Hmmm, I don't know. I have it in my HDD for ages. I believe I inserted the disc to my drive and ripped it from there. If not, I'll see if I can use iso2god.

Hello datastream, Downloaded latest COD: Black Ops 2 TU#15, I then selected it and set it Active. Started the game, yet, it blacked out once again. I didn't download all the other previous TUs. Is this correct? Can you shed some light regarding this game?

you mean if I don't allow ports mentioned, the xbox is not connected to the net? Can you explain "link"? Are there instances where automatically downloaded TUs are not compatible with the kernel on my console? Then what happens? Is there a way to initiate download of all TUs on the xbox in one go?

Hello Datastream, Thank you for taking the time to explain. I don't mind having the console connected directly yo net and update the TU itself. Does it mean this is the less user intervention option? If I do that, I can skip steps 1 to 3?

Sorry, too much for me :-) Who's Dave? What's 360 content manager? I assume regarding "don't allow connection to live" and "don't allow creation of live account" is in dashlaunch? Where do you open "link"? A quick google on "360 content manager" shows that it will help manage 360 games. Do you point this to your xbox ip? Will it automatically download appropriate TUs for your xbox games? Will it consider the kernel you're on? Thanks

Hello All, I recently updated to Dashlaunch 3.1, and using Kernel 16537. All of a sudden, my Call of Duty isn't working anymore. I new to mod scene, and am not familiar about TUs. I don't use Live. Before 16537, Black Ops was running fine without any TU. Can anyone share their experiences? And how to fix? Thanks

Hello datastream, finally got time to do this. I followed your instructions and plug both usb HDDs to the PC, both formatted with fat32. Copied all the files without any problem. Somehow, when I connect the new usb drive to xbox, the games don't show up. I've tried changing USB path in Setup/ Settings, and also did manual scanning. No games are found. I made sure it is less than 2 levels deep in the folders. Though going into file manager and starting the game by selecting default.xex starts the game without problem. I can see that the only thing inside the usb drive is the $RECYBLE.BIN (I assume this is from my other deleted files- not important), games folder, where inside there are the games such as Diablo III, gears of war, and inside them are the files such as default.xex. I set Game path depth to 2, it doesn't scan, 3, and finally 5, and did a manual scan, it doesn't see them either. Upon trying and trying, it finally found just 1 game, Diablo, and nothing else. I wonder why is this. Update: I tried to select the Game: under Drive List on purpose, and selected save. It still shows usb0 as the game path.

I have the same problem. May I ask what kernel you're using right now? I recently upgraded to 16203. I thought that was the latest supported by xebuild gui. It's the latest that's available on the dropdown menu.

I see. I also suspect that being the case. But I didn't have enough knowledge before to install FS3 onto the HDD. I assume now that I'll be redoing it, I should start with FS3 installer, and have it install dashlaunch as well? Thanks

Hello, I'd like to replace my usb drive with a spare unit I'm not using. Is it just a matter of copy and paste? Or do I execute the Freestyle dash installer once again? Are there other things that need to be done? Xebuild, etc...? Thanks

Hello all, not sure why when I initially turn on my xbox, it goes to the Microsoft X animation logo, but do not proceed to FS3. When I turn it off, then on again, that's the time it will go to FS3. I have FS3 installed on USB HDD, connected at the back, above the lan port. Are others experiencing this? I'm currently using FS3, Latest dashlaunch.

I've got everything up and running already. 1 problem though, When I go to games, It doesn't see the games. I have to go to file explorer, click on the individual xex file before it would run. What steps do I need to take to have cover art, and for it to recognize the games? Do I configure in dashlaunch? or freestyle dash?

This is what I know when I asked the person I bought my xbox from Facts: 1. They called it Jtag 2. I have the white Xbox, I believe during those times, I hear Jasper, with internal HDD 3. I have only Freestyle Dash 1.20 4. I have games on my external USB HDD 5. 50% of the time when I start Xbox, it goes to Freestyle Dash, the other half, it goes to default xbox homescreen, and I have to restart my xbox all over again What I'd like to know: 1. Does it mean since my device is Jtagged (that's what the person who modded it called it), I automatically have dashlaunch? I don't see it, nor do I know where to find it. 2. Do all I need to do to be able to play the latest and greatest games is to update my dashlaunch and freestyle dash? 3. What is the easiest procedure to do them?
