  1. and if you are on RGH, there is no risk.. no connectivity kit required.. as RGH wont flag you without dvd drive connected.. right/wrong?
  2. That I cannot say.. Maybe swizzy can answer.. Or someone more experienced in that.. Maybe your friend messed up something? Check the wiring?? Or build rgh image with new ldv and see if that works?Just googled, you need to update the ldv for it to boot rgh again, 7sins tut posted it
  3. load up xell.. then press "get cpukey/cfldv from network" and your 16747 dump will work just fine.. as that already has the KV needed.. also your dump info is in Jrunner.. in "FUSE.txt" i'm going to sleep so if you can't figure this out from the info i have given, wait til someone else responds ALSO, since you've only updated stock once since you've pulled that image.. it will only be +1.. if your nand says LDV = 8, it'll be 9 for stock
  4. use swizzy's gui.. it is pretty self explanatory, but load nand with CPUkey then go to tools-> check image version, and change the LDV, save, create "stock" image
  5. as gavin stated.. been tried.. but doesn't work.. bootanim's work.. but no video in dash will afaik..
  6. i sent you a PM.. skype me.. and it will be on the lower right hand side..
  7. you can pull the KV and stuff from demon side, and build a "Stock" nand via jrunner or xebuild and still play online.. i believe.. all you have to do is +1 the LDV if thats how many updates have been received.. it goes up every update.. (not every update that has passed, but how many times it has been updated on XB, such as 13xxx to 17150 will up the LDV +1, not all the updates in between) and you should be able to use the demon still.. as the LDV doesn't matter for RGH i believe also..
  8. start from scratch would be the best way.. as i stated earlier.. but since it works without the TU.. on RGH, enable the freestyle plugin, press guide, and see what media ID pops up.. since it's the TU causing problems.. you have to have a different media ID that what it is expecting..
  9. i just got home from my class.. before i went to class.. we was talking about how you could tell if there was missing files.. ripping your OWN copy will ensure everything get's copied..
  10. not entirely.. as you want to play with the modded TU.. i went WAY off topic.. and stated how to rip games.. lol sorry.. no problem.. don't try to rip the games.. first, can you play it normally without the TU on RGH right?79e465c5 is the Media ID(disc 2) of the game i have.. TU is for 0C48794E disc 1.. ripping your OWN copy ensures everything get's copied correctly/not missing anything.. if you play it from Disc on non RGH side, everything should work right on RGH side, unless you are swapping shit left and right, which is why i stated delete the game on RGH Hdd, and use 1 complete set that works.. not from this copy here, that copy there.. your problem seems to stem from your error of mixing the games (if they are in-fact different versions)
  11. http://www.ixtreme.net/open-forum/36547-can-i-rip-xgd3-games-lite-drive.html or google how to rip XB games.. you flash the DVD drive with 0800 FW.. and connect to PC with sata.. then use XBC to rip the game to iso.. and i was wrong about PC drives being able to read reg games.. i tested that, and was wrong.. but it will read already backedup games.. if you have a PHAT console.. this should be easy as hell to accomplish
  12. was in class.. sorry.. you can use your liteon/benq drive from the XB connected to PC to rip it with the 0800 v3 firmware.. you dont need anything special to flash the drive(if you have a Sata capapble PC), as RGH gives you the DVD key.. once you are done ripping, just flash back to original firmware and whatnot.. there are plenty of guides around if you google it..
  13. Yes it does.. At least the copy I have does.. I'll post it after class in a few hrs.. It just doesn't pull the ap data I believe.. I could be wrong tho.. Just give me a few hrs to go to class
  14. i dunno your setup.. honestly.. or why YOU can't get it to work, when others have..
  15. then you shouldn't have a problem copying it.. you could always use xboxbackupcreator to make an iso copy, the iso2god it.. or just install the "install disc", then run from disc..
  16. if you have the legit copy, nothing will be missing ;-)
  17. yes you can copy the disc in Aurora, just pop it in, and go to file manager, and copy it that way.. the DVD drive will show up in file manager once you have something in the disc drive..
  18. true.. not saying that they cant either.. back on topic of what you asked about the flag: the ORIGINAL ways of doing it was using XB to power the drive, until CK's were release because the XB flagged itself for ban without the DVD drive connected.. to combat people flashing their drives. and RGH doesn't care if the drive is connected or not.
  19. im not saying your ignorant or anything, just showed the products released WAY before what you have ;-) and there is even a molex connector in your pix..
  20. you can't spoof the dvd drive without the AP checks.. which is why people said you couldnt.. the xdg3 update, you'll be spoofing a BenQ with Lite-on, which is allowed.. because BOTH drives have AP enabled.. but either way is up to you m8.. i got class in 12 hrs, and need some rest..
  21. look at this pic.. sata is not the power connector.. the bunch of wires is the power[too lazy to google the connectiong type xD](hence the molex adapter):
  22. spoofing drives was out LONG before RGH ever came out.. so it should work without it man.. like i said, as long as you have AP enabled drive.. which is everything after hitachi 79+ EDIT: from another forum:(too bad TX is offline, as they had this EXACT info also) All consoles have been updated with AP 2.5 capability. However, whether the AP 2.5 checks are active or not depends on the original drive that came with the console. Within the KV (Key Vault) of the Nand there is a setting called the OSIG. The OSIG is the original drive type that came with the console. This can't be changed anymore (even with the CPU key.) Here's a screenshot of the OSIG and the different drive types. AP 2.5 capable drives are Hitachi 78/79, BenQ 6243/6493, and LiteOn 7485/8385/9345. (Some Hitachi 78/79 consoles have been found not performing AP25 checks but it's foolish not to treat them all as performing them.) If the OSIG is Hitachi 59 or lower, or Samsung 25 or 28, then your console turns off the AP 2.5 challenges. Any drive can be used as a replacement for a console with a non-AP 2.5 capable OSIG type as long as you only inject the DVD key into the replacement drive's firmware and don't spoof the drive type. If the OSIG is Hitachi 78 or 79, any BenQ, or any LiteOn, then AP 2.5 challenges will be active REGARDLESS of what drive your console has. If you put a non-AP 2.5 drive in a console with an AP 2.5 capable OSIG, the console will make the challenge and get no response as the drive simply cannot give one. No response or an improper response both result in an AP 2.5 challenge failure. Playing AP 2.5 games offline or on a banned console won't make a difference as the AP 2.5 challenges will still prevent backups discs that fail from playing on an updated dash. The only situation where this doesn't apply is with a Jtag/RGH console where AP 2.5 has been patched out of the hacked dash firmware. 8/6/2012 EDIT: I've been running my main online console with a LiteOn (as a replacement for a BenQ) for over 6 months. The LiteOn has remained in it during updates as well and I had no update problems. A few weeks ago I dumped the Nand and found no new flags. As far as I'm concerned, running a different replacement drive following the guidelines above for AP25 capable drives and not spoofing the drive type, is just as Xbox Live safe as playing backups on Live.
  23. Correct.. But does your enclosure have the cord connections?? As it doesn't use sata to power.. Only sata to read..And rgh doesn't flag the stock nand as it is completely diff nand altogether.. And the DVD drive doesn't flag.. The console flags itself if no drive is connected..
  24. Stock nand will flag the console for ban if it boots without DVD drive.. Hence the cki and stuff produced by tx ;-) to not use the console to power to flash the drives.. It used molex connectors in PCs til they made an adapter that came from the wall to molex, to be for use on laptops and such..
  25. and he said he don't have the cash.. and XB works just fine.. as it won't get flagged with RGH boots.. ;-)
