  1. Are you using the very latest Freestyle Dashboard System Update / Kernal Dashlaunch
  2. Install dashlaunch and set the default bootpath to boot fsd for you. that will fix your issue (well should)
  3. don't "bump", its unnecessary. Make sure you have FSD booted as a default under your launch.ini example "default = hdd1:/freestyle/default.xex"
  4. Well consider it a glitch that'll never be fixed - deal with it
  5. It shouldn't be doing that unless your selecting multiplayer in the main menu.
  6. You'll need to look up the manual for that or google it, google your routers model number + set permanent ip nothing much I or other members can do you for on that one.
  7. Isn't AC4 2 disc (1 for single player 1 for multiplayer), it'll be easier for you to just delete the multiplayer disc. As for the batman disc, correct me if im wrong but isn't the other disc a "content install", similar to GTA5, just install the content and delete the disc.
  8. Router settings is your hardware, usually provided to you by your broadband provider.
  9. you mean "duplicate lan ip" that means the ip address your xbox is trying to use is assigned to something else. Goto your router settings and assign your xbox a permanent ip via the router instead of network settings.
  10. I Would assume your HDD is connected when powering on xbox? I save my launch.ini in hdd and flash, so if hdd isn't found, flash is booted.
  11. Your asking the wrong person on that one
  12. If others cant connect to your router due to distance or too many interferances (walls, etc..) then go into your superhub and enable DMZ for the IP address that is your other router. Then on that router enable DMZ for your Xbox's ip. Your finding rooms and able to join lobbies to be honest there isn't really much you can do from there. My ports too also fail but I can still find games. Vm300 was the first Docsys 3.0 modem they brought out (May 2009 I think is when it came when all the cloned modems started to die out), it didn't have a long service with VM due to the superhub coming out a few months later. The white one you talk about I think was the Motorola Modem (SB3100 and SB4100), the 2 modems that was jtaggable or better yet, you paid for the cheapest/basic broadband package and changed your own speeds (those were the days)
  13. The hub is a worthless piece of crap. The VM300 was the best modem they ever used. Supported 360mbs and they ditched it because it didn't have built in wireless. Just disable the wireless side of the "Superhub" and use it for modem mode only, if someone in your household is using its wireless, tell them to use the other router, Its not rocket science to change
  14. I have virgin too, and i'm using my own wireless router. Configure your virgin media modem to be "Modem Mode" only, and let your other wireless router do its thing. Virgin "Super Hubs" as they call them are nothing more than £5 worth of hardware. They are often nothing but problems. This should resolve your issues
  15. People can join rooms and not play on link. If you can join lobbies and join some games (or see some) then there is not much you can do from there. All is working fine. It can fall down to your ISP blocking some traffic or even other players ISP'sAnother thing you can try is to just setup a DMZ to your Xbox's IP address. That way it'll have no router firewall issues
  16. One other thing, when you copied the game to the hard drive, was it a USB drive? if so, make sure you have "hddalive = true" in dashlaunch, even when your gaming from it, the usb drive can still goto sleep after 5 mins. Once CoD loads its map, how long does an average game last, 15mins? Then you go back to the menu as for you, if your drive is sleeping, fatal crash
  17. You install game to hard drive via official dashboard, then nxe2god will look for installed games and ask you to confirm to convert them from "Installed" to "Games on Demand" Good Luck
  18. Your setup is fine and you've done nothing wrong (from what I can see) Your BO2 disc could have a light scratch and when you copy it to the hard drive its reading past the unreadable sector(s), and its those sectors that's needed to prevent the game crash (long shot, unlikely but possible), Try borrowing your friends disc and rip that to your xbox (you have the original copy anyway so there is no piracy with it) Its just a fought. Could work, could not. But worth a try Install the game to the hard drive then use nxe2god to unlock it as a game on demand. See how that goes
  19. it means dashlaunch has loaded. You need to open dashlaunch and fix your paths you may have powered on your xbox when your usb/hard drive device was disconnectd. Therefore dashlaunch may have changed it from hdd/usb: to (none) Just fix that and you should be ok, if it still doesn't work, make sure your using the default skin, if it still doesn't work after that, just do a fresh install of FSD.
  20. sounds like you've converted them to GoD and you didn't run x360gamehack to remove the AP Project (Anti-Piracy). Try the games without the game on demand format and see how that goes. If it still fails, post a copy of your launch.ini file.
  21. mines fails and link still works if your still having trouble, just opent he ports on your router, once you've changed them to 1000 and 1001 then setup a DMZ on your router to your xbox ip if your going to ask how to do this, don't, we don't do technical support for routers.
  22. if you have 2 hard drives 1 internal 1 usb, you just setup different scan paths and fsd will do the rest
  23. make sure you have the latest title update if you have a different version from others, you'll only find games that are on the same TU as you
  24. If your console doesn't boot after 30 seconds several times, its possible a wire came loose for your rgh, you need to be careful when handling your console for those tiny wires can pop loose. Try again and let us know
