irishdave 236 Posted January 9, 2013 LMFAO To join a game, your connection needs to be at LEAST 2048kbps (2mbit) downstream, upstream should be at LEAST 256kbs (0.25mb), to host a game of about 8 players, you'd need at least 10,240kbps downsteam (10mbit) and a good 1024kbps upsteam (1mb). Now, if you're in the UK or Ireland, you should know that the telephone regulators have capped dial up speeds from 56kbps to 26kbps (26kbps up and 26kbps down) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

DracoAzule 0 Posted January 9, 2013 I just came off dialup maybe about a year and a half ago. Dude, you just don't know. Trust me. Even if you get it to work somehow, it's not gonna be worth it. Just trust me when I say this. Because I was in your same situation. It's just not worth it. If you can't get cable in your area, your best bet would be to see if you can get mobile broadband.
