Well, I got my game this morning but I get the update prompt, I have never been able to figure out how to use XEBuild to make my nand and WNYConsoles isn't making much of an effort to get in touch with me (and was supposed to provide nand updates) apparently he has no intention on following through with his promises.So now I have to try and build my own nands, I tried to follow the instructions on the thread by JPizzle, but apparently I'm doing something wrong.

go to www.jqe360.com and download them manually and network your xbox and log onto FSD's HTTP UI and set them manually, but doing that would take forever if you have a lot of games. EDIT: BTW, are you tethering from a phone? I have this problem because my ISP blocks the dns server so the laptop wont connect to the internet, I have found a way around this with a DNS app for the phone but still the xbox doesn't connect, just a little FYI, if your connection is DSL or broadband or whatever, than you should contact your internet provider.

I was wondering how the control scheme (on foot) is? Is it anything like GTA 4's? One thing that killed GTA4 for me was the way Niko walked in the game, did GTA5 improve this? EDIT: Ack, I totally overlooked the "Games" forum under Xbox, could someone move my thread there for me?

I have it running on a Trinity, some of the roms arent working properly, I was playing WCW Revenge and playing the US Championship path and after pinning my opponent the match would restart, I would beat him again and it would restart the match again, just a big loop, Super Mario 64 didn't keep save data, I wish they would fix that or implement save states. EDIT: Do you have your roms in the same folder as the xenon.elf? Are you running from DVD or USB?

I could still boot to Freestyle, just couldn't boot Xell, Reflashing the nand fixed Xell (to the state it was with Xell 0.991), If you have a nand backup and can get to F3, use a nand flasher like Nandflasher360 and flash from Freestyle.

Beta 2 is still rebooting to XellEdit: Roms weren't in the base directory with the xenon.elf file, moved the roms their and its working fine.

I'm not able to load from DVD with the latest Xell-Reloaded (0.993) and until swizzy checks it out or whatever, I was wondering if its possible to downgrade Xell? For example renaming a older version to updxell.bin? Edit: Well I decided to be the guinea pig and it apparently doesn't work that way, I renamed the older Xell-Reloaded 0.991 version to updxell.bin and it said it updated successfully and to reboot, but I can't get to xell now, I guess I will have to flash the nand backup and that should fix it. Live and Learn.

Thanks, My last Xell-Reloaded did scan DVD before I updated Xell.

Is ver 0.993 missing something? When I boot to Xell from dvd button and it gets to the point where its "Looking for files on local media and TFTP" it doesn't appear to be scanning DVD. I'm trying Mupen64 on DVD as a substitute for the usb, that's why I noticed it doesn't seem to be scanning for a DVD

I can't write code and know nothing about compiling. I put this version of mupen64 on my usb and it has been loading it from both Xell and Dashlaunch, however when I select a rom, it tries to load for example when trying to start Super Mario 64 I can hear the chime (you know right before Mario says "It's Me, Mario") then the Ring of lights do a circle and reboots to Xell, WTF!!!

So where still stuck with pre-mapped buttons, I swear it would be so much better if we had the ability to set the buttons ourselves like on PC emulators.

Well I dont know the VIP/PID, but its a Sandisk Cruzer 8GBEdit: oh I forgot I checked what filesystem I had it formatted to and it wasn't NTSF, it was FAT32

I think my usb is formatted in NTSF, maybe reformatting it to FAT will help, if not I dont know because I dont have any other USB drives.

I wonder if it could be the USB's File System, Would NTFS or FAT make any difference?Edit: misspelled FAT..(LMFAO)
