SaintsRow1Fan 0 Posted January 10, 2016 I have an interesting dilemma regarding FSDPlugin - when loaded, and playing a slightly modded copy of Saint's Row (for anyone who's interested in what I did: http://steamcommunity.com/id/31976375/screenshots/?appid=sc_23702&sort=newestfirst&browsefilter=myfiles&view=grid ) the game will randomly freeze up while driving or just running/walking around. If I load the game via xexmenu or disable the plugin before playing, the game runs fine.I consulted this ( http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/1252-before-posting-issues-with-f3-v735-update-read-this/ ) before posting and everything is correct. Default skin, devlink off, pingpatch on .etc so i'm pretty damn stumped.I tried running with just the FSDPlugin (no other plugins loaded), clearing the parsed game data, resetting the settings to default, nothing fixed it. This is on the last revision of FSD before the devs went on to work on Aurora - 3.0b Rev775. I'm debating on if I should just install Aurora.
Swizzy 2084 Posted January 10, 2016 It could be that this particular game requires more memory then is available when it happens, games are not produced with the FSD plugin in mind, mods may cause the game to use more memory aswell which ends up with the game not having enough to accommodate the fact that the FSD plugin is also running
SaintsRow1Fan 0 Posted January 11, 2016 Shit, it looks like you're onto something. Played the stock game off the disc for 20-25 minutes with the plugin enabled, no freeze.
SaintsRow1Fan 0 Posted January 14, 2016 Sorry for the double post, but yup, that's the case. Tried the plugin on another game (Full Auto) and it works fine.
