Problems using LINK on 3rd rgh console

Recommended Posts

Hi there, I'm not new to the scene and having been using link for years. I currently have 3 rgh 2 consoles and one of which won't connect to link no matter what I do. I have 2 jaspers which both work fine, different ports forwarded for each IP. I have reserved seperate ip addresses for each console.

I have just bought a trinity slim and rghd it. It connected to xbox live before hand so no issues with wireless board. It connects to unity for title updates and covers but I cannot get the ports to verify.

I have even tried putting the IP in the dmz but still no dice.

Here are some pics of my settings, any help would be appreciated.

If I have forgotten to mention anything please say, I have tried various port combinations from 1000/1001 up to current ports of 3073/3074

I have xhttp enabled in dashlaunch and liveblock but not livestrong. Not sure if I am missing something.

It all seems fine and the only suggestion I'd make although maybe of no relevant use would be 192.168.0.8 - 192.168.0.10 - 192.168.0.12 as opposed to he last one being .14 also try resetting the network settings in the stubborn one's NXE settings and see if that may help

It's the 0.8 one that is giving me the issues. And yep I have tried that already. Completely reset network. I have set the IP to automatic and put in gateway and bits manually. I have even tried manually reserving a different ip address for my xbox mac but no dice. I am stumped.

Strange, my entire house is network hard wire and wireless from one router with 3x 360's and a ps3 and all work DHCP and automatic assignment same ISP as you. Have you tried with two digits at the end i.e 08 as opposed to just 8?

It is a strange one. Only thing left is whether it could be using IPv6 when it needs IPv4 which I'll need to ring isp for I think.

That's not it, the 360 don't support IPv6 at all

only idea left would be to clear all router settings and all 3 360 settings and start from scratch one at a time if your reserving IP or try letting DHCP assign all three from scratch, other than that I'd contact ISP and see if they can assist

Ok so just to add resolution to this topic, I factory reset my router and re added each console. I have had one set of failed ports but as of now I have all 3 consoles working on link. Ports 3069/3070 3071/3072 and 3080/3081. 3073 kept failing and 3074 would pass so jumped higher a few ports and worked right away.
