player_258 0 Posted October 26, 2014 Hi, yesterday i downloaded Skullgirls, the Compatibility Update 2 ("DataForTitleUpdate2"), Squigly and Big Band DLC from Bilkoff google spreadsheet. installed the compatibility update and both dlcs with horizon on my external hdd. first i tried with aurora, the game shows up like any other xbla title, hit Y and go to DLC tab, i see the compatibility update and the 2 chars, awesome. now i go to the title updates tab and install latest (6), activate it and all, but it just doesnt seem to work, the game stays the same and the dlc chars wont appear in the character selection. i readed somewhere that the game needs to be in the Content folder for the titleupdates to work, so like the dlcs i installed the main game with horizon too, and ran in from the original dashboard recent tab, but it wont work either. other games like borderlands the pre sequel, forza horizon and halo reach work fine with the aurora titleupdate system, i can even play with link. Anyone got an idea why skullgirls title updates wont work?

Anyone got an idea why skullgirls title updates wont work? Maybe the filenames are broken? try running XM360 and let it "fix" filenames?

player_258 0 Posted October 26, 2014 the game, title update and dlcs show up fine in the retail dashboard. in xm360 the fix filenames option did nothing :c, and the dlcs had blue text that said "no matching file in the database"

player_258 0 Posted October 26, 2014 i dont think the dlcs filenames are wrong, the issue is from the titleupdates not loading if the latest update worked, the game would look for the "Data for Title Update 2" and the intro should say Skullgirls encore, it does neither. really weird actually, maybe its the game with the issue and not aurora or horizon thanks for the help but for the moment i will stay with the pc version
