Yes, I haven't seen keyser around for awhile, so im posting here hoping for a request. I keep my box offline as much as possible (no use for link yet), and with FSD 'dying' and Aurora taking over, I was wondering if there could/would possibly be support for an app like that. One that will let you manually (on pc) add/edit covers and descriptions. This is my preferred method to update my db covers, especially when its homebrew, named funny, or just 'cant find a cover' online. I like Aurora ALOT and look forward to making it my 'daily driver'!! Is there a way to change the backgrounds in the 'pirate' theme? I like the skull (in the games tab).....made it the intro vid, but (eventho i made .png's) I cannot get the skull as any backgrounds (except startup vid). It even takes the .wmv skull (from games list away). Is there a way to change backgrounds to the kool skull (in .png format of course). Sorry for the noob question, but have tried the tool you posted, and tried xuitt (but cant find where to change background images. If its too hard, ill just keeep the skull as startup, but would like that in the bg on all 'stages'. Is this possible with the 'pirate' skin? Also when I make the skull video the intro vid, it takes the skull animation away from the games list. I even changed the xml's but no luck (except intro vid, but takes the skull away from the games list 'scene'. Ok, I was looking into doing it manualy (via Xebuild GUI by swizzy), but I have no clue which ''hack'' was used (for my smc) all I know is its a jasper jtag. Any help will be much appreciated. Been at this all day changing ip's and subnets, changing pc's, etc. Im lost. If it can connect to the internet, why is it not connecting when I try to update? (I have tried to set ip manually on box, and have tried it on 'automatic'). Also, how do i know if i have a big block or small block nand? (was looking into jrunner also).... Can i directly connect a laptop to xbox via lan cable, and get it to work that way? TIA!! never mind, i got it...

yes, i leave dashlaunch runing when enableing 'updateserv'.... it always sez ''watching network for xbox...." and then it says it cannot find it.

Ok, I really didnt want to have to post this here, but i cannot get xbox to connect to pc. both are on same network/subnet, all i get is ''watching network for xbox...." and then it says it cannot find it. I've updated to dashlaunch 3.09 and tried the updserv on both 3.09 and 3.08 dashlaunch installers. I am at a loss, not sure where its messing up, as FSD is telling me there are updates for it (so its talking to the internet). How do i get XE_build to see xbox? (sorry for my n00b questions). I have nand backups and stuff, but have never had to use Jrunner or update xbox myself. Any help is much appreciated!! I booted xell, and tried to put the xbox ip in IE (on pc) and got nothing there either. Ive disabled all my protections on pc, just in case firewall was blocking XE_build, but no difference there. xbox ip: 192.168.1.11 pc ip: 192.168.1.9 subnet: 255.255.255.0 (both) gateway: 192.168.1.1 Jasper/Jtag on dash 15574 with dashlaunch 3.09 installed
