AntiVirGear 18 Posted April 24, 2016 Hey Guys, so now I start speaking about it but some games are unplayable if I am signed in with any profile. I dunno why it happen, I tried them without contpatch, xblapatch AND/OR licpatch but still crashing. Worms crashes, Minecraft crashes (don't crash if I disable every title update but then it wont load my saves because they are made with TU36), ... Any kind of solution there or is my NAND damages? Maybe wrong settings in dashlaunch? Best Regards Pascal
Swizzy 2084 Posted April 24, 2016 Post your dashlaunch settings and we'll have a look, also... what kernel are you on? and, have you tried different profiles? (do they all do this?)

Transmitted by Elephone P3000s What happens if you remove this line?: plugin1 = Hdd:\Aurora\Plugins\xbdm.xex xbdm is known to cause issues with games and whatnot... ** edit: ** Another possibly culprit is fakelive, it's good to have it disabled when not needed as it makes games possibly run routines which requires a Xbox Live connection, sometimes without actually validating the state of the connection properly (thus resulting in a crash) signnotice may also cause issues, but usually nothing related to games crashing, that's more of a closing a popup before it's displayed

Also how do I extract that info about my Xbox if you need it? Would be great if you would also tell us what game you're asking for help about, is it all games? or a specific one? Since Aurora restarts your console, it seems that your HDD might be no good, try reformatting it with something like GUIFormat (something small and specific to FAT32, not one of them commercial/free big ass things with support for multiple different formats as these may very well mess up something while these specific tools do it just right as they don't try to be a jack of all trades)
Jayol 1 Posted May 3, 2016 Thanks for getting back to me so promptly! Aurora 0.5b r1025 kernel 2.0.17489.0 Just one game: Tony Hawk Project 8 Issue occurs on the internal HDD as well. I do get a message saying "Fatal Crash Intercepted" as it reboots I disabled fakelive to no avail. I have nothing listed under plugins in dashlaunch Thanks for your help so far! Jayol 1 Posted May 4, 2016 Can I ask a stupid question and say how would I install as a GOD through NXE? I wanted to convert to GOD on my PC but my PC doesn't read 360 game disks
Swizzy 2084 Posted May 4, 2016 Can I ask a stupid question and say how would I install as a GOD through NXE? I wanted to convert to GOD on my PC but my PC doesn't read 360 game disks Step 1. Exit to NXE Step 2. Put the disc in the console (might want to do that while in Aurora tho) Step 3. However over the disc icon and wait a few seconds Step 4. Press the button to open Details Step 5. Select Install and follow the instructions on the screen Voila, you now have a NXE install of the game... next you may want to run NXE2GOD to convert it to a GOD rather then NXE install
Jayol 1 Posted May 4, 2016 Well I'll be! That worked! I didn't seem to have to do any further converting though, just added that folder it generated on the usb called 'content' into my list of paths and shows up fine and finally plays. Thanks heaps for that! You seem to be a wealth of knowledge on the forums, answering all the sticky questions! Keep up the awesome work!

I didn't changed anything in dashlaunch :/ Ripped it manually with Aurora (CopyPaste) Does the disc contain a Content folder? if so - It contains XBLA titles and have a XBLA Title Launcher (which is why it crashes as it expects things to be on the disc, not some other directory) To deal with that - you just simply copy the Content folder as-is to HDD1, voila, done... However, that's not always the case, i would need to see more information about the disc in order to really tell you what to do with it if it doesn't work with that or a NXE install... Judging by a quick google search followed by a search on xbox.com i would assume this is the one you've got?: http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-GB/Product/The-Serious-Sam-Collection/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024d4b07da?cid=search and it essentially says that it is the XBLA titles + DLC on disc... nothing more... Swizzy 2084 Posted May 4, 2016 worked but weird... the "loader" crashes the console but the games inside alone not... why? Like i said, it expects the data to be on the disc, the disc isn't present (or not mounted atleast) and it's having a fatal exception which isn't handled... as a result, the console crashes... (do you have the option enabled to try and handle those? i don't remember the settings name atm, it's a dashlaunch thing... something like exechandler or something like that i think)

brunoaduarte 0 Posted December 1, 2023 Hi, sorry to revive such an old topic. I'm trying to run Worms Collection Revolution on my Jasper XBOX360 and it's crashing the video game. I've downloaded 2 versions and both crash it. I'm on latest Kernel 2.0.17559.0 and latest version of Aurora 0.7b r1655. Tried disabling all plugins on launch.ini and issue persists. Any ideas how to fix this ? All other games I tried including a SNES emulator runs just fine. Thanks! Here's my launch.ini file content And here's the links i've downloaded Worms from https://dlxbgame.com/worms-the-revolution-collection-jtag-rgh/ BTW, i also tried to download the ISO game file and converted it with ISO2GOD https://github.com/iliazeus/iso2god-rs , moved the files to the HDD and it shows an error saying that the game is corrupted to download it again ; launch.xex V3.0 config file ; parsed by simpleIni http://code.jellycan.com/simpleini/ ; currently supported devices and paths: ; internal hard disk Hdd:\ ; usb memory stick Usb:\ ; memory unit Mu:\ ; USB memory unit UsbMu:\ ; big block NAND mu FlashMu:\ ; internal slim 4G mu IntMu:\ ; internal corona 4g mu MmcMu:\ ; CD/DVD Dvd:\ (not recommended to use this one) ; buttons can point to any xex, or any CON with default.xex in it on any of the above devices ; note that Right Bumper is ALWAYS default to return NXE ; if you want to assign an additional one, use the path Sfc:\dash.xex ie: ; BUT_A = Sfc:\dash.xex ; all comments and fields in this file are optional, you can remove anything you don't need ; sorry for any double negatives :p ; njoy, cOz ; example entry ; Default = Hdd:\FreeStyle\default.xex [Paths] BUT_A = BUT_B = BUT_X = Hdd:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00080000\C0DE99990F586558 BUT_Y = Start = Back = LBump = RThumb = LThumb = ; Default is what loads when you hold no buttons ; leave this blank if you want NXE as default Default = Hdd:\Homebrew\Aurora\Aurora.xex ; at boot time, default can be overridden based on how the console is turned on ; if you start with wired/wireless/IR guide button, this item if existing will be used instead of default ; note that the Guide item is ALWAYS overridden by option: remotenxe = true Guide = ; if you power on with the button on the front of the console (or the power button on a remote if remotenxe is not set to true) ; this item will be used instead of default Power = ; if set, going to system settings from HUD will run this app, override with Right Bumper Configapp = ; if set, this will be run as a title before any other option occurs, does not get circumvented by held buttons or default ; guide/power opts are processed after this; intended for a short video player to allow replacing bootanim Fakeanim = ; by default this only dumps to UART, setting a file here will cause unhandled exception info to be dumped ; as text to a file.
