I got a 2nd 360 RGH'd (both are Jaspers) and I moved the hard drive over from the 1st one, but when I do that I have problems with loading Aurora when I first load it, it shows covers for things like xefu that I've hidden and duplicate covers of games that I might have moved say from usb0 to usb1 it shows both. Usually after a few minutes it will correct itself and show the right covers. This doesn't happen every single time I boot maybe 50% of the time. Same hard drive does not have this problem on the other RGH'd 360.

I thought with cooler temps it wasn't going to freeze/turn off anymore, but just now i was transferring some files through FSD and it just shut off. No RROD ever, just turns right backa on but still concerning. It's a Jasper so I don't think it RROD, so why it is messing up?

This is a Jasper that i just had RGH'd. I have another Jasper that never gives me any problems the problem with it is no HDMI (it HAD HDMI but it was knocked out by lightning) and whoever RGH'd it made it 2 minute loading. So I had this other Jasper sitting in my closet for years that I had bought at a pawn shop and decided to get it RGH'd, but I've had nothing but problems with it. It was freezing like crazy I think I can attritube that to the heat I sat a box fan behind my stand and TV and seems to not freeze. However it seems to have loading issues. Like when I load Aurora, I have 375 games. But it loads 417 it loads games that I've deleted and covers that I've deleted and shows some duplicates of games already listed. Then like after several minutes later it updates to the correct games like it just took it a really long time to load it correctly. Since I have all my games setup like I want on the other one I just plugged in the hard drive from it so it has my user and all my covers and saves etc... but it causes these issues. I haven't noticed these issues with the hard drive that was already attached to it, and what's even more weird is like I mentioned before the hard drive I'm trying to attach to it works perfect in the other one that has no HDMI/long loading times. So I'm just kind of stumped and seeing if I could get any advice.

Looking to play via LINK. I mostly want to play Capture the flag but will play whatever. To me nothing beats Unreal but nobody wants to play it anymore they just play Halo and COD. Nothing wrong with those games, but to me Unreal is the best multiplayer game ever.

Got 2 discs installed disc 1 content folder to here HDD:\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000000 HDD:\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000001 HDD:\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000002 HDD:\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000003 Installed latest update, still get black screen. Disc 2 is on my external so they're not on the same source.

Would anyone be interested in starting to play Unreal Tournament 3? I love Unreal, and it's impossible to play it on any console now I think other than possibly legit XBL. I'm not really a PC gamer I don't like using a mouse and keyboard to play. On XboxUnity.net I always see people on Halo Reach and a few others but never anybody on UT3.

Made my own custom cover because I wasn't satisfied with the ones on xboxunity.net. I use the spine cover flow so I like the spines to look nice (probably too picky but w/e) The problem is pretty obvious I just want to fill in the color black around the words "Virtua Fighter" but don't know how lol. Programs like paint.net the only options I can find they want to choose like a square or circle area to color in, but that won't work with this.

I have to basic options Xbox 360, Xbox and Xbox Live Arcade and all of the game work apporpriately for those the correct games are all there, but I guess I just can't add any genres?

That's weird, when I click on a game and go to the top there's an option for genres it says "not available" I looked at a several and same thing.

Yeah my externals are all full already that's the problem. I'm going to have to start investing in externals that are used just for storing backups of stuff. I ended up just copying everything to my computer for now.

I figured out how to add the genre that I created to the list when I hit LB or RB, but still don't know how to add games to it.

I guess I am not getting it how do I add the games that I choose to the genre that I choose? Is there some option by clicking on the game or is it elsewhere? If I go to Filters & Sort and click on "Racing & Flying" there's no games there, and I don't know how to add any. And yes I did read the sticky on filters, but it didn't totally help. Also how do I make my own genres? It is confusing to me because when I go to Quick View there is "Filter Add" but when I click on that there are all these Operators "And, Or, Not" etc... and I click on Filters but I don't see anywhere that I can just add the name of a genre and then just click on a game and say "add it to this genre" why can't it be more simple for dumb people like me lol. Like on Launchbox for PC you can just right click a game and add it to a Playlist that you name or create a new one. That's simple, why does this require a PHD?

