Al1ens 60 Posted December 27, 2014 A way to access a walkthrough/faq game guide in standard .txt format from the game details page, or better still, from the guide button when a game is paused whilst running.
Swizzy 2084 Posted December 27, 2014 Not likely to come to be honest, where do these come from anyways? how would they be read? You're better off using a laptop next to you while playing, that way you can read while playing without having to switch windows or whatever...
Al1ens 60 Posted December 27, 2014 Usually they are just .txt files and I get mine from gamefaq's site. When I do need a walkthrough for help, I usually just access them on my phone, but as part of a wish list, being able to pause a game and check on screen before restarting would be pretty cool. If it probably won't happen, no worries, but then if you don't ask you'll never get, right?
saywaking 289 Posted December 27, 2014 I liked the idea. I recently searched for a walkthrough for someone because he would not come further and dont know how to find solutions. Unity as ome source would be my suggestion.

Unity as ome source would be my suggestion. It'd still have to be user submitted stuff, and we as admins/moderators would have to read through each one to verify they're legit and not spam shit and what not... we've got families, work and whatnot... and, this isn't going to be such a easy thing to do... you'd have to have it part of the Plugin, and as you already know saywaking, there's not enough memory to add alot of stuff there...
saywaking 289 Posted December 27, 2014 Yes, it's some work. That's why i would search a legit Walkthrough site or download a provided package of games, which is there somewhere. I wouldn't implement it into the plugin either. But it could be helpful next to the synopsis. But then i could guess it's not worth it. At least, not now! Anyway, this idea is something refreshing. A Walkthrough is literally only useful if you can read it while playing...
