jkiper 0 Posted January 7, 2013 Hi, is there a way to change where FSD saves and download the covers, screenshots, TU's ? for example in the external usb drive where I do have all the games... Because I 've more than 300 games, and all the covers and other screenshots are getting most of the 4GB internal memory... Thanks!!!
irishdave 236 Posted January 7, 2013 I think you'll need to move the whole FSD folder to where you want all that stored. TU's are pretty standard, HDD1/Cache
jkiper 0 Posted January 7, 2013 Thanks... but is it just one folder? Of course, I need to change the .ini file right?
jkiper 0 Posted January 7, 2013 I'm a little worried about changing to the usb drive and then brake FSD...
irishdave 236 Posted January 7, 2013 Should be ok, yeah you need to change the ini file, so it knows where to find FSD. You can just copy it over and leave the backup on the HDD/Intmu incase it doesn't work out.
jkiper 0 Posted January 7, 2013 What utility do you recommend for doing this? Or just by ftp or the xbox original dash?
JPizzle 0 Posted January 7, 2013 use XeXmenu, you can not do it while in F3.
jkiper 0 Posted January 7, 2013 XexMenu is another app that I can lunch from F3? Or I've to boot the console from the dvd device?
JPizzle 0 Posted January 7, 2013 XeXmenu is another alternative dashboard with very basic features, if you have your F3 Installer disc you can use that as it has a built in FTP server.
jkiper 0 Posted January 7, 2013 Yes, that's what I meant...I can access via FTP server to the console and drives...
jkiper 0 Posted January 8, 2013 I tried to download the freestyle folder from the internal OnboardMU to then, copying it to the Usb0 folder (the usb drive) but I can't because there are lots of files that are giving me transfer errors... Any idea how to copy or move the freestyle from the OnboardMU to the Usb0 external drive? This will prevent freestyle from downloading covers, icons, banners, screenshots, etc to the internal OnboardMU ? 'Cause I've more than 500 games... and the freestyle folder in the OnboardMu (4GB) is taking a LOT of space... Thanks again!!!
JPizzle 0 Posted January 8, 2013 as long as you boot the console and do not go into FSD at all you should be able to move the files just fine.
jkiper 0 Posted January 8, 2013 Ap... that's the part that I was missing ... :-P ... I would try to copy the folder using the original xbox dash then... Thanks!