Does Aurora have the option to connect to your computer through ethernet to view your files on the computer? I watched a tutorail but I thnk it's kinda old and it said only FSD can do that. If not I'll have to keep FSD for that feature.

But why does Aurora or FSD store title updates? I don't quite get that. Shouldn't they just be stored by the Xbox 360. Now I'm wondering maybe I installed some title updates when I used FSD and if I delete those I lose the title updates, but I don't know which games are which. If I don't lose the title updates, then why are they taking up space on my hard drive? Like I said it adds up to 5 gb.

The reason I ask is I've used Aurora now for 3-4 years but Im digging through my hard drive and my Freestyle Dash folder which I haven't used FSD since like 2016 has like 5 gb of gamedata and title updates. I just want to check if it is safe to delete those or does like Aurora store their title updates in FSD or anything like that? Hope that makes sense.

Ok but I would like to backup my files anyway that are on my hard drive to my computer. Can this be done from ethernet and how? I tried transferring to an external hard drive but it always stays at 0%. The only thing I saw like this on google was FatXplorer but it costs $25 is that the only way? NM, watched a Youtube tutorial on how to do it through FSD, pretty simple.

I have an RGH Fat Jasper but the boot times are slow (2 minutes) and lightning hit it and knocked out the HDMI port. I am getting another Jasper RGH'd my question is when I attach the hard drive from the old one to the new one will it have my files or since it's a different console will it require a format? thanks

Dude thank you, portforwarding.com helped me figure out what was wrong. I was changing the IP, subnet mask etc but leaving DNS automatic. For some reason my laptop didn't like that. So I did ipconig /all and got my DNS servers and entered them on my network bridge. Then I went to network on the 360 and I was putting the same IP as my laptop but it wouldn't accept it but I put a different one and it works. I'm able to leave DNS servers alone on my 360 but not laptop. It seems to be working 100% now I've done multiple reboots on both the laptop and 360 and it's continuing to work, and I don't have to change the IP on my router constantly. So as long as this keeps up I have no need to buy a 360 network adapter. If anyone else has this issue this will probably solve it.

I appreciate that but now I have another problem I was playing Halo Reach last night fine, but now when I check Nova I get Unity authentication failed and everything below it fails too,. I tried logging into xboxunity.net and had no problem so I don't know why. I figured out it's the static ip not working of course, I never can get them to work. When I assign one on my computer I get no network connection, and it's the same for the Xbox 360. I guess I'll just buy a network adapter when I get the money.

I tried setting a static IP network bridge on the laptop and that doesn't work either (btw I don't have wifi on my 360 and I don't have an adapter to give me wifi, so I have to use an ethernet cord to my laptop) and in my router you can only use 3071 and 3072 range once so instead of being able to put them in my router for all possible IP addresses each time I reboot I have to delete the one I have in there and make a new one, I don't know why they make these things hard for no reason.

I figured it out I had to select network on the bottom of the screen, but I have another issue. Is it normal for the ip address to change every time you reboot? I rebooted and now Nova Failed Data Port Reachable and broadcast Port Reachable. Do I have to change it every time in my router settings or is there a better way?

This is the first day I've ever tried to play LINK on my rgh. I have followed a tutorial and in NOVA I check all the boxes. Then I start the game (Halo Reach on latest TU) and I hit home button. There's a PUBLIC ROOM with 28 people in it and I hit a to join and X to refresh, but I either don't know what to do from here or I'm doing something wrong. I hit the home button to go back to the game, but the only options I have is for local stuff, if I try to go to matchmaking it says you are not connect to Xbox Live, I also tried custom game and it says it's local to this Xbox 360 console and I'm the only person in there. So I have no idea how to join their room, or if it's supposed to happen automatically? I can see my name in the game room but my name is grayed out so maybe something is wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you trying to say this made all Xbox games work on 360 now? I tried ToeJam & Earl and Tao Feng they still don't work with the latest update. I don't believe this made any new games work at all the update was to make already working games work better by Microsoft.

Didn't fix the only two games I wanted it to fix, ToeJam & Earl III and Tao Feng Fist of the Lotus, oh well.
