I think you're missing the positive effects of open sourcing something. I don't belive their would be alot of forks of Aurora if it was open sourced. Of course people can fork the project, that's the whole idea. Users however will use the fork they like the most, not what's dictated by one developer (for good and bad). people won't fork just for the fun of it, and users won't switch to another fork if they are happy with what they are using. A fork has to be better to win users. As for the notion of nobody stepping up to the plate, are you talking about developing a new dashboard?! what good would that bring? open sourcing would allow people to see/analyze/learn and get involved and help out with the project. Starting from scratch is (imho) to big of a step for most developers but I believe alot of developers would be willing to invest their time if they hade something to build on. It's naturally not up to me or any one else besides the owner of the code, but to to me it sounds as someone who wants to maintain control of the project, and that is of course as good of a reason as any. I'm just hoping this project won't go the abondonware route with the code and knowledge all lost beacuse of one developer loosing interest over time. Anyways, looking forward to 0.7b and love the work you put into this, it is much appreciated.

sounds good, thanks gavin @felida connectx might be outdated but what choices exists? sorry for not beeing up to date with undisclosed features ;-) I have no trouble waiting I only thought I had missed that it had been fixed in 0.6b I won’t bring it up again... :-) Cheers!

I get the annoyance of always beeing asked that same question. it seems as it is the one thing all software developers have to handle, my take would be, delete the posts/text and replace it with a link *question already answered* sort of. save you having to answer it over and over again. also saves us from reading it and perhaps shows others that it’s an unwanted behaviour. though answering one of your questions posed above would be connectx with multidisc, that feature i’m actually longing for. or have I missed that it is actually working in 0.6b? i’m working on a aurora-script that syncs saves to connectx for our multiple xboxes in the home, once I finish that and I get aurora to work with multidisc over conX my life is complete. as can’t be said enough, your work is amazing and please don’t let comments like above put you off.

This states different: This is my most anticipated fix which I hope will be addressed in 0.7b. anyways, love your work! you guys alone keeps the 360 alive.
