Hi. I have an XBOX 360 JTAG console that can also play copied disc games. I have never updated my console's kernel before. My kernel version is 2.0.16537.0 Will this tutorial be the right one for me to successfully update my console's kernel and the avatars? Will there be any additional steps for me to follow? Help will be greatly appreciated. I am rather scared updating the kernel for the first time

Hi I have a JTAG XBOX 360 with the Freestyle 3 Dash. I installed Need For Speed Underground 2 for the XBOX Classic on it and it shows up under XBOX classic games, but the videos lag and every now and then the game lags as well. Is there a proper homebrew emulator I can use on my JTAG 360 to play XBOX Classic games properly? Thanks

I have downloaded a few title updates so far and they are working and the latest game I installed from a disc is Watch Dogs which had no problem. I have an XBOX 360S console. Unsure of it's original size as the seller did not tell me or give me packaging. When he bought it, a 320GB HDD was installed. Is updating the kernel simple? Will I be able to fix it myself should I mess it up?

Hi Thank you I am stupid with this stuff, but is there any benefit or need to update to a newer kernel? Reason why I ask is I have no idea which mods exactly were done to this console and neither does the guy who sold it to me. I know a JTAG was done, but unsure which mod was done to allow it to play copied discs. I managed to update the dashboard though by using the F3 installer ISO image from here: http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/2090-f3-rev-775/page-12 Also, I see the console can't use it's wireless to connect to the internet, or I am just too dumb to find it My router is isolated downstairs with no cables running upstairs. I tried sharing my PC's internet with it by connecting my PC via wireless and the console to the PC via cable and it gave an IP on the console but would not download any covers or pick up title updates for games I know for a fact does have updates. I restarted the console, but got the same result

Hello everyone I am new here with a few questions to ask I purchased an XBOX 360 with the Freestyle 3 dashboard today and I am a total noob with this stuff. From what the seller told me, all I know is it can play copied discs, games from USB drives and games from the internal drive. Further I have no clue what is going on here Firstly, how do I update the dashboard when there is updates and where do I find these? Is there a specific way for each console? Secondly, can this console connect to the internet with the Freestyle 3 dashboard without anything messing up? I read that connecting to the internet can mess up the JTAG on some consoles. I don't know if this information is relevant to any of my questions, but the dash version is 3.0 Rev58, the kernel version is 2.0.16537.0 and the skin version is 3.0 Rev63 Thank you!!!!
