone down (we kick only those with 1 bar) and just a suggestion: it would be amazing if there would be a tab called clans on xboxunity.net where people would be able to make a clan and invite people so that everyone would be able to see what members each clan has. because now random people just use clan names, even tho they are not in a clan and there is no way to check if he is really in a clan. and maybe invite a clan to battle option or something ike that.

i installed aurora and everything works fine, but when i press home button (xbox button) i get options from freestyle... and my save files are gone. any solution?

first i would really like to thank you guys for working so hard. I LOVE LINK! i play Black ops 2 a lot and the things that are destroying the comunity in my oppinion are: - CHEATING: there are a lot of cheaters and some cheat so good that its really hard to say if they are cheating. the other thing is that because some people cheat, people started labeling good players as cheaters. - PEOPLE WITH BAD CONNECTION: there are A LOT of people with really bad connection or far away and they cause game and sound lag for all other players. we tryed block + kick feature but they still come back after 1h and than we have to kick again (THANKS a lot for making link load super fast, so it is easyer to kick). i also was searching for a kick mod because we have huge problems with cheaters and lagy people. i do agree that we could lock down the room, but we want to allow people to join and also if we had a pass some of the players would tell the pass to others for sure and its hard to change the pass and tell it to other 150-200 people that dont cheat and have atleast ok connection. We dont even bother to play in public rooms because u have 100% chance of having atleast 3 people in each game that have either bad connection or cheat, which makes the game unplayable. REQUESTS: - BLOCK: we always block people but they keep coming back which is anoying. we only block those with bad connection and cheaters (there are only max 300 players that play bo2 so we block only those who are really dragging us down) and we dont want them to come back. EVER! - HOST KICK OPTION: in private lobby only the leader can kick which is nonsense. for example we make a room and sometimes it happens that the leader gets disconnected from the room and we loose leadership. or the room stays on until next day and that person cant reclaim leadership of his own room. we could make another room but people join the room because they know who made it and if someone else makes the room people join really slow because they think we are in the room that we are always in. and a lot of times there is a good private room and we would like to join and host there, because there are already many people in there but ALWAYS there have to be atleast 5 people that lag or cheat and since we dont hve leadership we are forced to make our private room and than there are 2 rooms half filled insted of 1 full room. if the host could block and kick regardless if he is the room leader that would help a lot. -CHEATS: option to disable all cheats. i have read all the pages in this topic and i know that this is not possible. it really sucks when u try your best and in the end you are labeled as a cheater and sometimes even kicked for that. AGAIN I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR TRYING SO HARD. I HAVE MADE A LOT OF REALLY GREAT FRIENDS ON LINK AND WE TALK EVEN OUTSIDE LINK ALL THANKS TO YOU GUYS THAT MADE IT ALL POSSIBLE
