2 Things you might want to disable just to check if it changes anything; Disable the plugin from beeing loaded (might interfere with the F3 plugin) Disable Fakelive (probably doesn't matter in this case, but... it can cause problems with most games)

Skype uses a different type of communication protocol, it's down to how it communicates which makes or breaks this whole thing... It's like with FTP there's 2 modes, Active and Passive... Active pretty much always works, but Passive might not work if you are behind a router... i cannot explain why... nor do i know how exactly the LiNK communication protocol is designed... but, yes... i do know that it don't work by experience, not personal experience but... i was in the original LiNK testing, during which time we tested this and all kinds of other stuff...

depends on your dashlaunch settings, for a quick fix, make a folder called $ystemupdate and also a folder called $$ystemupdate. copy the files into them and then try to launch a game etc. or try plugging the USB key into the machine when your on the "stock" metro dashboard. reading through your post you have $$ystemUpdate and $Systemupdate, you need to remove the "S" from the folder name. have a check of your dashlaunch settings.

With the subtitles feature you can see that information...
