Okay I can't get my retail to join my RGH through wired or wireless connections.

I'm using FSD 3.0, DashLaunch 3.05 and my xbox dash is 16202

Is your RGH COD set to retail or dev.

Get your retail, install to HDD (use nxe2god to convert it to GoD) then try that.

Install mw2 to my retail HDD? I have a normal copy of mw2 why convert it?

I changed back to TU8 so the numbers match and disabled devlink. But it didn't help. I have an ethernet plugged into each console

Install your retail disc to the RGH and use NXE2GOD to convert it so the disc is not required to play it and so that your using the same copies.

and dont do the "bump" here, can get you banned.

If your consoles are connected to one another by ethernet (XBOX <> ETHERNET <> XBOX) are you using a cross over ethernet cable? are the 2 consoles getting an IP address?

I'm not sure if its a cross over ethernet. They bot have separate IPs yes.

Yeah your using the right cable, its odd. I don't suppose by chance you'll be able to connect the 2 xboxes together via a router and try it that way?

I can try that tomorrow and see if it works. It works perfectly when I switch from RGH to stock dash. I have a dual nand. I didn't think system link would be this hard to set up.

Can you also tell me how to use a patch_mp.ff file? My mate sent one for WaW and told me do get a TU. But no default_mp.xex to replace so I'm not sure what it does?

Bump. I got it fixed. It is definitely FSD 3.0 that is blocking me from system link

in F3, go to settings/plugins area and unload the plugin whenever you want to do a conventional systemlink.

Yeah I did thanks. Its a shame I really like FSD. Just removed it from starting up. Will use it to copy games show off to my mates
