SweetInsanity 0 Posted June 30, 2014 Hi I have a JTAG XBOX 360 with the Freestyle 3 Dash. I installed Need For Speed Underground 2 for the XBOX Classic on it and it shows up under XBOX classic games, but the videos lag and every now and then the game lags as well. Is there a proper homebrew emulator I can use on my JTAG 360 to play XBOX Classic games properly? Thanks
Swizzy 2084 Posted June 30, 2014 if it doesn't run with the latest version of the xbox classic emulator, it won't run at all... there is nothing other then the microsoft one (and one patched to work with more games and ignore signatures)
SweetInsanity 0 Posted June 30, 2014 and one patched to work with more games and ignore signatures Which one is that? I downloaded quite a few XBOX Classic games. Will test them all out and see what works and what does not
scorpNZ 207 Posted June 30, 2014 Why not just get an original xbox or two & chip them you could also softmod it tho from what i've seen over the years a modchip would be more realiable & less chance of stuffing the mod up.Apart from running all the classics, you'll then also be able to run CoinOps 5 which houses 3000 + games. The xbox will run all movie formats i.e avi, mkv, mov etc, plays music formats & can run windows ce (a hacked version of win 2000) or linux. scorpNZ 207 Posted July 1, 2014 There is a compatibilty games list that ms put out on the web of what games do & don't there might be a wiki as well, keep in mind if you don't have an original xbox to test them on you won't know if the odd one or 2 aren't either corrupted or poorly ripped
Swizzy 2084 Posted July 1, 2014 http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-on-other-devices/original-console/play-original-games <--- this is microsofts list (with all the officially supported games) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_games_compatible_with_Xbox_360 <--- this is the Wiki page on it, where you'll find some more information about supported games (probably with the hacked version of the compatibility files) The glitches/notes about NFS Underground 2 is as follows: During 2 player races, the bottom screen stares at the ground. Cutscenes are skippy and the sound is occasionally slightly crackly. Occasional frame rate drops and soundtrack stuttering or freezing. Occasionally, black squares pop up randomly on the screen. The demo for Burnout 3: Takedown in the options menu is not functional. Game mechanics work fine.

Swizzy 2084 Posted July 4, 2014 buy 360 and use the emulator He already have one of those, and... the Xbox 360 emulator don't work 100% with ALL games, most work, some with various issues, some perfectly... To get the ultimate experience (no issues with the games, and 100% compatibility) you'd need a Xbox (classic, the old ones... and most likely it'd be better of beeing hacked then using a original one as some games might be very difficult to find as original games for the correct region of the console and such...)
