mossman70 12 Posted September 20, 2013 This does seem to have something to do with routers. Everything working fine with my old wrt54g running tomato. Upgraded to a dlink dir-868l and its been a no go for me. diffrent ports, diffrent internal ip address. Can see each other in the system link room but no longer able to see each other in the game room. Still thanks for the great work to all that help us enjoy our xboxs Think your right about the routers. I've got 2 xbox's on my home network and when I had my Netgear DG843GT (DG Team firmware installed) I couldn't connect on Link with each other, my Netgear recently failed so purchased the Billion 7800N and once the router was configured for port forwarding and such I can now play against each other on the same network, no settings altered on each xbox with FSD which at the time was version 735. I've updated to 775 and can still connect no probs. Think its defo something to do with what router you have.
